I absolutely loved this place. Came here with a friend on a weekday night for dinner and shared the mango empanadas, and a dessert. my friend got the kale pizza and I had the veggie burger. Will be coming back for sure.

I came here with a girlfriend of mine that has been coming here a handful of times. We came here for dinner and had the asparagus ravioli, and setan with truffle mashed, and sautéed kale. I am so glad that we decided to share because they went well together. Both were absolutely delicious! If I could eat food like this every night, I may just be vegan forever! Cocktails are delicious. I am a huge fan of the basil gin cocktail. It’s so nice to see that they have organic options. Our waiter was very kind, and we felt comfortable. The flowers on the tables are so delicate, and beautiful.

I try to come here at least once a week! Gusto is among my favorite spots in the city for its creative menu, adorable ambiance and friendly staff. Every meal I’ve had here is delicious and satisfying — especially at brunch!(The bottomless bloody marys are worth the extra $ 10) The«huevos rancheros» is excellent. Also try the tofu sticks(a tantalizing alternative to mozzarella sticks) and the mango chipotle maki rolls. Just because food is healthy(and vegan!!!) doesn’t mean it can’t taste incredible. Cheers for Gusto!

Tl;dr: Amazing food, amazing drink. Brunch here is so good. You’d be dumb to not come here. Came here for my birthday. The host was amazingly friendly, food was great(get the veggs and biscuits), blood Mary’s were fantastic. Also the ice cream is wonderful.

It was a Wednesday eve, beautiful summer night. I made a point of eating here because I’d heard they were struggling to stay in business. So I was happily surprised to see the place near-full and bustling. The location is close to the now-defunct Gobo, all-the-more important to give GustOrganics some patronage. I can only imagine the ridiculous rent. The space and atmosphere is comfortable and airy. Great washrooms too. For my appetizer, I chose the Mango Chipotle Maki Rolls. Good taste and texture, excellent zesty dipping sauce made with cashews. For my next course I had the Garlic Kale Pizza made with chickpea flour and topped with herbed tofu feta. Chickpea flour is great for certain recipes. Not this one. The style of this dish was a flatbread. If you want to call something pizza, it should somewhat resemble the texture and taste of traditional pizza dough. The tastiest part of the recipe was the basil pesto base. Calling the tofu crumbled«feta» is also a stretch since it had no resemblance in taste. If you order this, I’d recommend splitting it among two or three people. A small sampling is enough. The dessert was Mango Cheesecake. A delicious choice but again, I would call it what it really was: Mango Coconut custard pie. There are other vegan recipes which mimic a traditional cheesecake and warrant the association. Service was fine and helpful. I’d return to try other menu choices.

There is one thing I hate most in this world and that’s Crowd Funding. The owner decided to put placards on all the tabled to SAVEGUSTORGANICS. I believe the customer is already supporting your restaurant by eating there! They CROWDFUNDEDINSEPTEMBERTOBECOMEVEGAN. INJULYTHEYCROWDFUNDTOSTAYVEGAN. something smells fishy. You can’t make it? Get a smaller space, get a bank loan, sell your apartment or ask your parents. It’s plain tacky to commence a beg a thon. Love, an offended customer

What an amazing find! Came across this place on the map and were very impressed! 100% organic menu, even the bar menu which was such a pleasant surprise. We ordered the Raw Endive Tacos, Thai Coconut Curry, the Veggie Burger, and a side of lentils. All were very delicious. Friendly and informative staff — can accommodate any allergies We also had the chocolate divine juice and the tiramisu which were absolutely amazing!

