Also known as Noodle Q. Eh, nothing special. Usual noodle soup shop. Get a lot of noodles and a decent amount of meat but nothing memorable. Won’t be going back unless someone brings me. They are fast though, so I’ll give them that.

This small restaurant calls out perfection if you want some cheap, delicious, hand pulled noodles. The food here is really good. I liked everything about the noodles, the texture, the meat that came with it, and the soup base. The waiter was pretty nice. He looks like he takes his job pretty seriously. The only reason they lose one star from me is because I coincidentally saw something I didn’t like… it was very tiny but as someone who really can’t handle such things, it scared me. I wouldn’t necessarily question whether or not the place is sanitary as it is located in Chinatown. I feel like its something that is unavoidable there. But yes, I would come here again(hopefully no more scares though) and I still do recommend ya’ll to try this little place(:

Delicious hand pulled noodles made in an instant. Service is quick and great. Noodles are made just the same. Gem in the corner of Chinatown. Very few restaurants like this which makes this even better. Definitely a must try when you visit Chinatown! Space is clean with ample seating. Digs are nothing fancy but enough to make you hungry. Try the fishball noodles!

This place deserved a 10 out of 5 stars. I dream about going there in my sleep. The noodles are hand pulled so evenly that you might think they were not hand pulled. The pieces of beef are so juicy and tender. The broth is just hot enough and you can taste the beef they used to cook it. This place beats any Chinese hand-pulled places in all the boroughs and all the Japanese ramen places. Order the beef hand-pulled noodles!

Ordered a hand-pulled noodle this afternoon, it was not bad after all. The noodle is chewy and the broth is tasty, also the service is quick. I have had many experiences in different hand-pulled noodle places, so far I only like two places the most one is Food Shing, the other one is Super taste. I like both broth and noodle. Somewhat I think they could be a little bit over-prices considered the ingredients. But would still come back whenever I feel like.

I eat here all the time after work. Consistently delicious and satisfying. Try the fantastic Fozhou wonton soup for $ 2.50.

Not too bad, came here for their noodle soups. This was my first time having this type of noodle soup. The flavors were strong and different at first but once I got use to it, it became pretty good. The broth was dark and strong, the noodles and meat accompanied the broth quite well, and everything came together quiet well. It’s a pretty hearty noodle soup. It was cheap as well, definitely worth the 5 or so dollars. *note– I was tipsy when I ate here, so things could or could not have been as good as I thought. Review might not be accurate*

I like to eat when i’m bored. When i’m in the area and have nothing to do, i’ll plop myself down here and order myself a han pulled noodle(beef, beef stew, oxtail) with fried egg and cilantro. I leave full and satisfied each time. Its quick, inexpensive, and tasty. The menu is simple and straightforward. Its okay if you dont speak chinese, pointing is accepted here.

Very under-rated noodles place. I first came here looking for«Tasty Hand-Pulled Noodles» and thought this was it. It wasn’t, and I’m glad. I’ve been coming back and trying new dishes every time, and haven’t been disappointed yet. Their hand-pulled noodles are excellent! The noodles are nicely made and cooked to perfection. Not too soft, but not crunchy hard either. Very clear broth with clean flavors. The beef(their main thing) is also very flavorful and yummy. The servers are very nice, but one of them doesn’t speak English very well. Took me several tries to get her to understand what I wanted. I went to Tasty Hand-Pulled Noodles afterwards and hated their noodles. Too mushy and bland. Tip: Order anything and ask for extra beef($ 2). Worth it.

I was quite suspicious when I saw this place but my parents were curious enough to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise! The price was unbeatable and the quality was solid. Besides the common hand-pulled noodles, you can get authentic Fuzhou dishes such as lamb stomach rice noodles(Lao hua) and Fuzhou wonton(bien rou). Also I enjoyed their noodles mixed with sweet peanut sauce. They serve no water or tea but the staff were attentive. I was satisfied and even my super picky parents considered it legit.

Solid, if not particularly inspiring, hand-pulled noodle soups. I tried the house special with tripe, beef, beef stew, pork chop, and fried egg($ 7). The broth, which contains spinach, scallions, and mustard greens[1], was flavorful and cloudy; if you prefer clear broth this is probably not for you. The noodles were thin and chewy, and nicely separated. Even though there are several noodle options, hand-pulled noodles only come in one size. Moreover, you don’t see them making the noodles, which for me is always part of the fun of eating hand-pulled noodles. The beef stew, tripe, and beef ingredients were good, while the pork chop lacked in flavor and was rather hard. Even though prices are still low, the soups are on average slightly more expensive than at other places in Chinatown. I think the 3.5 star Unilocal rating is about right. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - [1] Not nearly enough; next time I would definitely ask to get some extra mustard greens. I love mustard greens.

Dinner for $ 6! First comment my friend made was that this place was very clean and I absolutely agree. Place definitely keeps the appearances of a clean and organized facility. Noodle soup comes within 5 minutes so I deem this as fast food. I ordered an Ox Tail soup with Hand-pulled noodles. You are able to choose amongst a variety of noodles(lo mein, wonton noodles, and hand-pulled noodles are some options). Soup Base: Excellent! Packed with the necessary spices. The soup base had a lot to offer. Hand-pulled noodles: Looked like the size of linguine to me. I prefer thickier ones. I mean, they are hand-pulled, correct? How can any chef, as experienced as they can be, made hand-pulled noodles that are the size of pasta made from machine? Nonetheless, when I tried the noodles, I was still sold. Noodles were chewy to the touch, as if freshly-made. I had no objections at that point as I savor my bowl of noodles. Definitely a sure-win in my books. Cheap, fast, clean, with delicious food, and good service; I’ll be coming back again!

unfortunately my taste buds must have been scraped off because i had beef nom noodles and i did not taste any of the tastiness that everyone else previous my review had. i came here as a friend recommended it and thought i’d like it. it was only MEH. the broth was decent, but to me it was like they forgot the MSG?! MSG is good for your health now folks! throw some in there! the place is clean but i was a little confused at whether we were going to be served by a waiter or not?! the peanut noodles were solid though pricier than most places, so i’d much rather take my money elsewhere because its not worth it.

