DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE SCAMS! I bought 3 pairs of shoes, loved 1 pair and returned 2. No refund was returned for the 2 sent back. I called the company and they said they did not receive the box but re tracked what they said when I mentioned that I have a tracking number showing you have received my return. I called my credit card co. to check on the refund and no refund was sent when I spoke to them ⁹⁄₃₀. But I checked again and they finally refunded me for 1 pair 20 days later! I also changed my dispute amount with my c.c. company for 1 pair of shoes instead of 2. hopefully they will find that this company are thieves. I called French Sole. again for the second pair refund and they said it was only 1 pair returned which was not true. The employee said his colleague only opened the box with one return.(I sent back 2 pairs of shoes.) This person who works the online services is despicable. I looked into the Better Business Bureau which explains it. They are not accredited. I tried to copy and paste a portion of it below. Lesson learned. READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY!

I can’t believe that I made the same mistake as other people. Ordering online from this store is a nightmare. I ordered a pair of shoes for my daughter and paid for next day delivery. A week later I called and they said, «Oh, I don’t know why they didn’t go out.» Got them, they didn’t fit and sent them back. No acknowledgement, no credit a week later. I called and they said. «We can’t find a record that they arrived.» Luckily I had my tracking number — they had arrived a week earlier. UGH!
And now, they have finally gotten back to me and said they will issue a partial credit because the shoes looked worn. My daughter literally took them out of the box, tried them on, they didn’t fit, I took them to the UPS story and sent them back. I am sure that my credit card will stand by me and get me a full credit. This is just no way to do business and I will NEVER buy from French Sole again.

Terrible business ethics and customer support! I got 2 pairs from French Sole and wore one pair for a few hours before the shiny outside already wore off and looked terrible. I tried to return both pairs (the one worn pair and the unworn pair) and they refused. After many rude responses, they finally said I can only exchange. I shipped the shoes back to them, but they haven’t sent back my exchanges or given me a refund! It has been weeks and I still haven’t heard anything. I paid so much $$ for these pricey pairs and now I have nothing! I wish they would do the right thing and give the customer a refund.

I bought quite a few of French sole ballet flats when I lived in London as they were quite in vogue there a few years ago, and I generally like ballet flats. That being said, I don’t find them the most comfortable of shoes, and their sizing is all over the place. I hate being told to buy something super-​tight because it will stretch out– I want it to fit now!
Why must there be a discomfort level while trying to get a shoe to adjust to my foot?
Anyways, i always found their USA store prices quite high, and the salespeople in this store need a lesson in customer service. It’s true they act like you are disturbing them from some intense activity even when there is nobody else in the store. If you are ever in London, the prices are much better, and the salespeople much friendlier.

Not sure why this store has such low reviews. I thought this store was a major score. In fact, I bought the shoes for my wedding here!
This store is a flats kinda girl’s heaven. They have professional styles, quirky styles, and generally very versatile options. There are also a lot of staff members waiting to help. I just wish the store was a bit larger!

I love the similar LA store LONDON SOLE, so i was really excited to shop here. There is the regular and the outlet across the street.
So, the girls that worked at the shop were careless and I felt I was interrupting their rest. I was so disappointed and left without buying anything…
Since it’s a small shop I expect good service and being promptly helped (no I’m not anal, but if I want to go to bargain and no service shops I’ll head to century 21).

I saw and ad in New York Magazine for a HUGE sale at French Sole with shoes up to 80% off. Anytime I see a sale where I’m saving over 60%, its usually too good to be true. I went to the UES anyway, and was very disappointed.
French Soles specializes in ballet flats and their «sale» had shoes for $ 99…I’m sorry, what kind of sale is that… and where are your 80% off shoes? Their selection is pretty diverse and if they don’t have the shoe in one store, they might have it in the store across the street.
Go to Hollywould for your ballet flats instead — they’re more comfortable, anyway!

actually, i don’t like high heels because just. i don’t know, i’m just a flat-​shoes lover, so when i came across this shop, i was like. wow!
it is my dream shoe-​store. moreover, the owner of the shop. she is so amazing~ she is very helpful. cuz i have huge feet and i want them look small, i tried to buy smaller size than actual my feet size., bu t i couldn’t at the shop cuz she was so strict about buying not right size one. so now. my feet in their shoes is more comfortable than ever :)
