NO, Don’t Go Here!!! Don’t do it to yourself. I don’t give out too many 1 stars but this spot deserved it. I live about 3 minutes away from this place. Its next to one of my favorite Thai food spots. I’ve lived in the area nearly 2 years and never came here. As I was driving home I thought… why not. So I ordered the Dragon & Phoenix dish which is General Tso’s Chicken and Shrimp with mixed veg. I also got steamed chicken dumplings. It came out to just over $ 16 and I got a free can of pepsi. After trying this«food» I would probably of paid someone to stop me from ordering here in the first place. When I walked into the spot the lady taking orders was yelling in Chinese to her cooks I assume. The yelling did not stop. I don’t know if she was calling out orders or screaming at them to hurry up. Anyway after I ordered my food she said 10mins. The guy who was already waiting on his food said she told him 10mins about 20mins ago. As I waited this crazy woman continued to yell loudly and I guess they were behind. An order came in over the phone and she told that person about 45min wait time. Anyway I got my food and she was very nice about it. It did take only about 10mins. I got home to eat it and well my food was… warm. .NOT hot. I had to reheat it in the microwave. The steamed chicken dumplings were ok but lack more flavor. The sauce that came with it was a bit sweet but good. The Dragon & Phoenix was HORRIBLE. The vegetables were the best part they were cooked just right. The shrimp was over cooked and tasted bad. The chicken… Oh geez the chicken. I can’t find the words… I give my pitbull a small piece of the general tso chicken and he spit it out. My dog eats almost everything and he wasn’t having none of it. I should of listened to him. I ate about half before throwing it all out because I was hungry. This was basically the only thing I ate all day. Now my tummy hurts. I’m surprised this spot is still up and running. I’m sure there are some health code violations. Especially since my food was warm not hot. Chicken is supposed to reach 165 °F degrees to ensure or reduce the chance of any bacteria growth. Anyway, bottomline… don’t waste your time or money here and save yourself from a visit to the toilet or doctor… =)

We ordered the Beef Chow Fun, Curry Chicken, Chef Specialty — Hunan Beef and fried dumplings. What an disappointment. The chow fun had no taste and it had celery in it. My daughter ended up not eating it. The curry chicken had no curry taste. The Hunan beef had about 2 ounce of beef and probably two large onion in it. The last word, we won’t be coming back again.

I love this place! Best lunch special, and they use so many great fresh veggies in the vegetable fried rice. Where do you ever find taro, asparagus sometimes even zucchini in fast food Chinese restaurant rice? I’ve lived all over Brooklyn, Queens and this is hands down the best Chinese I’ve had. :) yum
