East Side Cleaners

Took a black and white stripe dress here. Picked it up on time and when I got home realized that some of the black from the collar had stained the white. Brought it back the next day and the guy agreed to clean it again to remove the residue at no charge, but made no promises. Picked it up 3 days later and it was fine. Prices are reasonable as well.

Worst owner ever. I simply asked about a couple missing Brooks Brothers shirts and he has the audacity to flip out on me on a Monday morning. Completely loser. Go across the street to Gracie Cleaners.

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PLACE!!! I brought things in and they came back dirtier than when I brought them in. Wanted my money back. No way. Wanted the name and number of the owner. Nope. Don’t go even look in the window.

I personally think this is a good place — equally as good as my old guy downtown (whom I do miss — Chris French — Peace). The owner of this establishment is great — very nice gentleman who strikes me as a no-​nonsense guy running a good business. Kudos.

Just this morning i took in my wash and fold. But the didn’t meet the 10lbs requirement.
Fine, i was totally okay with that. i understand this is his buisness and the machines need a certain amount to run properly… not my first time dropping off.
even though i’m a regular here. and only this time i had a small load i had usually been droppping $ 40-​$ 50 at this place each visit.
I had happen to have more to meet the requirement but before i could tell him that the owner tells me «if you bring only 8lbs just go to the chinese place» pointing around the corner.
What the H***? I’ve been a regular at your place and you’re going to tell me the leave? it was a simple matter all you had to say was that i had to bring 10lbs at least.
he proceeded to tell me that my parents had raised me wrong when i pointed out the fact that he was being rude to tell me to go somewhere else cause i didn’t bring enough.
it would have ended well if he had simply just said i needed 2 more lbs and to come back another day…

the best in the neighborhood, although its a pain to go out of my way to go there its better than using all the other ones near me. i have used 7 dry cleaners around me… my clothes come back great.

do NOT use these cleaners.
they do not keep their word.
they do not deliver on time.
they charge what everyone else charges and they lie.
they also do not answer the phone.
