Real time lunch review! Almost two years to the date later, and I’m trying them again. You figure, after that long of doing NYC delivery, you’d get timing down. Still, just to be safe, I pre-ordered in the morning for 1:30pm delivery. Even with hours of notice, they were still half an hour late. Gotta take a star off for that ish. While they offer acceptable-to-good-to-awesome cuisine options, GH has been in the game long enough to realize that, if a customer requests a specific time for pre-order to a corporate building, chances are that’s the only window they have in their schedule. I’ve been avoiding ordering from or recommending them because my co-workers and I don’t have the flexibility to wait for delivery that isn’t timely. With so many comparable options for clean eating throughout the city, many of which are within pick up distant and/or have consistent delivery, I’m bumping GH down to an eat-in, if in the area, option. Just can’t recommend them for delivery when they just can’t execute that function well.

4 stars because I thought they were a bit pricey. Absolutely delightful + guilt free. Ordered from Grub hub. Service & delivery was quick during lunchtime. The vegetarian soul chicken had the perfect amount of BBQ sauce. I can’t believe the chicken nuggets were soy-they taste great. My favorite was the salmon cake platter. This was a huge dish with grilled veggies and 3 big salmon cakes-delicious. My co-worker loved the salmon burger.

food was presented very carelessly on the plate and was not even good at all. We ordered the grilled salmon, zen platter, and eggplant lasagna. Some of the sides were not edible(quinoa) and the rest were just tasteless(spinach and salad) and just simply without any thought. The guacamole chips were just taken out of a a corn chip bag(as was everything there it seems like was taken out of some bulk container) and thrown on the plate without any thought. Will not return there – very unrepresentative of an upper east side Manhattan location.

Stopped by and had the Good Health Burger Deluxe, because they said it was fast to make. It was delicious. Probably not healthy, except in comparison to a beef burger. I will definitely be back.

I love love love love love love love the TexMex Burger here. I can’t seem to order anything else. This burger is soft, messy, and absolutely DELISH! The mayo is alright so I usually skip it. They serve it with tortilla chips, but it doesn’t matter because the TexMex needs nothing else. I am vegetarian and eat veggie burgers everywhere and this one is the top of my list.

Tried twice — brunch, dinner take-out — and both times was simply unimpressed with the food.

I am so glad I discovered Good Health! This place is about to become my default go-to place for lunch AND dinner. I’ve had the Sweet Potato Soup, Steamed Kabocha Squash, and Grilled Eggplant with Soba Noodles. I LOVED the first two, and the entrée was above average but didn’t enjoy it as much as the soup and the squash. The menu said the soup has wild rice, but there were only chunks of apples. The soup tasted so rich and creamy, so it was hard to believe that the soup is oil-free and dairy-free. The Steamed Kabocha Squash is as simple(and delicious) as it gets. A little pricey at $ 7.95, but I love kabocha squash so it was all worth it to me. The Grilled Eggplant with Soba noodles came with BBQ teriyaki tofu. I didn’t expect the tofu to have tempura coating, but it was very tasty. The noodles were slightly dry, but the watery-ness of the eggplant balanced it out.

I came to this restaurant for late dinner with my friend twice. I had Grilled vegetables and cous cous with Tofu in BBQ sauce. It was so good. The grilled Tofu in the sauce was so tasty and vegetables was properly cooked. The cous cous was good too. The salad which comes with main course was fresh but the dressing was not applealing. My friend has chicken in curry. He said he liked it but he couldn’t finish it because it was buge. At second visit, I had Budha bowl which comes in a big bowl. The tofu was cooked in miso orage sauce which was Ok. I liked the BBQ sauce better. Hijiki and other steamed vegetables are good. The fennel added in the dish was not my favorite. In general food are good and service was excellent.

It took about 45 min for my order to be delivered, which is fine by me. The quantity of food is pretty massive, fine by me as well ! I couldn’t finish my lentil soup nor the zen platter, and I didn’t even touch the side salad. The food is good, good quality but not MYPERSONAL favorite(both dishes had a sweet taste to them that I don’t really care for). But otherwise, nothing negative to say, pretty good spot for vegetarians and vegans. 24.36 $ for lentil soup + zen platter + side salad +(free) delivery + 20% tip.

Try their new filled-Mushroom burger, my wife had that and it was delish! I had the fake-chorizo-quesadilla, it was good but could’ve been better with a little less fake chorizo and more tomatoes/cheese. It comes with a side of corn chips, which were nothing special but the side of guacamole was good!

Never been here in person but order from here quite often. My favorite is their harvest burger and the black bean chipotle wrap. Hubby always gets the imitation meat tex-mex options which he says are very good. Food tastes clean and healthy and the portions are good so I don’t feel over stuffed. I do wish there was a way for the burger buns to not be soggy by the time it gets delivered not sure if there is a way to avoid that though.

Good Health has a few palatable vegan/vegetarian options, but I feel as though most of the entrees are less healthy than they are marketed. Everything is heavy on sauce, bread, and this vile vegan mayonnaise, while being meager in terms of veggie and protein portion. I don’t like the fact that all of the sandwiches and wraps come with these awful salty nacho chips. These chips remind of something I ate in middle school that was purchased in a Family Sized bag from Wal-Mart. The chicken dish also looks like something you might feed your dog. The delivery is slow, and despite their pricey and neurotic packaging fee, everything seems to arrive in shambles.

