I ordered through grub hub never got my order. I called the restaurant and was cussed out because they claim I put the wrong address in grub hub when it was correct. WORSTEVERCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER.

I came here for the first time today with some coworkers. We all tried the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and a Cheese(plain) Pizza. Both were delicious! Flakey crust, not heavy on the sauce, just the way I like it! Bought the 2 slices with a Snapple for $ 10. Staff is super quick and very efficient. I wouldn’t recommend to dine in if you are a big group. Restaurant appears larger in photos. Very tiny narrow space for seating but towards the back of the restaurant there is a hidden garden by the bar area that is closed off during winter season. Best for take-out or a quick bite! I’ll definitely come back!

Pizza? At midnight? If you are at garlic, then I don’t know how you’d turn that down. Besides the plain NY slice, all the other pizzas are cut in squares. Got margherita pizza and it was pretty delicious and hit the spot. Crust had substance, so it was chewy but still pretty thin. The sauce was sweeter than usual but I didn’t mind at all. It went well with the basil and mozzarella too.

Ordered on seamless at 1030am. confirmation that it will come at 1145am. Food came at 1245pm(well part of it). They forget to include the meatball parm, chicken parm, and garlic knots. I called them up because they were 2+ hours late on delivery and missing half my order. They were rude to me on the phone. This is not my first time ordering from Garlic. I love their food, dont get me wrong. I order from here at least once a week for lunch. But this time it was absurd how late the food was and how i was treated as a repeat customer. I do not want to keep this one star review but it needs to be here for now to let management know that its not right to treat customers like this. I understand you guys get a lot of business but that doesn’t mean you should slack on customer service. Customer service over good food EVERY time!

I visited this lovely establishment during lunch with a coworker and was pleasantly surprised by both the selection of pizza available and the cute interior(really woodsy/cozy). The pizza slices are deceptively filling because the squares may be mediocre in size, but the topping to base ratio is pretty much 1:1. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch and meat lovers slices and could only finish one of them. My coworker ordered tortellini(don’t ask… He had a craving) and really enjoyed it as well. I can’t speak for the bar/drinks, but do enjoy the fact that I can get a drink if I wanted. I’ve also heard there’s an outdoor patio, which I will DEFINITELY be visiting when the weather warms up! This place is also a block away from a competitor, Rockys. I do not have a preference for either, and would probably end up choosing an eatery based on what I was feeling. Rockys does the more traditional pizza slice/is more flimsy vs Garlic Pizza Bar that does the Sicilian slices/is pretty crispy. Next time I’ll def have to try the much coveted garlic truffle oil!

The pizza is pricey but it’s the neighborhood its in, sauce is on the sweeter side and the atmosphere is casual but very nice. Never order delivery… You’ll wait for a least 45 minutes if not longer. They also don’t provide condiments unless specifically asked and even then you might not get it when they arrive.

Garlic is my neighborhood pizza spot. Everything I’ve had from Garlic has been excellent. I normally take out from garlic either on the way home or have it delivered depending on the night. I have eaten at garlic once and it was alright, but I think I prefer to take out. I’ve tried various things from Garlic. My favorite is the penne alla vodka. I also happen to love the buffalo chicken pizza, which I do believe is the most popular slice at Garlic. I’ve tried the garlic knots and the eggplant parm. Everything has tasted great! The location is very central and they offer a wide variety of options. Everything is pretty reasonably priced and it’s prepared quickly. So glad Garlic is in my neighborhood!

Every time I’m in Ny I have to stop by here to eat a few times. They have the best buffalo chicken pizza I’ve ever had. The rest of their food has also been very good. The staff is nice and courtesy. Even though they may be packed and very busy they are still pretty quick about getting your order ready. If your ever in the Area of 33rd and 2nd Ave you should stop in to get real Ny style pizza.

Garlic’s slices hit a homerun last visit.yeah. Think it was called the upside down slice. Tasty garlic knots, though too much oil.

With all the pizza places to choose from in New York, I’m so glad that I found this one. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here, and I’ve already recommended it to several of my friends. The service is quick, the pizza is fantastic, and the slices and flavors are original. I ordered the sauteed eggplant pizza slice and the eggplant was so fresh, which is surprising because something like that could get soggy quickly. The mix of cheeses on their thin crust was fantastic and the crust was hard enough to hold the whole piece together without being too hard to chew. I only ordered one slice and probably could have ordered more, but I will in the future. I saw some orders of pies with 3 or 4 different types of slices in it so it’s good to know that you can order them that way. I do want to try their famous truffle oil slice as well. This is a popular lunch spot especially for people who work around the area, and it exceeded my expectations. Plus, once I see the word garlic, I feel inclined to know, and smell, more.

