not only was the server rude, but I also found a piece of hair in my ice cream.

I come tonight to eat at Haagen Dazs w. The family and this is the closet we came from Brooklyn and we arrive and so very little selection everything was gone. I asked him for pralines and cream and he said it’s in the back and he couldn’t get it for me because it was no space and the other coworker try to say no we don’t have any this is so ridiculous. Never again.

This place is terrible — the problem is that compared to other Haagen-Daz locations even within the city, this one is exceptionally more expensive. They sell their ice cream under the table — they don’t give you a receipt if you pay cash and they don’t record it as income, which as a small business owner myself, I find that offensive. If you don’t pay sales tax, then don’t collect it from me and put it in your pocket. I ordered a cookies and cream milk shake — it had a bit of a chemical after taste which I never experienced before. The guy who helped make my milk shake was very nice — no complaints really about the service itself. The quality and price are my top complaints — and the no seating despite the huge size of this location.

«Skip this and go to Chinatown Ice Cream Factory instead» is NOT a review. I understand that it’s extremely over priced here, but its not like they have a menu with no prices next to it! Just leave if you think it’s too pricey! Don’t write a review saying«don’t come here its 2 expensive» Haagen Dazs is what they are. Expensive ice cream. I love their ice cream since forever and I don’t mind paying more because why the hell not, its normal to treat yourself. You can’t expect to have bread everyday for a year, right? So its fine to have it once a year or something. The service isn’t too great though honestly(that took a star) and you don’t see Chinese customers here because they’re too cheap and would go to Chinatown Ice Cream Factory instead of here… except me.

Hm. I may have to re-think my ice cream loving abilities. I’ve always hated on Haagen Dazs because of the price and I never thought it was worth it to buy it in supermarkets because it was just that much more expensive. I’m a poor resident — what else can I say? It just so happened that one night, some mysterious guy decided to take me to Haagen Dazs because the DDR machines at the arcade were all taken. Omggggg — some good ass ice cream. Seriously — so creamy and delicious. The waffle cone dipped in chocolate with nuts was a bit much, but the cookies and cream ice cream was SOSOSO good. $ 5.50 for a cone and a scoop though. My wallet bleedssssss

You can get the same thing at Target for a lesser value. Nothing to really experience here. They just slop on the ice cream, take your cash, and«NEXT»! You can get all the same flavours at Target or 711.

I’ve never really understood how people don’t get this. You can’t put a price tag on great customer service. Now no matter when I come back to New York I’m guaranteed to visit this location because of Kenneth. The service we got was above and beyond. Not only does he sell us an ice cream cake that he turned into a fusion of two other cakes but he directs us to the best place around to enjoy it. He was just such a pleasant and helpful guy who went that extra mile!!! So being the«grown-ups» we are, we savage the bag/box, open the ice cream cake and immediately go to work. 30 minutes later we come to the realization that we’re not going to be able to finish this is one sitting. So with the bag in tatters we decide to return to the store for a fresh bag. With a fair amount of shopping/dining left to us Kenneth offers to keep the rest of the cake in the freezer until we’re done and we can pick it up later. That’s not just exemplary customer service that’s Alfred Pennysworth level(oh just google it). So hit this Haagen Dass, see my boy Kenneth, and drop a buck or two in the tip jar when you get great service. Oh and if you’re his boss and reading this PAYHIMMORE!!! Nuff Said

Tons of flavors. You cant go wrong with any of their over the top, über rich frozen dairy products. Kinda expensive, but its what you expect from Haagen Daazs and its in Manhattan… so, its par the course… just hold your nose when stroling down the block, chinatown is one stinky neighborhood!

As Jacklyn L has mentioned, why come to Haagen-Daaz when you can go to Chinatown Ice Cream Factory to get a much better dessert experience and not have to pay an arm and a leg? Haagen-Daaz is overly expensive. A small is almost $ 7. That’s ridiculous. You can get 2 pints of Haagen-Daaz for $ 6. No thanks. I will not be returning.

Haagen Daz here is overpriced and the service is not that great! I came here because I was craving some ice cream when walking around the area! Haagen-Dazs makes a really good tasting ice cream. To be honest, I might not come here again because I figure that why pay $ 4 to $ 5 dollars for one scoop of ice cream when I can buy an entire pint of the same tasting ice cream at the grocery store for the same price?

Ice cream here is like any other Haagen-Daz, but I do enjoy some of their icecream cakes. It is also located at the cross roads of Little Italy and Chinatown, so it is quite an iconic location. Quite tight corners, and gets ridiculously crowded during summers. Ideally sitting down in a cool area to enjoy your icecream before it melts would be great, however there is no such forum in the area to do that, so wolf down that yummy cool goodness ASAP.

They give tiny scoop. I love Haagen Dazs but do go somewhere else.

Ok, I don’t think the Tuesday afternoon deal is there anymore. Then there is practically no reason to come here. A regular cup of ice cream with 2 – 3 scoops is $ 6.50, you can find the packaged pints at any of the supermarkets near by for $ 5 or less. Don’t talk to me about freshness, they taste absolutely the same.

Haagen Dazs has always been my favorite brand for its quality of ice cream. I love traditional hard ice cream with high quality ingredients. This Haagen Dazs boutique sits in Chinatown Manhattan’s hustle and bustle corner of Bayard Street. Service is attended by typical high school kids who have little regard for ethics or integrity of customer service. One small cup is expensively priced at $ 4.00. Ice cream cakes are available for purchase and, as per a previous Unilocaler, this boutique is cash only. They do not accept any form of credit or debit cards, thus patrons who crave for ice cream need to shell out the cash plastered with dearly departed U.S. presidents in green on 100% cotton paper.

I say no to these guys because they did not participate in the Free Cones Day and from now on I refuse to go to this place to buy anything. They pissed a lot of people off including my friends and I.

Good Grief, the portions for a regular ice cream cone are small. The business seems to dwindle and the workers seem to show it as well.

Why come here when the Chinatown ice cream factory is literally perpendicular to this place? Honestly, idk why you should, but if you’re not in the mood to experiment, then here’s safe. It’s small inside. It’s $ 4.25 for a small cone. It’s made my wallet smaller because the price for a small wasn’t SO small afterall. Hmph.

*You can never go wrong with Haagen Daz. *31 cents night is a lie. They close early and tape a sign up claiming ice cream ran out. At 6pm.

I’ve always regretted the times I’ve passed up the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory to get something here. Don’t get me wrong, Haagen Dazs is near and dear to my heart but I don’t know how this location makes enough money to stay open. For one thing, it is cash only and the time I opted for a waffle cone bowl it was like eating a hard piece of cardboard. BUT I gave it two stars because when I’m craving a dulce split dazzler and I’m in the area I’ll probably return. In the end you can’t go wrong with ice cream ;-)
