I’ve gotten about 25 pieces of art framed here for my studio. Every single one was done with the utmost care and professionalism and the framer is extremely warm and helpful. He went above and beyond on 2 very large pieces of mine that had glue all over the back from a previous hanging method. They clearly care about art and their customers. As a great addition, they are also fairly fast and always give a friendly phone call as soon as the job is done. So happy to have a great place in the neighborhood.

I had a great experience with this framing store. The owner helped me pick out the most affordable but good looking frames for my 4 prints. My framed prints were ready within one week and I’m so happy how they turned out. He also waited to attach the wire to one picture to confirm which way I’d like to hang it (vertically or horizontally). He then attached the wire in just a few minutes. The man I worked with is very kind, helpful and does wonderful work.
This store is much more affordable and their finished products are higher quality than other frame stores in the area. I highly recommend!

Excel Framers are highly professional, precise, and affordable for framing in NYC. We have 2 frames in our office done by them that we absolutely love. We called after being recommended by an artist that uses them for framing. They were very helpful and even came to pick up and drop off the frame after it was finished, at no extra cost. They did an excellent job and we would highly recommend them for any framing needs.

Very professional service. I placed an order with them for 3 of my prints to be custom matted and framed together. He took time helping me pick out everything, offering suggestions. Less than 24 hours later I had to cancel the order. He credited my card back with no hesitation and no questions asked.

An above-​par framing experience. The salesperson (framer?) was knowledgeable and helped me select appropriate colors and materials for my frames. They offer UV protective glass and TONS of matting and framing options. Like any framing store though, it’s not cheap. I had two certificates and one poster framed, had a 26% off coupon and the total was still over $ 300. I always have trouble swallowing the $ 100+ frame for the $ 20 poster, but it makes the poster a real piece of art… so I deal with it.
My pieces were framed within a week and they called me when I could pick up. He unwrapped and showed me everything before I took it home. The framing was nicely done — no dust bunnies under the frames, everything looks level, etc.