GustOrganics is a bit of a hit-or-miss type place with a few kinks although being in business for several years(though months ago they went full-vegan the staff has remained the same.) I’ve had a few dishes here on the 3 – 4 times I have visited. The best thing here is the mushroom ravioli, which is by far out of this world amazing. Then there are things on the opposite side of the spectrum like the pesto«pizza» which basically tastes like olive oil on a soggy cracker. In fact that’s pretty much what it is. The other dishes I’ve had were unimpressive, however I’d come here just for the ravioli alone. The service is horrendous! It pains me to say this, but the last time I came here several people never got their food, the servers were confused, more people still got the wrong dish entirely and there were only a couple other tables here! This has happened a couple of times, so I guess 50% ain’t half bad? Wait, yes it is. The owner(Kiki) refuses to address any issues here, and is in fact maintaining the helm on a sinking ship — which would be admirable were she not the one sinking it. It’s unfortunate, because I don’t think she’s a bad person(never met her), just a bad business owner and I want above all else to see vegan places thrive!

I am not vegan, not even a vegetarian. I love my grass-fed beef, wild seafood and duck.(not a real chicken fan anymore unless smothered in mole.) Had a Life Balance bowl, and Liquid Iron… Delicious… And going back for more. More veggies better for my aging heart and arteries… PS. I usually drink a green smoothie in the morning at home

My favorite vegan restaurant! My bf and I had heard that they recently switched to all vegan, so wanted to go out and support. We’ve never been to an organic, all vegan restaurant before, but it’s exactly what we want! The staff was extremely friendly and engaging, we became quite friendly with two of their servers who stopped by to see how we were doing and chat with us about upcoming vegan events in the city and at the restaurant. Really good happy hour specials — $ 7 for a cocktail and $ 4 for a beer, can’t beat that for organic alcoholic beverages! I got the strawberry bliss and my bf got the red sangria. Very good. We got the coconut maki rolls and stuffed mushrooms(special) as appetizers. Unreal how good they were! The flavoring was phenomenal. For dinner we got the protein salad, subbed kale for the base and carrot-ginger dressing which they were very accommodating to, and the alfredo seitan linguine. The salad was very good, but the linguine was out of this world! My bf and I both agree that it is the best vegan dish we’ve ever had. It reminded him of his mom’s cooking growing up(Italian & nonvegan). Got the tiramisu for dessert and again the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. It was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant to vegans and nonvegans alike. Keep up the great work and I hope other restaurants will follow your lead and transform to an all vegan menu!

Wonderfully randomly ran into this place to get out of the rain after noticing they had vegan options on the menu. To my surprise and delight, the entire menu is plant based! My food was excellent, as was the service. The zucchini potato soup was fabulous, and the chilly bean smoked tempeh quesedilla was everything I could have wanted. Plus they have a full bar, which you don’t always find in vegan dining. I would definitely go back, except on purpose this time.

This is one of my favorite places for brunch. I usually come here for brunch on the weekends. Their huevos rancheros is the only thing I order. Their food is great, their customer service is outstanding. What more can you ask for? This place does get a little crowed for brunch, but it’s worth the wait. Give this place a try.

I still thought this place served omni-options, so I suggested it to my non-vegan date. I was really excited to find out it is complete plant-based. There were so many options. I went for lunch, so I decided on the special with soup and a juice. It was a pretty good deal and the portion was just right. For lunch on a tuesday, it seemed pretty busy, but the service was great. They seated me although I was waiting. The server was attentive and knowledgeable about the ingredients. I am also happy they label with menu for common food allergies. I would recommend this place for date, plenty of tables for two. I am sure they can also accommodate large groups. This is definitely a healthy restaurant no french fries.

Service was accommodating and friendly, drinks were delicious and a great price($ 7 cocktails during happy hour), and the menu offers a wide range of small and large meals. Loved it! P. S. Excellent bathrooms :)

Holy Matrimony this food is so good. i had eaten here a very long time ago and was actually kind of grossed out. I vowed never to come here again. However, I heard that they went fully vegan and they are 100% certified organic. That is no small potatoes. I work at an organic restaurant and it is actually really difficult to get organic ingredients all the time. Anyway, I came here on a Thursday night with a carnivorous friend. Luis was our server. He was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended a few dishes. We got the tempeh taquitos, the quesadillas, and the spinach mushroom crêpe. As a vegan, I know how easy it can be to rely on soy for everything. I was happy to see that a large percentage of the menu is labeled as soy free. The food was tearfully delicious. Even my skeptical friend was blown away. I was on my second glass of wine and, klutzy lush that i am, i spilled my wine everywhere. Luis quickly cleaned up my mess and brought me a full glass. What a jerk, right? :P I hate apple desserts. What? I had a weird childhood, leave me alone. My friend insisted on the apple crumble so we got it and I actually really liked it. Nice recovery from my experience years ago. And thanks for going fully vegan! I love you, Gusto!

