First NYC Food Truck experience, I skipped the hotel breakfast to cross off Mexican and Food Truck from my NYC hitlist. Service was really nice with a smile and the food was tasty but not great. Though my stomach is pleasantly warm and satisfied, I leave with the feeling that I can find better.

Tasty breakfast burrito aka mexican wrap and the breakfast sandwich aka chorizo fresco is great, too. Solid start to your day.

E G G B O Y S $ 4 for 1 Taco is EGGSPENSIVE. I mean I would call it a delicious Eggsperience, but the prices were a little too Eggstravagant. My Chorizo and Egg Tacos were actually Eggsceptional. I also tried the Huevos Tocino Taco which was meh. The guac was also meh. Aside from that, the people in the truck were cool. Sadly they didn’t have any steak ready or I might have gotten that instead of the tocino. Maybe I’ll come back if I’m desperate for a morning taco.

Well, I waited … I would say 8 – 10 min around 9am on a Monday morning. Paid $ 7 for a so called Mexican(authentic) omelet. It was really an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink sort of eggstravaganza. Filled with peppers, chorizo, potatoes, onions, cheese, and guac– because the toppings were unevenly spread/portioned, I had a surprise in every bite. The uneven distribution would normally be a downer, but in this case I embraced the surprise and thought it was fine. Obviously get it with hot sauce.

Man… this place rocks! I just got a bacon egg breakfast taco and it was melt in your mouth good… lots of details… and they put it all together for you so no add’l assembly required… salsa, a little guac, little bit of onion, cilantro… came on two soft corn tortillas and not overly cheesy/greasy, but major flavor in every bite. I can’t believe I haven’t tried this place before… amazing.

I expected a nice egg sandwich. It sucked. It was more wrap than egg. I thought perhaps 6 dollars instead of a usual 3 would mean nice egg and cheese. I will never be back. Definitely doesn’t deserve 5 star reviews. Drive this truck back over the queensborough bridge or starting putting more eggs in your sandwiches. The menu was inspiring, expecting great Mexican cooking and flavor and instead I was left flat. Ugh I should have cooked my own eggs this morning.

I needed a quick on-the-go breakfast and Eggs Travaganza fit the bill. After checking out the menu, which is fairly large for a food truck, I settled on the safe bet of sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel. The had many other options, but I didn’t want to get risky. Each order is made-to-order, but it only took a couple of minutes to receive. Overall, the ingredients tasted good and fresh. I would recommend giving them a try, especially because their prices are low!

The omelette I had was very oily and did not taste like the ingredients were very fresh. I wasn’t in love with the service either. The woman was very sassy and it was not as if there were many customers and she had to go quickly, I was the only one there at the time. One redeeming quality was the price. Cheap for midtown and for lunch. So not a bad deal all in all.

Just had a nice, fresh salad with grilled chicken. Everything was great, very tasty with a little bit of spice.(Something I don’t associate with a salad.) Very friendly staff, quick and efficient. I’ll definitely be back, and look forward to trying some of their other dishes!

Felt like all of my midtown food trucks were incentivized by my colleague and none of them disappointed me. This small Mexican truck was famous for its three amigos wrap so I gave a try, very satisfactory! It smelt great even outside the truck. The crust was a little bit hard to bite though.

I am not a fan of food truck. However I ordered a chicken burritos for my lunch. Service is nice, they simile and said hi and how are you to you, and they remember what u ordered from so many others ordered. The food wasn’t look fancy, but actually it is very yum. The chicken wasn’t dry, it wasn’t very spicy to me. I will come back again.

I wish I could post a photo on here which perfectly describes why I’m so upset with this food truck. I asked for ketchup and they gave me literally one dot. Is that purposely to anger me? What was even the point? Don’t mess with a ketchup lover. Plus, I could have gone to a dinner for less than these eggs cost me. $ 8 for an omlet with nothing to accompany it, which I waited 10 minutes for. Enough said.

Yum!!! I was craving tacos on a Monday and I was hoping I could find a taco truck around the food truck motherland that is midtown. I’m so happy I found this place! At first glance, it seemed like a breakfast trick with the name«eggstravaganza» but glancing at the menu I see TACOS! I immediately stop. I check the Unilocal reviews– I’m weary but at this point I’m hungry and I say screw it. I ordered two Cajun chicken tacos — I normally don’t do chicken tacos but I had a good feeling about these — and one steak taco. These are Mexico/California true taco truck tacos! So good, so flavorful. I used to work at an authentic Cali/Mexican spot so I know good tacos. I’m so glad I didn’t let the reviews sway me. I will say the chicken was better than the steak. The steak was a little chewy and wasn’t OVERLY flavorful. But still good. I can’t wait to come back and try chorizo and eggs!

Food truck. Yes, I want my food to be mobile. Perfect location for this breakfast bomb assault truck. If you don’t like this good truck, you let me know and I’ll show up and change your mind. There is no reason not to like this food truck. The cooks on this truck were the same cooks for Schwarzenegger during filming of the movie Predator. I’m positive Carl Weathers ate from the hands of these amazing chefs.

The word here is «Egggstravagantly Inconsistent» Plus NOBEANS ! How do you serve rice with no beans? wack ! Tried it twice, and both times it was different. This review is only for lunch, i assume it will be difficult for them to screw up breakfast.

I’ve tried Eggs Travaganza when they were just a cart, and it seems like not much has changed? Really good and well-priced breakfasts… generally. This last time, I tried a breakfast vegetarian taco and it was quite expensive for how tiny it was. Spicy and strong flavor, though. I guess it’s my fault for ordering the wrong thing! I often plan to come back, but since they’re so steadfastly at 52nd and Park, I always end up feeling like I should try other, rarer options before circling back here.

I had a Mexican wrap from this truck. It had eggs, chorizo, and potatoes in it. For $ 5 it’s a bit on the pricey side, but I wouldn’t have minded if it actually tasted good. It was super bland even though they put hot sauce/salsa in it. I may give one of the other dishes a shot if I come across this truck again. Usually I end up going to one of the many carts serving bacon, egg and cheese on a roll for much less.

I ate from them when they were a smaller less decorated truck and the food was great! Good flavor and fresh! But the other day I stopped by and got a breakfast burrito with jalepenos that was not seasoned and not spicy at all. I ate it, but it was not super delicious like before. Not sure what changed but pricing was higher and food was ok, not great.

I recently boosted this place twice looking to use a GROUPON that they had advertised and each time I received a different reason for why they couldn’t value the promotion, THAT I PAIDFORAHEADOFTIME. now I’m from New Jersey do unless I’m already over here it’s quite a hassle to get back in the area, and cost me extra cash pet train, so to walk up to the truck enthusiastically wanting to taste some breakfast just to have the owners carelessly shrug their shoulders and not even pay their customers attention is sad. SAD. no apology or understanding from either of them just a shrug and a swat goodbye. And p. s. if it was a stipulation to the fact of use then I could understand but to just have potential customers come to your booth and try to use an offer you put out but can’t redeem because you changed your mind yesterday is terrible business. BAAADDDDDDDDD.TOTALREFUND(just for the shrugging and sense of not caring).

Great breakfast sandwiches! They are always parked at 52nd and Park Avenue in the mornings(at least weekday mornings!). Fast, friendly service and no complaints. Not too greasy, and not too expensive. What more can you ask for?
