It’s small, so you should expect Trader Joe’s or(corrupt) Whole Foods amount of product selection. I’m bourgeoise, but I do nearly all my shopping here and I’m pretty satisfied. The selection is pretty good though, and the employees are for the most part, very friendly and helpful(although you should probably learn Spanish if you want to shop here lol) I’m Caribbean and I can find most of the products I need. The fresh produce selection is pretty good, but I find some of the onions are a bit old. I don’t eat meats, but the meats seem a little less than fresh. The fish selection is good, but all barn raised, and I prefer wild. They carry tons of organic and conventional milks, yogurts, cheeses, free roaming chicken eggs, cereals, baking goods, quinoa, and sauces.

It’s a bit on the pricey side but they have a great selection of fruits and veggies. Located right by the train station, great for those commuting and want to grab something on their way into or coming from the subway. They get 3 stars because of their expensive groceries and for the non commuters, no parking.

I only shop here when I need a few things. Frankly I find their prices to be outrageous. I buy the bulk of my groceries at Walmart. If I’m missing some minor things then I will stop here. They have a good selection of fruits and vegetables, the place is bright and clean. I just cannot justify paying 50% more for the same item I can get at Walmart for half the cost. Yes, I know that this is NYC and things cost more but these people are off the charts when it comes to prices. The only time their prices are reasonable is when they run a sale. In that case you have to get there quick before they run out of stock of the item.

Fine Fare is a decent supermarket, and this one is bigger than most. I bought some cupcakes from here recently that tasted a bit stale, but to their credit I was able to get a full refund for them even though obviously I had opened the package and eaten one. It’s really the only option near enough to walk to in that Central Park North 2 and 3 train area, so if you need something quick it’s worth it to look here.

Love the selection of authentic ethnic groceries that you ain’t gonna get at whole foods or trader joes. Or if you do it’ll be all packaged for gringos with prices to match!

Yes all of this is true. Clean, bright, fresh food. Some prices are cheaper than Central Market and Best Yet like the Orange Juice was on sale the other day for 2.88, but seriously– 5.29 for ½ gallon of Organic Valley Milk? How can the milk be even MORE expensive than the other stores in the area? Fresh Direct offers this milk for 3.50! You’ll have to do better to make me a regular.

New Fine Fare has the vegetables in the front! The selection is small but mostly fresh and great for staples.

I’ve been waiting with baited breath and I’m thrilled it’s finally open! Not only that, but it’s even better than I thought it would be. A deli counter! Lox! Fancy cheeses! Hooray! Can we please have a bakery next?

It’s open! It’s open! It’s open! It’s open! It’s open! It’s open! Clean, bright, shiny and new. Here’s hoping she sticks to it.