«What am I supposed to do eat my soup with my hands?» This review is more about the delivery. I ordered from here and the delivery was on time as predicted by Grubhub. However, the the tahini sauce, which I paid for, and ketchup were missing. Plus, there were no plasticware and napkins included with my order. Also the soup that I ordered was placed on its side so it was dripping through the lid. That said the chili-lime chicken burger was ok. There was not a spicy kick that I would have expected from something with chilies in it. The sweet potato soup was pretty tasty plus the apple chunks gave it some crunch, so it was not a container of mush. All in all, foodwise, I will give the place another chance. Perhaps, I will pick up the order next time

If you want to eat organic or vegetarian or vegan, this place is great. One of the things I love most about Good Health is the menu is huge with a ton of different healthy options. Every time I order from there, I get something different and I am rarely ever disappointed. The chicken wraps, veggie burgers, eggplant parm, soy nuggets, etc. are all great. A lot of good appetizers to choose from and a ton of dinner options. Delivery is usually pretty quick too and since we are regulars, the staff will typically go out of their way to customize any orders based on our recommendations. The restaurant itself is small so I recommend doing takeout for this place. And finally, the prices are totally reasonable.

There are very few places I’ve ever been where I trust the menu so entirely as I do at Good Health. I have never had a single bad thing here. I’m even confident enough to order things I would ordinarily NEVER go near and am always really happy with my decision. I feel blessed to live across the street from this hole in the wall. I’m not a vegetarian but the vegetarian options here are actually really really good. Juices are great, desserts are wonderful and different, and the soups are always ridiculously awesome. Lunch specials are a great deal. The brunch prices cant be beat. Dont expect anything fancy or any amazing service if you dine in. This place is really all about the food. Delivery is usually pretty fast but sometimes they can forget small things and the prices for items on apps like Seamless tend to be more expensive than on the menu when you eat in the restaurant. Its never crowded or full inside so I try to eat at the restaurant as much as possible.

I’ve ordered delivery from here twice now. It’s pretty good. Any salmon plate I’ve ordered has been tasty and well-made. My favorite is their salmon sandwich. Avoid the chicken– dry and poorly seasoned. Cous cous salad, not bad either. I’ve tried their pumpkin pancake. The pancake itself was just okay, but it could be due to it being delivery and getting soft and damp. Still, the pumpkin spread — SUPER delicious. I wish they gave two little cartons rather than just one. I’ve tried their carrot cake– not bad. As for drinks — I’ve gotten the flu buster twice. Good both times. I’ve gotten the fresh squeezed orange juice. First time, super delicious the way only fresh squeezed juice can be, the second time– it tasted like tropicana. I don’t if it was, or they used bad oranges. Anyway, it was a little annoying since it’s over 5 dollars a cup. Overall, I would order from here regularly.

Soy Chicken Nuggets with honey mustard — great combo but the nuggets were soggy. NOTE — ask them to separate the corn chips from the burger because the chips will loose the crunch quickly! Unless you’re planning to eat it within a few minutes then it’s not a big deal. My chips were stall and soggy from the condensation of the burger. Good Health Burger Deluxe — Not good compared to the black bean bacon vegan burger. This burger tried too hard to taste good. It toppings were appealing but the burger itself not only had a chewy, weird, «what is this texture?» but it also tasted like it wanted to be fake meat but failed. Black Bean Bacon Vegan Burger — This burger is off the wall! I didn’t see or taste the veggie bacon strips, portobello and onion. I’m assuming that it’s made of those? Not sure, but it doesn’t matter because the guacamole, dairy-free sour cream and the vegan mayo bbq sauce was to die for. The sauce was so good and it made the burger so great. Blueberry Flan pie — this is basically a blueberry cheesecake. Very disappointed. I wanted flan!

Review of delivery: For relatively quick, relatively healthy delivery, this is as good as it gets. The chicken chipotle burrito is simple but perfect. And the Asian vegetable dumplings are fantastic. Nice to find a place whose ingredients I trust.

Nice little spot for vegan food choices. Even though I am a total carnivore I can get into some meatless eats now and then. Sure, they do have some fish and chicken options on the menu but it’s largely vegan dominated. We dropped in here not too long ago as it’s not too far from where I live on the UES. Kind of a small spot and a bit cramped but we scored a table. Could be a bit cleaner. Maybe a coat of paint and a little renovating would do the trick. Or wiping down the tables a bit more. No biggie as I’ve eaten in worse spots and came out alive. I was actually very impressed with the soy chicken nuggets and their homemade BBQ sauce. Nothing like McD’s chicken nuggets but pretty good. The black bean vegan burger was also pretty solid. Very reasonable prices here with many items on the menu at $ 10 and under. They even do brunch too. Surprisingly decent for a small vegetarian joint and I can see myself eating here again when craving a cleaner healthy meal.

I don’t find myself at too many vegetarian or vegan establishments, but whenever I do… I am always happily pleased with my meal. Trust me, I’m not all«anti-vegan» in the slightest. As long as there’s flavor, I welcome you. And good health has just that. Their prices are reasonable and their efficiency, quick. They truly pride themselves on taking raw, healthy ingredients and turning them into great-tasting dishes. Easily located right on 1st ave, I bundled up, braced the wind and headed out for lunch. I aimed on eating something warm like soup.(I have been on a non-stop soup kick. Cold weather side effects!) It’s a cozy area with little seating, but luckily I snatched a spot. They have on the left wall a chalkboard list of specials for the day. Don’t forget to glance at those, they have some really unique pairings up there. After some debating, I decided on: –Sweet Potato Soup with apples and rice: creamy, robust flavor with just the right balance of apples and rice. It has all the essence of fall in one bowl. –Soy Chicken Nuggets: this in particular I was very curious about. The waitress said this is a customer favorite, so I was all in. The small bites were rolled in a type of panko breading with a bunch of spice I couldn’t identify. And topped with their homemade bbq sauce. If I said it tasted exactly like other chicken nuggets, I’d be lying. However, it was very similar in taste and was equally delicious. This restores my faith in the fact that if I ever did want to go vegetarian, I could still have the flavor I desired.
