Best drinks around town! The other carts are nothing compared to this one and they always have fresh ingredients! Always feel at home when I’m here

Honestly my favorite — they use all fresh fruits and they charge probably the cheapest you can get in the area. The family is awesome, they’re quick also.

I was addicted to this fruit cart for its fruit salads but I’ve quickly come to realize that they are cheaper for a reason. They always intentionally create an uneven mix of fruits so you get the most of the cheapest ingredients– would’ve been so much nicer to have more balance. Their fruits are sometimes sweet and sometimes sour, it’s been a hit or miss. I think I will consider cutting my own fruit and bring it to work now.

What a cheap and fast way to feel healthy after devouring the salty yet amazing foods in NYC.

A mom and pop fruit smoothie cart… no joke. 2 chinese folks man this fruit and smoothie cart and you should order by the # on the menu, since asking for a «Mambo»(mango, strawberry and pineapple) smoothie registers a response of «What NUMBA?!?». The smoothie was good and at $ 3 for a 16 oz, more than reasonable. When you see your shake in the window, it means you take it and drink some and then they will fill the rest of your cup with what’s left in the blender. You always get extra!

When I’ve had a bad eating week or need a fruity pick me up, the fruit salad and smoothie cart is my best friend. Run by a husband and wife team, they try to move the line as quickly as they can during the pre 9:00 am rush and lunch rush. I love that instead of throwing out extra smoothie, they make you chug the excess on the spot so there’s no waste. These are my kind of people x3 The prices are amazing and the fruit quality is phenomenal. My smoothies are delicious, with not too much fiber, and naturally sweetened with copious banana.(Hence why a lot of smoothies have banana automatically in them). I don’t think they add ice to smoothies, so they’re thick and purée like rather than watery. The fruit salads are huge, and big on melons. A large fruit salad is actually TOO much fruit salad in my opinion! Cash only(duh) and I also wish they had a tip jar.

Love this place! I never would have stopped here had I not read the raving reviews on Unilocal. This little cart is run by a husband and wife team. The prices are insanely cheap for what you’re getting: $ 3 for a medium smoothie and $ 2.50 for a «small» fruit salad(which is actually plenty of fruit for 1 person). I get this for lunch 1 – 2 times a week when I’m trying to be healthy and avoid Chipotle… The smoothies are delicious and you can see that they’re using fresh ingredients. The line gets long during the lunch rush, but it moves pretty quickly and it’s definitely worth the wait!

I really liked this place. I got myself a small smoothie($ 2,50) and a fruit salad. Both were incredibly delicious. I had to wait quite a long time in line, however the wait, and the money left here was worth it. The smoothie was great, very refreshing and delicious. And the fruits were super fresh and yummy. I will be back again for sure.

Excellent selection of juices and smoothies right downstairs where I work. #32 with papaya, cantelope, pineapple and spinach is delicious and super healthy! No sugar. Just a little bit ice. Great lunch alternative, as it is filling.

I work one block away and have walked passed this place a thousand times and never looked to stop. I just bought a juicer for home and just started getting into it. I hope this little stand stays around for as long as I’ve been looking at it. Hugh selection of juices, smoothies and fruit plates!!! I got the 24oz #36 which has cucumber, kale, apples, lemon and celery. Cost is $ 5.50 and I don’t think I can make this at he for that price. Very Tasty!!! Into juice visit this place.

Thank you Fruit Stand for giving me a legitimate and affordable excuse to eat nothin’ but fruit for lunch. You are a cheap and magical godsend and institution on the otherwise dreary intersection of 47th and Park. Shakes are amazing but their LARGEFRUITSALAD at $ 3.50 is where it’s at. Absurdly large and loaded with mangoes, papaya, apples, watermelon, strawberries, bananas, it is how I get my vitamin C during busy workdays because one harsh truth about growing up is that you can never remember to get enough fresh fruit in a day. Super mad props to the lovely couple that runs this shop in freezing temperatures or the dead sticky heat of the NY summer, I heard them once say they needed to wake up at 2am every day to get their cart up and running by the time I pass by at work. I have no idea how they weather through the weathers in their little cart! Fair caution there is ALWAYS a wait, especially during morning hours, but so worth it if the line is at or less than 5 persons deep.

