Poor quality work. KEEP AWAY. I ordered 9 frames for a show and 4 of the frames had nails that shot right through the corners. You can see the nail showing through the other side of the corner! On top of that, the the nails split the wood. Someone tried to hide the exposed nail and the split wood with some sort of colored touch up putty, but it really looked awful and needed to be re-​done. Also DONT ever have them re-​stretch canvases. My re-​stretch canvas was delivered to me completely loose and buckled in one of the corners. I had to exhibit my work like that since there was no time to have this Co fix the mess. And, I didn’t evan know they were damaged until they were unwrapped in the gallery. When the show came down, I brought the damaged frames back to be replaced/​repaired. I waited 3 weeks and called to check if the repairs were completed. The owner promised it would be ready in one more week. I called the following week and still it wasn’t ready. I explained that I needed them for an upcoming show and one painting needed to be shipped to the Netherlands. He promised they would be ready in one more week. So I waited a week only to be disappointed that the work was STILL not ready. The owners explanation was that they were short staffed and had a lot of work ahead of me. NOT MY PROBLEM. If the work had be done properly to begin with I wouldn’t be wasting my time or his. I picked up my work un-​repaired and I will never go back.
The store is in a very difficult location to drive to. It was incredibly inconvenient and almost impossible to stop there without getting a ticket. And by the way, these frames we’re very expensive, several thousand dollars! I found out later how incredibly inexpensive the frames really are. He has quite a hefty mark-​up. Anyway, the price would be fine if the frames were fine. KEEP AWAY.

I’ve done business with Empire over the past 5 years and have framed prints, photos, paintings, collectables, sports memorabilia, you name… they can frame it! Excellent pricing, honest people. They will work with you, make suggestions, and deliver on time. I keep going back. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking to pay top dollar for substandard work, this place is for you. If you want your work done correctly, go elsewhere — These guys are clowns.

I have had various pieces framed at Empire Gallery. Eddie and his team always impress me. Even if a piece is complicated or hard to frame, they work creatively and skillfully to produce excellent finished artwork. Furthermore, they are pleasant, kind, and fairly-​priced!

Terrible, simply terrible. I went there with what should have been a simple matting request. Walked out having spent DOUBLE the initial quote and left with a ruined project. Save yourself the time, effort and money and go somewhere, anywhere, else.

I love these guys.
They have a great selection of frames — they’re happy to offer their opinions when you want them and happy to step back when you don’t.
Over the years, I’ve probably had them frame or stretch thirty pieces and they treat a fifty buck poster with the same respect that they give to a two thousand dollar original.
Unlike other galleries I’ve tried, there’s no attitude here.
Just some really nice guys doing really great work at really fair prices.

I needed a painting stretched and Empire had the best price and provided amazing service. They picked up my painting and delivered it the next day and did a great job stretching it. They went beyond my expectations and Eddy was very helpful and efficient. I highly recommend.

Had a painted canvas stretched and put back onto a wood frame here. They were quick, friendly and did a great job. They told me it would take a couple of days, but it showed up the next day. Very happy with their service and would definitely use them again. Fair price too. Negotiated a good deal with delivery.

I came here after another framing place returned a canvas to me because they felt uncomfortable stretching it, as it was very large and thin. In short, Empire did the job for a fair price, in time and with a great attitude. And when time came to bring the piece home, they helped me for 20 minutes getting it into the car, even staying open late for me. I will definitely come back here and can recommend them very highly.

After having a bad experience elsewhere, I called Empire Gallery and they were able to pick up my framed piece of art the same day (to replace the glass) and bring it back the same day as well. Very professional, did not charge too much, i cannot complain!!!

I came here and asked them how much it would cost to get my canvas stretched and framed, and I got an excellent quote! I was super-​excited and brought my canvas in, but this time I got a different guy who wanted to charge me three times as much, and said the quote was impossible! Fortunately the first guy (older white/​Jewish gentleman) was still there, and he gave me the quoted price. No problem, he said! The younger guy was pissed. In the end they did a very nice job, and I was quite happy with the price too.
