Incredible personal service and knowledgeable staff. Place is also clean and airy. You don’t have to worry banging into or tripping over any displays while you browse the wines. Tony and his staff are wonderful, they treat you like family. This is how every business should operate!

I was visiting NYC for a few days and was looking for a liquor store nearby… this place did not disappoint. I’ve never seen some of the bottle sizes and selections they had.
Picked up a nice inconspicuous bottle of cognac for some late night sippin’
Everyone here is so pleasant, helpful, and knowledgable.
Whenever I’m back in the city, I’ll be getting my liquor/​wine here!

I was devastated when East Village Wine & Liquors moved out of their Stanton St location but they are back at an even better Clinton location. They have a friendly and helping staff, wide selection of wine and spirits, and they frequently have wine tastings as well.
A few weeks ago I needed some help picking a sweet red for making Sangria and they found me a tasty and inexpensive bottle that made a fantastic batch. There’s also a great Malbec from Chile or Argentina to be found for $ 9 – 10. Ask for a suggestion and you won’t be disappointed.

Great selection of wines and spirits, The staff is very helpful. I was looking for California wines for a party and they helped me immensely, plus offered a nice discount. Will definitely be back! The new location is gorgeous.

East Village Wines & Liquors is back and looks shinier than ever.
They’re not necessarily newcomers to the neighborhood, but they’ve packed their liquor bottles and headed a few stops down with shiny new and modern outpost. Same lovely people, but a more updated look and feel.
They have a decent array of wines that range from values ($ 10+) to more pricey alternatives for those festive occasions (Veuve and what have you in the hundreds of dollars). They also have a decent airplane bottle selection which never disappoints.
If you live in the ‘hood, you should feel stoked these guys moved in. They’re so nice, chances are you’ll be friends in no time.
