Maybe she cuts great hair; I’ll never know. Let me explain. No, that would take too long, let me sum up. I bought a Groupon. Her website didn’t include the midtown address I wanted to visit, her online appointment scheduler was not functional (I tried 3 browsers), she didn’t answer an email via her contact sheet, and she didn’t return phone calls. Groupon, fortunately, was understanding.

After finding a deal for a Keratin treatment with Gleice on Groupon and reading the reviews here, I purchased the deal and I booked an appointment on Jan 4^th using the instructions on my Groupon voucher for Feb 1, 6pm. I then texted the number on the Groupon because there were 2 different addresses listed– one on the Groupon, and a different from her website. After finding out I would have to go downtown, instead of one block from my office, she told me she had to cancel the appointment on the first because she would be out of the country. She offered to reschedule for January 13^th, and I took the appointment. I then reached out to her the morning of the 13^th and she sent me a photo off of Google (there was a mouse in the picture, clearly it was not an original photo) saying she cut her finger while rushing with a client and could not service me until Feb 20^th or after. At this time, I booked an appointment for Feb 22 (today). I have not heard from her since. I texted Gleice at 7:08 am and 12:58 pm on the alleged day of my appointment to confirm, and still no response. This is a dishonest person and not someone who has any customer service skills. Beware!

She’s great! She did a wonderful keratin treatment and she’s super knowledgeable about hair structure.

I found Gleice thanks to a Groupon from early 2014 and I’m so grateful I did! I’ve been coming to her every 3 – 4 months ever since. The keratin treatment she has is the strongest I’ve ever used… So strong I’d be carful if you are used to something lighter, my hair is now much straighter than its been with other treatments, but I’m very happy with it. So easy to style and work with. She’s also given me some of the best hair cuts of my life. Very thorough and slow so I don’t end up with too much cut off or not enough. I would highly recommend her services!
