I love coming here. It’s quiet and comfortable. No frills but they all do a very nice clean job and are always friendly and gracious. You have to walk up a flight of stairs but it’s totally worth it! The owner Gina is super friendly and quick and completely Accurate. I do live across the street which is a great bonus for me! Great prices! Also, Gina gives a great strong 10 minute massage which is a bonus! $ 1 a minute. All you really need is 10 minutes!

Great place. Quick but thorough. I came with a friend on a Saturday afternoon and we were taken care of immediately. The women were polite and the atmosphere was bright but calm. Very clean and quiet. $ 20 with tip for a pedicure. My only con is that I wish they had worked a little more on the dry skin at my heels. Highly recommend for a cheap, good pedicure!

Pedicure was only OK, very rushed hardly any foot massage which is the bit I love. Very grotty dirty place so wouldn’t go back when there are soooo many to chose from in New York.

I got: Spa pedicure Shellac manicure 10 minutes back massage All for 85 dollars which is a really great value for Manhattan. All services were well performed by quiet(hate chit chatting during my nail treatments) Gina who probably has 20+ years of experience. Loved my experience.

I got a gel manicure here and it was awful. The place is dumpy, COLD, no music and service is alright. When I was there, the two women were arguing in chinese, which i thought was rude. The day after i got the manicure, it was all cracked and chipping off. I went back the next day, they«fixed» it but it cracked again two days later. I had to go to another nail salon and have it buffered off, and my nails were really thin and ruined essentially. I will never go back here again.

Paula seems to be the woman to go to here. If you don’t get her-don’t bother. Dirty, no music, dumpy atmosphere-all around depressing experience. Not worth it. Thousands of choices of nail salons.

I just got a mani/pedi here at lunch time. There was no wait, the place was nice and cool, clean and the ladies were very friendly. $ 25 for the mani/pedi($ 22 mon-thurs). Overall I think they did a great job. Scrubbed my feet extra long compared to other places in the area. I will defiantly be coming here again… got my cute red nails ready for the hot rod car show tommorow!

I went to Gina’s Nails today around lunch time. The service was poor. The pedicure was rushed and poorly done. I then had to wait separately for the manicure. She serviced the regular customers first. Not good service.

My favorite lady in this place WAS Cindy. She was so pleasant, articulate, clean, thorough, you name it. She left with no warning! My manicure/pedicures are no longer the same. They are rushed and don’t come out nearly as nice. Looks like I’m back on the trail for a new nail salon.

This is exactly what I love about Unilocal.I found myself staring at my chipped-polish toes and stubby, bitten nails today, wondering where I could get a cheap mani/pedi over lunch break. Time was of the essence(no time to wait on lunch break!) and the price had to be cheap(in my neighborhood, a mani/pedi goes for $ 17. While I realize I’m in the city and there’s a markup for that, I didn’t want to wind up in a $ 45 – 60 joint). So I logged onto Unilocal and came across this place — less than two blocks from work, perfect! It’s $ 22 for a mani/pedi, in a clean and sterile environment, and the technician did a great, quick job. I didn’t have to wait at all, either! She repaired the damage wearing flip flops in the city causes. And my nails look so nice I’ll hopefully be inspired to not bite them for a few weeks. I’ll definitely be back again!

This place gets 3.5 stars. This is my go to spot to get my nails done now. It’s a place tucked away with great prices. Mon — Thurs. mani/pedi’s are $ 21. Normally $ 23. They use Essie nail polish. It’s very clean and there’s hardly ever a wait(I think b/c this place is not on a main street). Works for me! There are three women who work here, all nice and all do a great job. There’s not much of a massage for either the mani or pedi, but you’re also not paying for it. If you get your nails done frequently and don’t want to break the bank, this is a good option.
