Friendly staff, however I didn´t like what I got for my money and one day later the flowers don´t look very good anymore. (I put them in a vase with water 15 minutes later). I’ll order somwhere else online next time

Whenever I need to get flowers, I always call Bill! He is the best and makes my job so much easier (as I am often getting the flowers on behalf of my boss). Beautiful work and a pleasure to work with.

I have been using Essex Flowers for the last year for both client events, hotel guests and personal arrangements. As a small shop, they depend on what comes in daily into the flower district. They have a good eye for value and quality of flower. Tell them how much you want to spend and the type of arrangement you are looking for and they come through each and every time. Their arrangements are tasteful and delivered on time (an important aspect in our business). We will continue to support this shop as they have given us no reason to try someone new!

I came a week ago with my fiancé to choose some flowers for our picnic /​wedding… The owner was a little weird and tough and told us to come back closer to the date, because he didn t know what flowers he would have. Not exactly helpful.
So today I came back with my sister and dad to pick my flowers, so excited and happy, but I had THE WORST experience.
I asked for simple white little bouquets and if he had any idea to help… So, I did and then he decided to add some completelt tasteless flowers… He was offended I wasn’t a fan and told me that he didnt care what I like and was so rude with me.
He actually asked me why I wanted these for my wedding, told me my idea was wrong and stupid. I said no problem you don’t want to do this… He freaked out, yelling, completely rude and condescending and insane.
Total nutjob. Worst experience, not what I needed 2 days before the big day.
Don’t go there.

So happy with the flowers I picked up today! I’m not sure why this claims they’re pricey — I told them what I needed and they based the bouquet on the price I wanted to pay. Sounds perfect to me!
I also needed my flowers really quick for a funeral and they made the most beautiful arrangement in just a few short minutes while I waited.
Will definitely come back for my future flower needs!

I needed an emergency floral arrangement for a funeral. I came down here because its the closest. ugh, what a mistake.
i told them my budget was $ 50 bucks and i told them the family is Scottish and I will be driving down to NJ for the funeral, so please make it transportable. I suggested we go for a somber white with a minimal color. the dude told me he knows how to do this best and to trust him. well, okay, sure. i’ll trust you. (sigh, why do things always go wrong at the ‘ill trust you’ part??)
the next morning i pick up my floral arrangement, pay the remainder (left a $ 25 deposit), and someone came out to help me pack it in the car.
yes that was a nice bit of service. the staff was also friendly and nice too.
however, they made the floral arrangement this colorful, spring-​like happy arrangement. i told you guys FUNERAL, not fun fun party.

You get what you pay for.
The flowers here are of some of the best quality and they will last you for over a week. They have fresh, gorgeous flowers in an array of vibrant colors. If you need help putting together a bouquet, not a problem. They are experts here who really do know how to give you what you want.
I have never had any issues here and they are super warm and welcoming. They don’t make you feel bad for walking in just for a look and they treat every customer the same.
Love the service and more importantly the flowers.
