I thought Fusia would be a good dinner option as it was close to my eye doctor. The food tastes a bit plain, it hasnt got any kick to it. Tom yum soup was a disappointment, I have had this dish at so many Asian restaurants and this was not impressive. Fried rice tastes better at my local Queens Thai joint. I do appreciate seeing a semi-fancy Asian place without crazy midtown prices, but food could be so much better and why does it feel so sterile in Fusia?! There is no music playing and when the restaurant is less than half full for an early dinner it just feels awkward. Seriously, if you crave tasty and affordable Thai dishes, take the subway out to one of the boroughs instead.

The relationship between the quality and price was awful, we paid $ 40 per person and just eat rice, spring rolls and shrimps. The shrimps prices was $ 21 more or less and we ate just 6, the spring rolls were the same as the ones that I can buy in the Stop and Shop and the rice under the average. The worst think is that the waitress was very impolite because we didn´t leave a good tip and he confront us very rude and telling us that we cannot come back to the restaurant creating a very stressed situation and, for sure, we are not going to visit again this shameful restaurant!

I’ve never had a bad meal at Fusia. The staff are extremely friendly, they know what customer service is all about. Lunch time is usually busy so get there early. I’ve enjoyed their pad thai, sushi, and their malaysian chicken curry soup is delicious. Their prices are a little higher than other Asian places in the area, BUT you can taste the difference in quality of ingredients. Their jerk beef appetizer is also yummy!

I have been coming here since the day they open and I eat here or take out at least once a week. The food is very good, The service is excellent! My only disappointment is that they are close on Sundays. I recommend this place !

More like 3.5 stars. Got take out here. Service was really excellent, and their candied walnuts are great too. Food was just okay — had the tom yam soup and a some vegetable dumplings. Vegetable dumplings were good, but tom yam soup was just okay — not that much seafood, decent flavor. Would love to try more things on their menu — that might bump it up to 4 stars!

I can’t begin this review without first stating that this restaurant, besides having amazing food, has exceptional service. The staff is so friendly and provide such dedicated attention to all of their customers. The sushi is made fresh and is absolutely delicious. I highly suggest ordering their unique and signature Fusia Roll. Add a side of spicy mayo to give it some extra kick. The sushi masters definitely treat sushi-making as an art. Some of the food selections may be on the pricier side, but if you’re willing to spend a little more for quality, this restaurant does not disappoint. The ambiance is so serene, with muted lighting — it’s perfect for a date or for two friends that are catching up.

Don’t let the casual almost divey appearance deter you. This place ROCKS as far as asian fusion. They literally have a bit of everything from Japanese to Chinese to Thai. I went on valentine’s day with a friend because we wanted to avoid the crowds and we were pleasantly surprise. The staff is super helpful, fast, and accommodating to your needs. Here’s a list of all the fab food we ordered in order of its awesomeness: 1) Tom Yum Soup. yuuuum! The Shrimp Wonton is good too but not quite as good 2) Green Curry 3) Thai Fried Rice 4) Lemon Salmon Roll 5) jalapeño Sashami It’s so difficult to decide what you want to eat here because the menu is huge. We even had a really nice cold sake. It’s pretty common NY prices… so not cheap but affordable for the city. You can get carry out too as we saw several people doing that while we were dining. If you want a no hassle, casual, asian food spot with a bit of something for everyone, I recommend this place.

The service was fast and the staff was friendly. I ordered 3 sushi rolls, edamane and miso. The sushi didn’t taste right. I didn’t get sick but I don’t think I’ll eat sushi from this place again. On the other hand the edamame and miso soup were very good. I heard that Thai food is good here, maybe I’ll give it a try next time I’m around. It’s nicely decorated and plays music low enough to have a good conversation.

I haven’t been here in years but wanted a quiet sit down place without the midtown prices. The appetizers and entrees are all the same as the lunch menu but just a little more pricer. I met a few friends here since it is close to 59th street and takes reservations. We ordered fried items from the appetizer menu like coconut shrimp, crab cakes and spring rolls. Our entrees included curry chicken and two pad thais. They were enjoyable but not to write home to. The dishes were decent. The pad thai was a lot sweeter than I like it too be but still good. There were maybe like 6 beers in total and we all get ice cream. However the ice cream had frozen burn and a weird after taste. It was probably in the freezer too long so I skip their frozen desserts in the future. Still an affordable night at $ 50 pp

Food is good and fast service for those going on a lunch break. Which they had more drinks in their menu.