I have eaten at Gustorganics several times in the past few weeks, at lunch time, to take advantage of their great lunch special. Since I am a creature of habit I haven’t tried that many new dishes but everything I have had is superb. During the week, The Balance Bowl, the spaghetti with spinach pesto, and the tofu scramble for brunch on Saturday were all excellent meals. Each lunch special came with choice of soup or salad. Because of the cold weather I stuck to soups. I liked the chickpea mushroom soup the best, but the others ;lentil, potato, and broccoli based(I forget the rest) were all close seconds. The service is excellent. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and spacious at the same time. I always sit by the window so I can people watch, draw a little bit, and sort out my day, while I eat my lunch. The waiters all seem to understand.. Accommodating and unobtrusive at the same time. And of course the best news is now Gustorganics Organics is a hundred percent vegan Keep up the good work… See you for lunch, real soon.

I stopped in on Friday Feb. 20th and loved this place. The waitress so super friendly. The organic pomegranate mojitos were delicious as was my meal. I had the Alfredo pasta with seitan. It was rich and creamy and I didn’t feel guilty since it was organic and vegan. I met Manger Kiki and she was awesome. Go try this place when you are in NYC.

Did you know that the menu is now all vegan? I had a great meal here and would not hesitate recommending this restaurant if you’re craving Italian, wanting to eat«clean» or just try vegan. To be honest, any reason would be a good reason to come here. I was surprised to find that they switched to an entirely vegan menu and that the quality of food is above average! The lasagna was too. die. for! Pause… It was that good. The description of the cocktails sounds great on paper, but the concoction(albeit strong) were just okay. The service needs work. Otherwise this place has a lot of potential. If you haven’t been back here lately, you should give them another try.

Upon arriving at GustOrganics for lunch today, I was surprised that the menu has changed completely since the last time I came here in July. I was initially really disappointed because there were so many items from the old menu that I wanted to try! After contemplating between two tapas or one entrée, I decided to get the former when the waiter told us that the soup of the day was Butternut Squash. YUM! I got a bowl of Dairy-free Butternut Squash Soup($ 7) and Garlic Kale Pizza($ 12), while my friend also got the soup and Quinoa Salad with Avocado($ 15). The soup, which was garnished with parsley, was served within 5 minutes of ordering. It was tasty, but considering the portion, I thought $ 7 was extremely overpriced. The soup tasted healthy and warmed my body though. The Garlic Kale Pizza was served on a wooden board. I got four tiny squares of pizza(made with sprouted buckwheat bread) with spinach pesto, garlic kale, and tofu parmesan. The bread was thin and crunchy. There was way too much oil from the pesto so it was quite greasy. The garlic flavor in the kale was a bit strong for my liking. I liked the tofu crumbles, but there just weren’t very much. My friend enjoyed his quinoa salad, but it just wasn’t presented as nicely as the one I got in July. Instead of ½ whole avocado, it was chopped into smaller pieces instead. Overall, GustOrganics is VERY pricey for the size of the food you get. I feel like they hype up the price by calling everything organic. BTW, the menu on its website is not the same as the one in the restaurant.

Service was average — no real complaints My friend had a big long hair in her quinoa. They, of course, replaced it without a fuss, but still… My turkey meatballs in sauce were the most bland I’ve ever had. Excepting the hair, which I’ll assume was a stroke of bad luck, nothing about the meal was terrible… nor was it memorable. No reason to return.
