Fidel Gourmet Deli

It’s great because it’s open ²⁴⁄₇ even on holidays and on snow days. They have the basic things you need, from detergent to beer. The heroes are good and people seem to love the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. I personally like the chicken burrito. Someone mentioned that their prices vary depending on the day and who’s behind the counter and that’s true. I always tell them about that but they don’t care. I’ve been complaining for 9 years.
Ladies, watch out for the guy that makes the sandwiches, the one with the mustache who looks like Borat. He’s very fresh and thinks he can say and do whatever he wants. That kills everything that’s good about the deli. He’s very annoying and makes women uncomfortable. It’s too bad because everyone else is so decent and cool. If they got rid of him, I would give it 4 stars.

This place is great. Made to order, whatever you want. Very accommodating, fair priced, & friendly service. ²⁴⁄₇ makes it easy access during late nights or early mornings when the rest of Broadway is asleep.

I love Fidel because they have falafel wraps ²⁴⁄₇. It’s my go to place for an awesome falafel at any time. Since i dont really eat meat its hard to find quick bites to eat. Plus they have a pretty decent selection of craft beers.

It’s your average NYC deli with some nice guys working there.
You can get some pretty decent deli sandwiches here and they definitely get an extra star for the pretty good beer selection.
My problem with these guys is that there’s no price regulation !
One day something is $ 1.75, next day is $ 2.00 and the day after is $ 1.75 again.
Same goes for the beer, which again is an above average selection but the prices seem to change as often as the moon phases.

This is another one of your standard NYC Delis. They offer a wide variety of junk food and beverages. I visited recently and came away with a crappy breakfast egg sandwich. They managed to get the inside of the egg runny with the outside burned. Also, the sausage on the sandwich had a weird beefy flavor.
In the unlikely chance that I make it back, it will be to pick up a drink or snack.
