One of the worst customer service experiences. We called and asked if the store could replace my watch battery. They said yes, come on in! We got there(after commuting for a half an hour) and they said that they could fix it, but there was a high chance, they would break my watch. After they said, «yes we can fix it!“They proceeded to be the rudest associates.

Walked in and found the bag I wanted. Even though I didn’t purchase it(because I couldn’t get it back to Dallas) Chris was extremely helpful. Thanks and keep up the good work! I’ll be back

For a store on Fifth Ave, the staff are pretty helpful. I just don’t like their branding… the key hole and key on everything? Also, I think its a bit on the pricey side for a casual national brand with styles bordering on unsophisticated. The watches are nice, but the bags, a little too pedestrian for my tastes.

I was visiting the area and wanted to get a gift. I knew what I wanted and, having purchased Fossil watches before, I knew I wanted to go to Fossil. I found this location easily. The store is attractive and sleek, with a variety of other accessories, such as purses and sunglasses. The clerk who assisted me was very helpful and pleasant. After looking at several options, I chose a watch and she quickly rang me up. The only thing I would like to see Fossil do differently is to offer a slightly more appealing gift packaging option. The tin cans are nice enough, but I think there’s room for improvement, especially for their fancier products meant for bigger occasions.

I’ve been out of college a good four years now, part of the adult world and all. And yet, something was missing. Something… on my wrist. Oh, a watch. Seriously, I’ve never worn a watch. I decided it was finally time to get my ish together, be a big girl and buy a watch. Here’s the deal. I’m a funny shopper in that I know what I want, but can never find it. I love the bling/glitter, but i also love simplicity. I know, contradicting, but such a thing exists – the proof is in my brand new, BANGIN’ watch! I asked to see one watch, and the sales guy was super nice. It was too plain, and I described to him what I wanted. He said he didn’t think there was one in the display case where we were standing, but to check on the other walls. So, I met with another sales guy and described what I wanted. He found a couple, and then, he spotted it! The watch that was meant for me. The face was big and sparkley, the wristband white and leather. The price was just right! The lady at the counter who rung me up was sweet as pie, and I went home happy and feeling all grown up with my sweet watch!

Was just running in to pick up a band for one of the fossil watch faces that i had purchased from another one of their locations. the Caucasian lady with short somewhat curly hair was not very pleasant, nor was she helpful at all. She didn’t even look for what i was asking for, she just kept saying«no…we don’t have it» without even looking. I was kind of surprised, i expected better service from a fifth ave location. you get 1 star for poor service, and after having been to three of your locations, I found out Fossil’s supply to their stores and shipments are quite disorganized. The stores never know what they’re going to be stocked up with or getting in the next shipment. Which if you ask me… is inefficient and poor business policy… moreover, ESPECIALLY, since not all of items are available on the Fossil website to purchase. i own a number of Fossil watches, granted they aren’t the best of my collection, they are«fun». but i think after i find this band, it will be a long time before i ever look or recommend anything from Fossil.

Fossil watches look good and are reasonably priced — But, after you pay for it – IF a problem arises(which did in my case) — you are scre*#ed. First their staff is nice but knows absolutely nothing about how their own system works. Second their ‘warranty’ involves a repair service(in Texas) and when you have to send it via fossil — from nyc it took TWOWEEKS to arrive and two weeks for someone to look at it. Then I was promised repair quickly(it didn’t happen), then I was told(much later) that I was getting a new watch and it was being mailed out the next day?! Then I followed up to get a tracking number and was told I not only wasn’t getting a new watch but my watch STILLHADNOT been looked at!!! Finally I got my ‘irish-up’ and slowly it was repaired and then mailed out — at a charge of $ 8.50 for mailing that was sent US postal and took a full week to arrive in a plain bubble envelope marked $ 1.25 postage. I want everyone to know that buying a fossil watch should be secondary to any main or necessary watch and Metro Service Center(their repair service) is TERRIBLE without apology — just terrible.

On the contrary to these semi negative reviews my experience was pleasant. I wanted a leather watch and the manager, a tall Korean/Lithuanian woman was more than helpful. She tried to accommodate my exact need and spent about 30 minutes with me. I definitely think they have great customer service. If you complain that«annoying staff feel compelled to say hello» I know you’re probably the type that would complain when they don’t say hello. Would you rather go to a watch store and have staff be compelled to ignore you???

I love watches, I mean… I love them like Afghanistan loves peace. I stopped into the Fossil store today because again… I’m attracted to watches like flies to shit. Although I think some of their watches look great, I just can’t justify paying so little for a watch because I’m a sick bastard who prefers to spend thousands and thousands on a watch, then look at my Blackberry for time since I can’t see my expensive watch in the dark. Life is complicated.

In contrast to my battery-changing experience at the Swatch store, I was disappointed in Fossil. Battery changes are $ 10/watch and performed overnight, necessitating a second trip to the store.(Swatch is $ 8/watch done in five minutes, and with a free polishing, too!) Fossil watches are pretty cool though, and they have a good selection of wallets and bags, too. I wonder if I can get my Fossil batteries changed at the Swatch store?

Not a huge fan of their watches, but they have cool bags and belts. However, the midtown location is *super annoying* — between the confused tourists and the annoying staff(they feel compelled to say HELLO!!! to everyone in a very annoying way, and then annoy you while you shop). go to a different location.
