During the Christmas holidays I purchased over $ 200 worth of merchandise from this company. I did it to give merchandise as Christmas gifts. The girl at one of their stores informed me that I’d get a gift card for every $ 50 I’d spent in their store. Immediately, this sounded like a real good deal. Well, I was never told about these gift cards having an expiration date of Jan. 2013. Very clever on the part of Godiva to deceive customers in believing they were going to get $ 10 back in a gift card only to not inform them if they didn’t use these by Jan. 2013 they’d lose it. Well, I contacted the corporate office thinking someone would treat me with respect and would acknowledge the miscommunication by the local store where I bought the merchandise and got the gift cards. I got a rude response from some lady named«Crystal» no last name via email stating I should’ve seen the expiration date on the cards. I will never, ever visit one of their stores again. They’re just like any other money-hungry company out there deceiving their customers for that mighty dollar.

Staff is great – I am a big fan of the cocolate decadence drink – it’s also cheaper than a shake at CIao bella across from them. Check the side window, they have a shelf of ½ half goods!

some of my friends felt that godiva’s totally overrated, but i truly wonder how often they eat these stuff. yes godiva is definitely unhealthy(check the ingredients on their hot chocolate tin), but because it’s so bad, it’s good. their truffles are good, their hot chocolate crazy, and blended chocolate… i have no words for that. their biscuits are really good too. but due to their high sugar content, im cutting down on it. for godiva virgins, go try them.

Exquisite chocolate. Godiva certainly knows chocolate. This Godiva store eliminates the retailer as it’s sold directly to customers. Their strawberry dipped chocolate are generous in size and are freshly hand dipped. It’s comfort food when you’ve been dumped nastly by your bf/gf or husband/wife. Chocolate is comfort food when you’re having a bad day. I’m a big fan of milk chocolate as I like the sweetness in the flavor. It pricey but so worth a once in a while splurge.

Definition of chocolate elixir: Amazing, Delicious, Yummy, Heavenly, Luscious, Instant Cheer-Upper. If you’re a chocolate lover this will be quite an experience; and if you’re not you’ll become one. Yes, is that delicious! This is the perfect treat if any of the following applies: — Brake up with your boy/girlfriend — After a nasty argument — If you are upset, sad, disappointed — You want to make a new friend/make them love you — If you want to get a raise or get promoted — If you hate your job — If you get fired — If you’re having a bad day — If you’re having a beautiful day — If you want to make your ordinary day extraordinary Actually forget about everything I said. You don’t need a reason for this one. Just try it! and treat someone to it… Trust ME.

Try the Chocolate Elixir, it’s sooooo good. If you are a chocoholic like I am, you will definitely love it. They have a couple of choices, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, etc. I tried dark decadent, the special dark chocolate elixir with chocolate syrup and whip cream. mmm~~~, heavenly.