Unilocalers, you let me down. Went to dinner here this past Monday. I was astonished at how expensive everything was, but with two friends joining, and little time for a Plan B, I stayed put. The restaurant, bathrooms, and menus were dirty, and falling apart. My menu was actually being held together by masking tape. Granted, with four stars, I guessed the food must be sensational. Which brings me to the food: I had a Dragon Roll, and some Vegetable dumplings. With the exception of a couple of fishy bites in my roll, I found everything to be, standard, but not noteworthy. That said, the service was quite nice. Both of the servers who waited on us were great, however with the cleanliness and appearance of the space itself, I don’t recommend dining in here. You can get sushi that is, at minimum, as good for $ 1 less per roll just a few blocks away.

I really like the food here but my problem is with the delivery timing for my lunch orders. There is a wide range of unpredictable delivery times that my food will arrive by when I order from them. Could be anywhere from 40 minutes to an 80 minutes(!!) for a standard lunch dish and I’m talking about placing an 11am order, right at their open. I think I am all of 5 short verticle blocks away from them so I really don’t understand why their lunchtime deliver service is so inconsistent. I’m sure that within the hour and 20 minutes it takes them to prepare and deliver my order, I could actually walk to the restaurant myself, sit down and eat lunch there and get back to my office before my delivery would come.

My girlfriend and I went here to enjoy a nice dinner on Thursday evening. Started off with the Tom Yum soup which was excellent and very flavorful. Next, we ordered the jalapeño yellowtail appetizer which was incredible. It had beautiful presentation and tasted just as good as it looked! We shared a sushi and sashimi platter which was very tasteful. Somehow between the large saki and all of this food we decided to go for dessert as well. I originally ordered the green tea mochi but unfortunately they were out. This made my girlfriend happy because she loves mango and that was the mochi we ordered. It was presented well and a very tasty ice cream. Our waiter was excellent and made sure we did not seem rushed even though we were at the restaurant near closing time. I will be returning for a second time.

I was brought here by a colleague and I was not impressed. Surely there are better places in Midtown for Asian food. Avoid this place, especially if you are paying. I ordered sushi, a big bowl of udon and some spring rolls. The udon was tasteless and 99% noodles. The spring rolls were greasy and non-remarkable. The sushi was OK. Service was good. I would not return.

Came in since we had some business nearby and the Unilocal reviews were pretty good. I wish I had just ordered the non-sushi items because the review would be so much more positive. The dumplings, spring rolls and thai ginger fried rice were all quite good. Fresh and hot out of the kitchen. Yum! And good service overall bringing over lots of water and fresh plates. But the sushi. Not sure what to make of it. Some of it was fine. The roll with spicy tuna was well done and delicious. Big too. The tuna sushi was not good. No, I didn’t get sick from it, but it had a strange texture and didn’t taste great. A dining partner came to that same independent conclusion. And once that happens, the rest of the fish becomes less desireable. Was it not fresh? Who knows. But GREAT sushi places never let this happen. So, was it a fluke(the circumstance, not the fish)? Perhaps. But next time I go I’ll stick with the Asian food and leave the sushi to better experts.

Super affordable and speedy take-out! Got a take-out order with enough food to feed 2 – 3 people for around $ 27(tip included): Green papaya salad($ 6.00) — super interesting, and filling Chicken Pad Thai($ 13.50) — awesome Bottled Water($ 2.50) Free edamame/snap peas with your meal.

Feels really homey and welcoming coming here. The décor reminds me of eating in my own living room. The wait staff and who I’m assuming is the owner is super friendly from the moment you come in to the second you leave. Tried the crabmeat spring rolls since all the reviews said they were great but they were my least favorite. Calamari is really good. Pad Thai is amazing. Full of flavor. And I usually get tired of pad Thai mid dish, I finished this one. Green curry was a bit disappointing. Jalepeno sashimi was delicious. The sauce was light and complimented the sashimi. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. Overall, I’d come back or recommend to a friend.

Très bonne surprise. Le service est agréable, les plats sont copieux et très bien présentés. J’ai personnellement testé le «Chow Fun» et je n’ai pas été déçu. Bref, rien à dire, que du positif !

This is a gem of a restaurant. I was treated like a princess from the moment I entered the door. I was waiting for my friend and had a few minutes to observe how the staff operates — they are superb and very attentive to the guests. I was here four days ago with a friend, on a Monday night for dinner. The place is semi-packed, but that did not affect my service or I didn’t notice. I ordered the hot green tea to start while waiting for my friend to arrive, I was delighted that it was poured for me into the cup. I do not recall eating at any Asian restaur

I went just before lunchtime on a weekday and it was really good. The server was very nice and patient. She answered all of my questions. The food was prepared quickly and tasted great. The Pad Thai was very good and the sprouts were noticeably fresh. The Miso Soup was more satisfying than other restaurants; I’m not sure what was so different about it though.