Thank u fruit cart for providing me with a super serving of fruits and veggies for half of what I would have spent at any other place! Seriously! One street away a CUP of fruits is $ 3.75. What can u get at the fruit cart for $ 3.75? A HUGE custom fruit salad and a quarter. :)

My favorite juice/fruit place ever. I just had to hunt it down on Unilocal to write them a review. This mom and pop fruit cart truck is the bomb. The couple the runs it are such sweet hearts. My friend got a huge large-size fruit drink for only $ 4 and it had absolutely no fillers in it at all. Only pure fruity and natural goodness. I got a small fruit cup for only $ 2.50 and it turned out to be huge. I could have eaten it for a meal. So fresh and delicious. My friend said they should have a tip jar because we were so happy with this cart we wanted to pay them more. lol

I am big fan of this place. I got a large beet, carrot, apple, grapes, celery, and spinach. Yeah go nutrients! This was so delicious and refreshing. The owner was so nice here. I spent time browsing the rest of the menu and admired the evenly cut fruit in clean containers. I like that and Highly recommended!

Ordered: — A large #36 Dia-veggie(spinach, cucumber, broccoli, bitter melon, kale, lemon, apple). I’m reading reviews saying it’s $ 4, but the cart I went to was selling the large for $ 4.50. Verdict: Oh. My. Goodness. This was so delicious and refreshing(kind of like a sugar free and nutrient packed green lemonade) and I’m so glad I decided to order this instead of a bag of doughnuts I had originally planned on buying. It takes some time for the juice to get made, but I didn’t mind since I spent time browsing the rest of the menu and admired the evenly cut fruit in clean containers. Highly recommended!

Why pay $ 8 for a small, tiny juice elsewhere when you can come to this cute Vietnamese couple making smoothies in their little cart and get a large for $ 4?! That’s like asking«do you like getting ripped off?» The line here is always long, but it’s worth the wait. You don’t have to order from the menu, just let them know what kind of fruits you like and they’ll make it for you. I got the #11 though and it was delicious. One sip of these all fruit smoothies and it feels like you’re walking on sunshine, literally, the birds are chirping and the sun in smiling at you — just makes you feel good.

These people are bananas. They use TOO much bananas. But I like it. I don’t know if they have a fascination with bananas as 95% of their menu is made up of bananas, but I’m starting to hate bananas. I don’t think I like the word, too – it’s kind of dangerous. I can’t say that I’ve fallen into the fangirl hole but it’s either a hit or miss. When you find that perfect smoothie, hold on to that one because you might not like what you’ll sip next. I usually go to the 50th&6th location, which is strangely 50 cents higher than this but the smoothies are the same; same people, same menu. I really like the Sun Shake but I’m not crazy about it, or any of the smoothies, as a matter of fact. If you’re not a fan of strong-tasting vegetable juices, I’m WARNING you not to get the health juice – it is beyond gross and I had to toss the thing out after 3 smothering sips; a orange-red drink with a strong celery taste, doesn’t taste one bit like the apples or grapes that are supposed to be in there. Melon shake, don’t even bother – especially if it’s with ice. you will see the half of the cup filled with water and don’t get the Moon Shake because it tastes like bananas and some mysterious herb. It makes me sad to write this review but I guess I should really go back to Jamba or get the fruit salads.

Small smoothie for $ 2.5, medium for 3, and large for $ 3.50 Really long line, I waited for 20 minutes with 5 people in front of me, but the smoothie was worth it! One thing that was weird but ended up kind of endearing is the fact that they hand you a cup with ¾ filled up and for you to drink it down to ½ of the cup right there, then they fill up the rest of the cup. This is because they may make too much of it and it would overflow. The fruit is super fresh, I highly recommend it for a healthy meal/snack.