Place takes forever for delivery when it’s literally around the corner. Took about an hour and 20 minutes. Ridiculous. Then they forgot one order of garlic knots, no silverware/napkins, forgot the peppers and Parmesan cheese we asked for. Meh. Pizza is decent. Grandma slice is good, nothing spectacular. Standard for an NYC pizza joint. Buffalo chicken and meat lovers square pizza was legit. Really dense and filling.

Excellent pizza. Tried buffalo chicken and made my own ground beef. Both hit the spot!!!

Don’t waste your time ordering from this place. They lie about how long it will take and then lie again telling you that your food is on the way… The guy that answered the phone(Frank) was not helpful nor apologetic at all. After waiting over an hour and 45 minutes when it was suppose to be delivered in 45min the food was cold and awful! Get your stuff together or don’t do deliveries! I wanted to try this place but now have a bad taste in my mouth and won’t be giving it another try.

I really, really wanted to love Garlic New York PIzza Bar given the fast service and overly friendly atmosphere, but when it came down to the actual product I was underwhelmed. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? As I touched on perviously, the service and atmosphere at Garlic really are excellent. You’ve got friendly staff behind the counter even if it’s 0200 and you’re of questionable sobriety, and the abundant seating is more than enough if you’re not feeling like walking while eating. You pick your slice, they heat it up, and you’re good to go. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? My point of comparison for Garlic New York Pizza Bar was all time great Prince St. Pizza: , and PSP charges $ 4.00 for comparably sized square slices. My buffalo chicken slice here at Garlic was $ 4.50, but it’s worth noting that the slices were quite a bit larger than what you get over at Prince Street. While that’s obviously out of the $ 0.99 street price range that you find at low quality joints, sub-$ 5 for a better slice is worth it, as was this. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? It’s with regard to the quality of my Buffalo Chicken slice that I was pretty let down during my early(very early) morning Sunday visit to Garlic. While it was heated up in the oven for a bit, the crust, while exceptionally flavorful(I can see why their garlic knots are so popular), my crust was soft as opposed to having that satisfying crunch that are a staple of square slices. This was a letdown. The topping side of things was a further decline of sorts. While there was abundant chicken, it lacked a whole lot of flavor or spiciness and was pretty thoroughly dried out. While amazing cheese could have saved things, there really wasn’t a whole lot of that either, as you can probably tell by the picture below. No Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Some crispy crust, a better topping/cheese balance, and a means to keep thing from drying out would go a long way here. In the meantime, there are better late night pizza options in the area. No Star Granted.

It’s your typical pizza place, don’t expect a speciality thin crust with fancy flavors. The plain slice is great and the grandma slice is a must. I also recommend the fresh mozzarella slice. They’re reliable to say the least! I only order pizza from here unless it’s late night, in which case they’re usually not open.

Tasty food and a sweet bartender there that Sunday night. Pizza was delicious and the garlic knots were off the chain. Decent drinks but oddly enough the bartender wasn’t versed in their advertised drinks so I ordered something else. Kinda random that they can’t make what they’re boasting about. Who needs a drink anyhow? This is a pizza place! Pizza over everything always ;)

Delicious Pizza delivered(50 – 60 minutes). We ordered the pepperoni and pineapple 16 inch. Certainly more than enough for the two of us. The slices are large and very filling. The toppings: they pile on the cheese(which I love), which makes it a bit greasy combined with the pepperoni. The crust and bottom section of the pie was not greasy at all and had a light layer of garlic that really accented the flavor well. I can’t speak the location itself, as it was delivery.

I walked in for lunch today and they had all fresh pizzas sitting out. I got an eggplant parm slice and a grandma slice, both delicious. They just took a pie out of the oven that had vodka sauce and fresh mozzarella. I told them it looked amazing and they were kind enough to let me try a slice on the house. This is easily one of the best pizza spots in the city.

Came here and inhaled the garlic knots and dipping sauce. Hated myself afterwards, but damn, that was good. The eggplant marinara specialty slice that I got was good — a bit too doughy of a crust and too much cheese for my taste, but flavorful.

Love this place. Up there in my top 5 favorite pizza spots in Manhattan. We order takeout and go pick it up because unfortunately we live just outside their delivery zone. Our go-to is the grandma pizza. Rectangular, reasonably thick slices. Buffalo chicken and bbq chicken half half is the way to go. Really fantastic. The respective sauces are really what set it apart. Super fresh ingredients. I highly suggest this place to anybody who’s looking for some fantastic and filling pizza. Cant speak to their delivery but take out its really the most satisfying pizza in the area. I plan to actually dine in some time soon because they have a cool looking bar in the back.
