Located around the city, I decided to take a leap of fate and see how good their burgers actually are. I only really know them from the television show sitcom (which actually turned me away from going there). It was clean and lots of seating area. It’s very casual and one of those order and pick-​up types of restaurants. There’s also a flat screen in the back that’s always playing sports and some retro décor. The staff was very friendly. I can’t say they were too quick on the food, but its way better than any fast food hamburgers.
I walked in and placed my order for a double hamburger with the works. The works, meaning ketchup, mustard, tomato, lettuce, and onion. I also ordered a side of onion rings. It took awhile before I actually got my order.
Double Hamburger:
The burger was okay, nothing crazy about it. I remember picking it up, taking a bite, and having a spew of oil and grease drip down and out of the burger. It got a bit messy and disgusting, but wasn’t bad. The burger was tasty and definitely fresh. Also, it came with french fries. The french fries weren’t that bad, but tasted a bit like frozen fries. However, it was cooked in clean oil, just by looking at the color.
Onion Rings:
The Onion Rings were okay too. I found some that were still doughy and undercooked. There were others that were super crispy and oily. Overall, the onion rings were inconsistent and could have been better.
Overall my experience was okay. The food was alright, and nothing too memorable or special. The food was slightly expensive for what I got ($ 10−15pp). I would go back just for a quick bite that wouldn’t upset my stomach.

As far as burgers go, these were average. The meat was fine, the bun was a bit thin, the condiments were tasty. It was like a slimmed-​down version of Five Guys. Plus all of the All That jokes we could come up with.
By the end of the meal, the staff hated us, so that’s a plus.
I had a fountain drink, a burger and fries. I wound up sharing the fries with my boyfriend who agreed they were good, but not great. Burgers were good all the way around, but despite thin buns, my friend left part of his uneaten, as the patty didn’t cover the whole surface of the bread.
The cheese fries were fantastic until they got cold. Best part of the meal.

Solid burger joint. I had the steak chili burger and lemonade. I’d come back to try a cheeseburger, fries, and shake.
Not sure if they lowered their prices — lots of reviews about the cost. I see a burger on the menu for $ 4.13, and my specialty burger was $ 8.73.

The burgers here are good. They’re not lying with their name.
This is a pretty simple location. You waltz through the door, walk right up to the corner, and let them know how they can serve you. The staff can be hit or miss some days, though it seems like their attitude has greatly improved from days past. Within ten minutes, you will be munching away on delightful food — hopefully you’ve snatched a double good burger with some fries. They serve fries in a deliciously helpful portion so you won’t find yourself starving when you leave this place.
There’s plenty of seating in the back. I’ve come here a few times in the general lunch period (1pmish) and while there are a lot of people taking orders, not a lot of people seem to stay here. So it makes for a good spot to grab food and park inside. If you can’t find any seats — well, Central Park is right nearby, what are you waiting for? ;)
Little bit pricey for what it is. The burgers are good, not phenomenal.

Food is good…
But just because I’m still looking at the menu, and you (the staff) has had a bad day, and you are upset about your shifts, you should still speak nicely to the customers…
If you (the staff) are acting like that with the boss right next to you, how do you act when he is not around?

I saw a Goodburger just south of Central Park and I had to get one just because I remember seeing the skit from AllThat on Nickelodeon when I was a kid.
What can I say? It was a good burger. Nothing really special, but not terrible. Kind of pricey — it was $ 5.25 for a single cheeseburger. I know there are much better burger places in NYC (McGee’s had a GREAT burger!), but I had to stop and get one just for the nostalgia.

Whenever i crave for a veggie burger … this is where i come.
Its a healthy alternative ! Has a fresh veggie patty with lettuce, onions, tomatoes and a whole wheat bun … a must try !

This place has an amazing burger and chicken sandwich. Make sure you give this a shot on day you are craving a burger at lunch. I have not eaten in the establishment, but we do order it for lunch at work here and there. I have found the service for delivery is reliable and the food is very tasty and fresh. Anyone that knows me knows that burgers are one of my favorite fast foods! Sometimes I may even pass up a fancy restaurant just to go to a really good burger spot… In the case of Good Burger… ehh. Just okay.
Been here a few times and no its not the worse place for burgers, and believe me I have had some horrible burgers before but I have experienced having way better as well. And for the prices they charge I would expect better. Not to mention that at times when the place isn’t even crowded they take kind of long with the food. I mean I want a well cooked burger and all but if there is only 5 – 7 people in the place, I don’t think I should be waiting 15 – 17 minutes just for a burger and fries.
The burgers itself taste good but if you are a burger fan like I am and you happen to go here don’t expect a 7 oz. burger or anything like that. They are about the size of Wendy’s burger. There fries are good but once again I have had way better. If anything your best bet may be getting a grilled chicken sandwich because those are really good here but are overpriced.
All in all… Good burger got it partially right, just good NOT GREAT.

