GNC general nutrition center

There’s nothing worse than a pushy condescending salesman, and that’s exactly what I experienced yesterday. I went in looking for a protein shake with a certain calorie content. He belittled all the choices I suggested and kept pushing the GNC brand that had double the calories I was looking for. When I finally settled on buying just 2 single serve to get me until I could find what I wanted he Insisted on me buying a case. I will reach my goal, my way. I dont need any salesman to bully me into buying what they say I need. Stay away!

Why anyone would come here instead of Natural Vitamins, which is actually an independent, locally owned vitamin & supplement store one block south of GNC, is a mystery. Well perhaps if you are allergic to cats, because Natural Vitamins has an unintrusive resident feline. Please support local businesses and tell sterile chain stores to stay out of this neighborhood.

This new GNC store is conveniently located at the corner of Manhattan ave. & Meserole Ave. in Greenpoint. I walked in looking for some vitamins that I wanted to try out as I find myself at times during my busy days, starving for some more energy for my mind and body. The clerk, Leila (hope I got it right) is sooo nice ! I told her the kind of vitamins I was looking for, I spoke to her in Spanish, because I wanted her to understand me really well, she was extremely knowledgeable into her products, she showed me a few ones that I could try and even gave me a free bottle sample of one of them :) woohoo, I got free try outs !!!
I end up buying a few different vitamins, she saved me like $ 12.00 on one month women vitamin pack that was on sale. She is the perfect sales agent, who is great and knows her products to the teeth. I am so proud to be the first one to rate this place ;) that just opened up.