Food sing delivers good value. While you can get noodles for $ 6 in Chinatown, not many are freshly made. Also they are clean. You can see the kitchen from the outside. If you see some of the other kitchens in Chinatown, you might never want to eat there. Most Asians get the beef, beef tendon, seafood or vegetarian. I usually also get a plate of steam dumplings for $ 3.50. That is also good. When you eat the noodles and dumplings with the hot oil and the vinegar soy sauce, it is a delight. Most the Chinese don’t leave tip. I leave something for the servers.

Summary: I was so hungry and I just picked the nearest restaurant near the dentist. It said telecommunication on one side and Food Sing on the other. Does this place have food and phones together? I gave it a try and ordered ox tail dry noodles and peanut sauce noodles. They were both good. The peanut noodles were a little too salty. The ox tail soup tasted like it’s made at home. The noodles were smooth and easy to digest. The peanut noodles were really long. It was good food in total! Rating: 7⁄10

Delicious noodles and friendly service. At $ 5 — $ 6 they’re a great deal. I was the only Caucasian there around lunchtime which is always a good sign. Highly recommended.

Best Chinese hand-pulled noodles in Chinatown. Traditional Fujianese style noodles. Get the house special noodles and ask for cilantro(xiang cai) and/or pickled veggies(suan cai). Mostly Chinese speaking here, so make sure you bring a Chinese friend. Vinegar is good with noodle soups. Oh yeah, it’s cheap Chinatown prices too.

Super cheap!!! and I have to give it 3.5 stars. A little Fukinese girl once introduced me to the world of Fukinese cuisine and among other highly estranged and exotic foods… and this tiny restaurant(and surprisingly CLEAN) offers hand-pulled noodles freshly made. Everything on the menu contained mostly beef, lamb, or some other bodily unknown meat eats… so I can only speak for the seafood hand-pulled noodles ordered. The texture of the noodles reminded me of buckwheat… kind of cross over between soba and udon maybe? Interestingly good of course. There was too much of it, and I can only eat noodles so much. The seafood was plentiful! Two oysters, shrimp, fish balls and very very very delicate calamari. The calamari won me over… it was so tender! The broth was very light … so light I was afraid to add any fish sauce for fear of high sodium/MSG content… your taste buds can play tricks on you after a heavy night of drinking. aka, with Asian food, you are naturally going to consume a boat load of sodium AND msg! I was trying to do my body a favor ok? With that being said, all Asian cuisines should start posting their nutritional content NOW! For obvious reasons, most do NOT. For shame.

The hand-pulled noodles are tender, long, and delicious. However, most dishes come in a broth that is a bath of MSG. It has no aroma or taste except for the bitter aftershock of monosodium glutamate. This food is just not tasty. True, most dishes cost only $ 4-$ 7, but that’s average by Chinatown standards. Using those same standards, the portions are inadequate. The roast duck noodle dish comes with a scant few pieces of roast duck. I hope you enjoy the neck, drumstick, and ass portions. Also, this is one of the growing number of Fukienese places settling in Chinatown, so your Cantonese is absolutely useless here. This restaurant was mentioned in NY Magazine’s 2008 Cheap List. I do not recommend a visit. Go if you want the novelty of hand-pulled noodles, but otherwise try elsewhere.

Noodles so long I could stand and eat… If you’re a fan of Asian comic books you know there is always one character in the story who is fat and loves to eat ramen. Whether its instant or homemade this round oval shaped face character with snot coming out of his nose like a faucet, is me at Food Sing 88 Corp. Drooling while eating my hand pulled noodles, I was daydreaming about my next meal while eating. Food Sing 88 Corp has been in the works for some time now, previously a small little hole in the wall has now blossomed into a clean and fairly fresh eatery. The old Food Sing 88 was only 8 seater mostly catered toward young Chinese Fukienese kids looking for some fast grub, is now more spacious and more accommodating toward Westerners– they put in an English menu. The Seafood Hand Pulled Noodles is what I got for $ 6.50, my bowl of soup came out hot and steamy with shrimp, clams, fish balls, squid, greens and of course the hand-pulled noodles. Once I slurped the base of the soup I knew there were some meat flavor in it, so if you’re not a meat eater I highly doubt that it’s all seafood base. Fortunately for me I love the mixture of meat-based stocks with seafood. The base was a sodium goodness with beef flavor with hint of fresh clam juice and a aftertaste of msg, I know some are not fan of msg but it’s just not ramen with out it. The noodle was so chewy and bouncy I could have pulled it all the way home w/out breaking it. Kenneth got the Beef Hand Pulled Noodle Soup $ 4.50 that was also scrumptious. The broth is beefy strong and very flavorful, again if you are allergic to msg be careful. I will say this is my favorite among all the same hand pull noodles places in Chinatown. Friendly staff, very clean interior and good quality bowl of pleasure, what more can you ask for for $ 4.50?
