I fond the staff to be very friendly and helpful, and the food, while pretty expensive, was great! Their Ribeye is the best steak I have had so far in NY, and the rest was above par. Service is excellent!

What can you expect, it’s a hotel restaurant. I will say, my food was better than I expected but with so many other options in lower Manhattan and a short walk away from Stone Street, why would you eat here? I stay at the DoubleTree sometimes when I travel to NY for work but I feel bad when I see the tourists who tend to fill up this place(it’s not very big) and miss out on a special restaurant that NYC has to offer not too far away. I had the French Onion soup which was actually quite good. The lobster roll was ok, I could have done without the fried bread, but there wasn’t too much mayo which was nice. The staff was very attentive. It is pricey, but they figure tourists won’t know any better.

I had dinner and breakfast here because my family stayed at the hotel that this restaurant is attached to when they were in town visiting. Breakfast was expensive! They have a buffet opinion, which consisted of very mediocre food keep in warming dishes, cashed $ 18 a person. Totally not worth it unless you sneak out a lot of cereal, jams, and bagels out like I did. Dinner was the only time that they gave any sort of discount to guest staying at the hotel. The food was good and had decent portions.
