Amazing store, great service & stock galore! Makes Nike Town on 57^th look like a crap shack!

The sales associate didn’t know what a «Jordan 12» was. Definitely thought this was the «Jordan» store. Don’t really understand why you have a job there if you don’t even know what you sell. Probably wouldn’t go back because no one really knows what I’m talking about when I ask for shoes so idk what I’m even supposed to do.

You can cop some pairs that are sold-​out online here but nothing that’s SERIOUS heat. I’ve been going here since they opened but never had luck buying what I was looking for. I’ve stood in line here for 6 hours on Saturday mornings and went home empty-​handed. But what makes this place unbearable is the staff’s complete lack of knowledge. I’ve been trying to get this pair of 4s and I went here 5 times now because every time a different employee tells me a different day to come back for the restock. Whatever an employee here tells you, THEY ARE ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS WRONG. They have no idea about what inventory they will be getting although they pretend like they do for some reason. They do have some pretty flyy gear here though but nothing EVER goes on sale so you will always have to pay full price for the same stuff that will be on sale at Champs or Foot Locker soon.

This store exists to cater to scum of the earth resellers. They have a limit of one per customer, unless you’ve worked out an arrangement and then you can buy multiples. It’s not uncommon to see people walking out with 5 or 6 bags on a release day, the bouncers are rude and scream at you.
Employees try to push bullshit on you that you don’t need, like socks and Jordan brand swag.
Once I bought a pair of kicks here, only to have it pulled at the counter because it shouldn’t have been out. No apology was given, just attitude from the manager whose name was Franko.
Don’t go here, find another spot for kicks. Terrible place.

From apparel to footwear to socks and accessories you’ll find lots of unique Jordan items that you cannot find anywhere else. However, get ready to drop some money cause this place is quite the $$$.
The décor is very unique, like walking into an art gallery. Layout is clean, easy to shop and check out stuff. However, the service lacks. Seems like next door at the regular footaction most employees were there and only one in Flight 23.
If you’re a sneakerhead/​Jordan Fan it is a must to come check out the first «Jordan» retail store. That jumpman 23 chandelier though.

I left here a happy customer as i was able to walk out with 2 ultra rare pairs of J’s i couldnt find elsewhere in Florida. Our sales man helped us out big time and was totally patient with me and the misses as I tried on a few pairs. super friendly and super fresh inside, i loved my experience here as a first timer. I wish that they had more selections being an exclusive store, but thats jordan/nike’s attempt at product control.
the displays on the wall are pretty sick as they have each jordan shoe on display from the year that he won each of his championships. its like a museum in itself!

A store that sell Jordan, Jordan And more Jordan. Bring lots of bucks as it ain’t cheap. But lots of cool stuff.

Cool looking spot but not a huge selection. Layout and setup are nice and well thought out.
Staff are attentive enough. Attached to a Foot Action so walk over there to get a larger selection from which to choose if you don’t find anything in here.
Located in the bustling Herald Square area so there are other shoe stores in the vicinity.

They sell exclusive sneakers and have some décor dedicated to his airness Michael Jordan. They offer an impressive amount of rarer sneakers (if you are updates and are willing to lineup) and other clothing/​accessories than even house of hoops/​footlocker.

I flew in Frm LA and happen to be staying across the street. Bought a couple of pairs and a jumpman NYC T. Service can use some improvement! The regular foot action side has better service. The store itself is really cooI and has some interesting artsy stuff to check out. After shopping at a number of Nyc stores like Gucci, Prada, and Fendi on 5^th ave, the terrible service must be a NYC thing. What evs!

I never thought that my shopping experience at one store location would cause me to never shop with a company again, but boy was I wrong…
This is the most corrupt sneaker store I have ever visited. Every time they hold a «raffle» for an upcoming limited sneaker release they don’t actually release any pairs to the public (for retail at least). The only way one can purchase a pair is by paying the manager or a few other select employees a few hundred dollar fee per pair. I understand that employees at similar type stores will help themselves or friends to a pair or two, but at this store they resell the whole stock prior to release and no raffle is actually held.
I don’t believe this store even has a phone because they never call any raffle winners and never answer phone calls. In addition, most of the staff is just plain rude and not helpful at all. Also I noticed the manager speaking very disrespectfully to two employees that seemed to be somewhat new.
The only way to save this store is by first firing the manager and then about 90% of the remaining staff. I will never shop at a footlocker owned business (footaction, champs, eastbay) until I notice some change at this location. It’s very sad that some of these employees are representing the Jordan and Nike brands in such a negative way.

This place is horrible… I won a sneaker raffle and was supposed to pick up the sneakers last Tuesday… they still didn’t come in yet. When I call, it just keeps ringing and no one picks up… I don’t recommend this place at all.

