Delivery person VERY nice on previous occassions, however the Caribbean woman who answered the phone was very rude. She took my address and order to rudely tell me she wasn’t sending someone two blocks to deliver because it is cold. If she knew that was an issue why would you even take my order? She proceeded to argue with me before I could even ask what my other options were, such as adding to the order, which a few of my coworkers were open to doing. She spoke to me in a condescending tone as if I was her child. I did not appreciate that at all. As a result my company and I will no longer be patrons of your business

Great little place… The guys behind the deli counter are fast and polite. But I need them to get a tip jar!!! I feel awkward taking my amazing bagel with nowhere to put the tip!

Went to purchase lunch and while its not the worse thing that could happen to me, I was ignored for about 20 minutes. The server, a female, kept on taking order after order from other folks even though she knew I had a special order.

I come here every week or two for an egg sandwich in the morning before work, but no more. I had no cash on me this morning and tried to buy an egg sandwich with tomato and avocado and a large iced-coffee($ 7.25 total) with my debit card. I was told to buy some bottles of water to get my total over $ 10(they have a sign saying $ 10 minimum for cards). What poor customer service — I’ve been going there for years and usually have cash, but just not today. I got annoyed and I said no — and I also said no to taking out money from their ATM with a $ 4 service charge. I exchanged words with one of the cashiers(short, glasses, ponytail) and eventually picked up a bottle of iced tea to avoid making a scene. I let her know I won’t be returning and she didn’t care. Awful customer service. The food’s fine, but I won’t be going back.

Damn good breakfast — eggs so yummy they put a smile in your tummy. The real reason to go is that they have the best sandwiches in NYC — deli sandwiches in NYC — inexpensive and delish. The smoothie station is average as is the salad bar but the breakfasts and sandwiches make this place the best quality value and service deli in Murray Hill hands down.

This is easily my favorite deli. I mostly have breakfast sandwiches there, but sometime I will have lunch as well. Salads are delicious and pretty big. Hot sandwiches are great. They have delicious, fresh food. They also deliver. Perfect for a weekend hangover. The best part I have to say, however, is the customer service! The owner and the other employees completely make the experience here so much better, even if you are just taking out. Definitely my first choice when it comes to deli food.

Love this place. Others can talk about this deli or that deli has better food. Honestly they are 99% the same. The people who work here are so friendly you feel like you’re in a small town. It’s the best deli in NYC.

I used to go there a lot to get small things like eggs, milk, and turkey slices. But I never go back again since I saw the guy working on my turkey slices. He touched my money all over his hands. And without putting on any gloves(!!) he worked on my turkey slices. Eewww…

I stopped by this place about a few years ago when visiting NYC. I’ve been searching for it on the web because I plan on visiting this place again! The deli sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever tasted! I got the Italian sand which and it was super fresh and filled with tasty ingredients! There are other options there but I’m guessing the deli is the most delicious part of Green Leaf. No other sandwiches around the area will compare to these!

Green Leaf is one of the better places in all of midtown. They’re extremely courteous and professional, and even on the busiest of days you’ll find that they still manage to treat you with the utmost respect and attention. There are a few other delis/cafes within a few blocks of this place, but you’re wasting your time if you go to any of them. I’ve been to almost every café and deli in the vicinity, but, as someone who values courtesy, respect, and affordable food, Green Leaf stands above the rest of them. The cooks are all friendly and knowledgeable; you can even ask them for some suggestions if you’re not sure what to get, and they’ll gladly come up with something delicious. Max, the young Latin short order cook who is always there, is cheerful and has always, without fail, prepared my food, as well as everyone else’s in my company, just the way it should be prepared. Max, Baby, Chris, and the rest of the Green Leaf staff are exceptional at what they do. Cheers, Nigel Nicholas

Delicious Sausage Egg and Cheese Bagels! And super cheap at $ 2.50 each. The sausage is actually turkey sausage so maybe that makes you feel a little healthier when eating it? Whatever, they’re delicious!

Not quite a deli, but rather somewhere between a bagel/breakfast take-out and a convenience store. Green Leaf Deli stocks an impressive array of dry foods and beverages, including a limited selection of beer. Produce looks a little past its prime. Bagels and other baked goods are near the checkout and presumably fresher. I needed a cup of coffee, and heading west along 34th Street I had not yet encountered the Kosher Dunkin’ Donuts. Friends suggested we stop in here. I was very unimpressed with the coffee, which was tepid and tasted like it had been sitting around for hours, which, at 11AM, was probably the case. Service is bare-bones and unpleasant, but the cashiers will take care of you quickly. Clearly not a place anyone seeks out, but if you’re in the area, or live nearby, and need a quick bite or the odd missing ingredient, this place fits the bill.
