Dear Famiglia, you gave me a quote for an order and upon delivery charged me more than quoted. Your reasoning being that my Ceasar salad had chicken. I paid the unquoted amount and figure I might as well let it go, but then I started eating my salad. This is the worse chicken Ceasar I’ve ever had. The chicken feels like it was refrigerated, nuked(microwaved) and then thrown into a bed of lettuce with croutons. The lettuce is fresh but your croutons taste expired. Because I am hungry I got through my lettuce but left everything else. I hope the pizza is ok for the rest of everyone else’s sake. Don’t think we want your business anymore. Thanks.

I really love this chain for what it is. There are a lot of different locations, so if you’re in a random part of the city and are craving a pretty decent slice of pizza, you know Famiglia is there for you. I’ve had their plain cheese, pepperoni, and mozzarella slices and they are all great!

My office orders pizza for the entire department from this store on Broadway. I enjoy the specialty pizza they offer so decided to try out what the actual store offers. The store is hard to miss with its large sign and you’re welcomed right as you enter the restaurant. Through the glass window, you essentially pick what pizza or Stromboli you want, then they warm it up for you in the oven. There is a seating area available either a group or community seating. During peak hours, it might be hard to get a seat. I would also recommend trying their Arnold Palmer; I really enjoyed it. If you want something garlic-y, forget the garlic bread and go for the garlic knots. I tried the garlic bread but the flavor was a little too intense with the garlic chunks in the bread. The garlic knots come with six in one order and you get the marinara sauce with it. I’ll be back to try their specialty pizzas again and again!

I’ve been hoping for a good pizza place to pop up close to my apartment. Although this location has been in my ‘hood for awhile, they recently relocated about 3 blocks closer to me. The direct route to deliciousness makes all the difference. 3 stars because my friend ordered the wings and they were pretty terrible. Small & burnt on one side. But, I guess when a place is known for their pizza, you shouldn’t anticipate the world’s best wings? The fresca pizza was so good I stuffed two slices down my throat while barely remembering to breathe. Thanks, Famous Famiglia!

I really wasn’t a Fan of this place until they opened in the new place. Food taste fresher and better. Even the staff seems more lively. Maybe its the change in atmosphere or something. Pasta is much better than before and the pizza maybe needs a little more sauce. Other than that, I like this place now!

MOARBASILPLEASE i dont know why it is so hard for them to give you extra basil on the fresca pizza. I ask every time and they never do it. I’m paying almost $ 20 dollars for a small pizza which, without enough basil, seems pretty pathetic.

I’ve had pizza from here many times and have noticed that the pizza tastes different every time I order from this pizzeria. The pizzas are sometimes overcooked to the point where you can’t taste the cheese anymore it’s just chewy. The sauce is okay, it does seem a little out of place with the cheese and crust. Their garlic knots are pretty good. Delivery is kind of slow so expect a long wait. Overall, there’s something missing from these pizzas that would make them amazing. You could get better at a thousand other pizzerias in the city.

Who ever said«even bad pizza is good pizza» is full of shit. The pic of the slice is sad and limp, if I ever went to prison, this is what I would expect pizza to taste like. There was no crunch, the sauce was barely noticeable and the dough tasted like cardboard. Cheese was nice and chewy but no flavor. The chicken was OK. The tomato and basil was terrible, I was not a impressed.

Let me put it in simple words… Disgusting. We ordered baked ziti and chicken parm, not only did we wait 1 hr to get our food but it was also almost inedible. The food was nearly burnt. When I called to let them know they offered to re-deliver… No thank you I wasn’t waiting another hour. Never again

Unilocal’s been bugging me to review this for some time. I went in September, sorry this review is so late! My sister wanted pizza, so I went here with her and then next door to Chipotle. The inside is just old and unattractive. She got a salad and pizza. The salad is taken out of a big bin that was probably made that morning. This was confirmed when the croutons were like mush. When we asked for new ones, we were told that they did not have fresh croutons. Odd. The pizza was pretty bad too, sister and dad both didn’t like it. I didn’t even bother trying it because it looked so bad. The one guy working decided to step up and give us the money for the salad back even though we didn’t ask, so he gets a star for that. There’s no reason to go to Famiglia with Chipotle next door… skip it.

Pizza is okay, but very greasy. A good place to eat if you’re looking for a quick bite, they sell pizza by the slice. Conveniently located by the metro station.

LOVETHEIRPIZZA! Their mozzarella stuffed garlic bread is SUPERB as well. It’s my favorite pizza joint in the area(and I’ve tried lots of different places). It’s a little overpriced, but the quality makes up for that. The pizza is great. Crust is thin but crispy, not oily either. Their ingredients are fresh and they don’t skimp on the marinara or the cheese. I’m quite impressed that it being a chain and it still maintaining really good quality food. I would order weekly if I could afford it!
