I have been at my parent’s place nearby for a couple of weeks and my mom is the avid fan
of their cut watermelons, and everyday I stop by to get them and some other goodies.
The store is clean and well-​stocked for its size. The owner seems to be there during
weekday afternoons. He is always nice and caring even though I buy only a few.
Even though there are some other grocery stores including D’agostinos (big supermarket
chain), I always go to Eddie’s for their good produce and some other things.
Try for their great watermelon cuts in the afternoons (fresh ones are available after 12pm
it seems).

Have been going to Eddie’s since I moved here 15 years ago. Always willing to give them my business because everyone that works here is so nice and accommodating. They have even offered to cut open an avocado before buying for me to see if it’s ready to eat!
They have all the basics and a few extra things. Also have beer which most people don’t realize! Definitely make a point to stop there for any kitchen essentials before places like CVS

I love this solid neighborhood place. Pleasant place to shop. Beat Dag’s prices on lots of basics like milk and bread. Inner glow from knowing you’re supporting a small independent local business.
Best of all, though, are the seasonal tomatoes from New Jersey. Big, imperfect looking, but TASTE LIKE TOMATOES. Check here before you pay 5 times more at Agata and Valentino.

I came here once for tomatoes. $ 1.39 a lb. They were perfectly ripe without being mushy. This is a good price for the city, and I would never expect this price from a bodega. I paid $ 0.65 for my tomato and left… super easy. I’ve never gone in for anything else, so I can’t speak to that. But go tomatoes!

The guy behind the counter Monday-​Friday mornings is the best. He’s so nice and he can handle helping like 4 people at once. They have great iced coffee here, its pretty much all I ever get. The one thing is that if he’s not there, they are pretty slow-​moving. Also the produce outside is so overpriced.

Seems you only know about Eddie’s if you live around the corner (which I do). Everyone in the store is super friendly, the selection is great (they’ve saved my ass a few times in baking-​related-​emergencies) and for me, the location can’t be beat. I wish they accepted credit cards — that’s my only negative for Eddie’s!

This market is right on the corner where I live so I always go there because it is extremely convenient. The selection is good, the produce and fruit is fresh, and the service is great. They have a great selection of frozen foods as well. Also their deli makes really tasty sandwhiches! Of course they have a delivery option but I take one star off because they do not accept credit cards and sometimes their ATM hasn’t worked (even though it is a new looking) so you better go here with enough cash for what you need.
