I’m at this location quite a bit since they closed the Gap where I live. This location is near Penn Station so whenever I’m in Manhattan I run in to try and grab things I might not find else where. The location is fairly large with 2 floors and shops that are mostly well kept. Because it’s in tourists central the lines can be very long but moves quickly. Women is on the 1st floor and merchandise is usually beautifully displayed and is always the newest release. Because of that this store turns over stock quickly. Grab while your there because it won’t be there for long. They have a huge sale section where items are usually 40−60% marked down. Unfortunately the area is a mess. Things sent really well sorted and it can be frustrating trying to find things with people all over you. If you’re able to endure, you’ll find its worth it. This location also tend to have a lot of seasonal shoes more so than others. If registers are hectic upstairs, slip down to the basement and check out in the children’s dept. Good stock Good prices Great staff They’re alright with me.

WORSTGAPEVER. No matter what time of day or night you come here and whether you need to purchase 1 thing or 20 things you will be in line for at least an hour. OR2. It’s the worst. NOSTARS.

Great Gap location in the heart of Herald Square! This store offers two levels of shopping fun for Men, Women and Kids. Every department has it’s own sales and clearance section, how could anyone be disappointed. Unfortunately there is always a line for the fitting rooms and at checkout but trust me when I say, the lines move quickly! I find the employees to be very helpful, always available to answer questions and to assist you whenever needed. I find the clothes to be a little bit overpriced which is why I only shop at the Gap during special sales. This weekend select items were 40% off!