This store is a joke. They receive the most exclusive sneakers around only to raffle them off to friends and family. Each person can receive one pair of sneakers max yet everyone on craigslist and ebay has full size runs with verified receipts. The management are a bunch of crooks in my book.

Horrible worst sneaker store.

Just purchased my first pair of J’s… Well my man got them. He’s the sneaker head, not me. However my review is based off his reactions. And he wasn’t pleased at all.
The selection was minimal. He knew the particular pair he wanted wasn’t available for purchase but they only had Retro 1’s which are like the Air Force Ones. They had some 2’s but they’re not as popular. I believe they restocked a couple days ago but they sold out as soon as they got them in. So basically going to this store is like going to TJ Maxx… It’s going to be a hit or miss. And judging by the popularity of Retros, they will always run out.
However, the service was good. There were at least 4 – 5 employees assisting us, asking if we needed any help, j/​k with us. I don’t believe they realized we were out of towners (although I’m an original NY’er) AND it’s Memorial Day weekend, so of course they were swamped with customers.

There is little recourse for bad first impressions. And if the staff at Foot Action /​Flight 23 are adept at one thing, it’s making bad first impressions.
First, there are the semi-​pro (but completely sketchy) «bouncers» out front on release days. 1) they have no badges or anything that might indicate they work there and 2) the guy I came across might’ve received some extra compensation by ‘generous’ guests, hoping to procure the latest release (use your imagination as to why). As an out of town customer with less than dubious intentions (COUGHresellersCOUGH), this isn’t exactly the scene I expected out front at a «flagship» store.
Then there are the jaded, «I don’t make enough to care» managers and staff. Given the ‘exclusive’ products they get access to, I suspect these guys all have an over inflated sense of empowerment. Which is the only way I can explain someone having the audacity to keep would-​be customers out of an empty section of store. Had I been allowed in the store upon arrival, I would’ve saved myself the total one hour I spent standing, waiting and browsing what little this joke of an operation had to offer.
And in the end, that may be the saddest part of all: Aside from the dangly, gold Jumpan emblems hanging from the ceiling, Flight 23 was nothing special. Just a small section of a run of the mill retail store, devoted to overpriced clothes and little else. No highlight reels of MJ playing on the walls, no commemorative displays, no keepsakes to say you made the trek to the House of Jordan. Flight 23 was just a group of kids standing out front, telling hopeful customers that at the end of the day, they had nothing left to offer.
How true indeed.

The store itself is nice. The staff on the other hand, are extremely unprofessional. I can understand crowd control but if I’m dropping close to $ 200 per pair of Jordan’s I would expect professionalism. The «bouncer» mentality that the «security» guard showed was not called for. I’m there with a 13 year old. Show some tact and professionalism.
I filed a complaint with the stores website. This is what I wrote:
I went to your store at 225 West 34^th St New York, NY 10 122 and the service from the security staff is deplorable. Never in my life have I ever experience such unprofessionalism in any retail establishment. Apparently I am not the only person who feels that way. I pasted a Unilocal link in this message with others who feel the same way. This store is too new to have these type of issues. Your security staff thinks they are running a nightclub rather than a retail establishment. I couldn’t tell if they were hired thugs to maintain some sort of order and crowd control or bouncers in a nightclub. The way they barked orders at people is quite intimidating, especially to my 13 year old son. I’m here to spend money and not to be yelled at to make a line. Once inside, I was rushed through the store and wasn’t even able to look around due to your staff rushing people through. After spending close to $ 400 in this store, I left there extremely dissatisfied. And according to Unilocal,I am not the only one.

Small place. Figured they would have more exclusive type of things but nope. I was lucky to come here during the 1^st month they opened and they had some left over RESTOCKs and I had to purchase. I’ve never seen so many people rocking Js in 1 place. I must have seen at least a dozen different pairs that people were showing off. Lol. At least people be wearing em instead of keepin em on the shelf somewhere. Some employees looked a lil shady tho and I did hear someone tryna deal with a customer on price. REALLY?

This is the very first Jordan-​only retail store. The store layout is very eye catching and appealing in every way to basketball lovers and Michael Jordan fans. Very modern, clean, and in every way Jordan-​esque. It’s not a big store, it’s the size of half of the average shoe store in NYC.
It seems very fitting the store opened during the beginning of Black History Month. They have been promoting Carmelo Anthony’s collection of Jordans M10 and Black History month collections along with the re-​release of the very first Jordan shoes in retro and various color ways. It seems that you will find any new release or event relating to Jordan to be here in this store.
I was impressed with the store experience here. They seem to have plenty of stock on most of their items and there was always something that drew me to walk from one corner of the store to the other. The customer service is very active and there will always be someone to help you find your size of apparel and shoes. They have plenty of Sales Associates on the floor keeping an eye out to make some sort of sale. Kind of like a car dealership. they really want it!