Food excellent. Pace of getting food? GLACIALLY, EPICLY SLOW. I can’t count how many times I have entered and left because of how long the one or two people ordering at the register were taking. I can accept a long line. But one person taking 10 minutes to order at a fast food place? Insane.
Today, it has only taken me 20 minutes to order and receive my sole veggie burger.
And of course the debit machine was broken… Cash only!
Insanity.

This place is cool, I instantly loved it b/​c of the movie, but the atmosphere is great as well. I had a single cheese burger and regular fries (I tried my friends sweet potato fries which were good) It took a little longer to get our food but all was well. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.
I only gave it 3 stars b/​c I wasn’t «wowed» by the taste but it was decent. I’d go here before I’d step foot into a McDonalds etc.

I came here for their $ 1 burger and $ 2 shake day. The line wasn’t too bad-​I counted 42 people ahead of me but it didn’t take too long to get my order.
The place is a bit small, and really clean. I must say, the bathroom is like a club on its own-​it was super loud with its techno music. Anyways.
The burger was pretty small, with an even smaller patty. It tasted a bit dry, and the bun wasn’t very soft-​but overall, it looked (probably is) and tasted healthier than your average greasy burger. I wish there were some mayo lying around, though (I only found ketchup). Alas, I want my burgers to be juicier, even if that means it’s less healthy, I just can’t help it!
The chocolate shake was pretty good :)

This is a pretty good burger for lunch! I ordered along with the burger a mint iced tea and the entire bill after tax came out to $ 10 bucks.
Not too shabby! Its a good burger, good price point for lunch but the music? Loud LOUD house music beatin’ that B tunes beat with every bite of my burger. I had to put on my headphones to drown out the loud noise.

My favorite menu items are definitely the Grilled Portobello Mushroom Sandwich (with Cabot Cheddar and Roasted Red Peppers and Basil Pesto, served on a Whole Wheat Bun) and the Onion Rings.
Also, I’ve tried the Grilled Classic Burger (cooked medium-​rare, with «the works»), the Grilled Chicken Sandwich (with «the works»), the Hot Dog (with «the works), the Crabby Patty (with Bacon), and the fries.
The food is fine, but the crowd can be rather belligerent and obnoxious.

I usually venture in this place to just get a chocolate shake (which is good) but when I had 2hrs to spare for lunch today, I decided to go for the whole shebang. I got their single burger with the works, fries and a chocolate shake and it came to nearly $ 14. It’s actually a little pricier than Shake Shack — wtf!
What I do like is that you get a lot of fries and I’m very much a fries kinda gal. Me love dem fries.

Yay, another food option around Fordham! Just discovered this today, and I was not disappointed. Fast foodey sort of place with burgers to order… what’s not to love? The burgers are really good, and there are a decent number of selections, if you’re not feeling the generic all beef patty. I also got rather large side of coleslaw for a little over a dollar. not bad at all.
I will definitely be back here.

Long waited grand opening of Good Burger in Midtown Manhattan’s Columbus Circle area is finally here!
Service is proficient immediately after my order was placed and in courteous mannerism. To my dismayal, cheese is not automatically included in a burger as it is not part of «The Works» but for $.69. «The Works» includes lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, thankfully Heniz ketchup, and mayo. Good Burger utilizes certified Hereford beef hailed from U.S.A. family-​owned farms. One classic burger at $ 5.97 to include «The Works» is priced at an utter dismay of $ 5.97 and one French Fries at $ 2.53 with NYC notorious sales tax totaled a nasty $ 10.00.
The quality of beef is okay as it’s a step above McDonald’s but extreme remote from U.S.D.A. prime as no beef manufacturer matches Allen Brothers Steaks’ quality, thus three stars. Not worth $ 10.00 for an okay burger.

This burger gave me the blues. And by blues, I don’t mean it made me sad b/​c it didn’t taste good. By blue, I mean, the color of the piece of plastic that was in the ground beef I bit into. Yup that’s right — a nice small bit of and unidentified blue piece of plastic. Other than the random inedible piece of material in my burger, it tasted good. Why, oh why did I have to look down at that moment before my bite? Ugh. Had it not been for the plastic, the burger would have gotten 3.5 stars.
The fries were pretty disgusting. Almost like McDonald’s fries but soggier and saltier.
2 stars for super friendly service. Probably won’t be returning though.
