Cool place. A couple picnic tables, a baseball field & batting cages, a bike trail that runs alongside the FDR for a stretch(I think also the same one that takes you over the williamsburg bridge. Double check). Sweet sunrise spot if I were up at that ungodly hour. I say this because the arch of the stage faces pure east, they definitely considered the prospective views when they built this. Just check it out. You have to cross the bridge to get to the amphitheatre area/water, you might not see it at first. Its on the left rear side of the park if you were standinfga cross the street facing it. Another thing. 4PM Sundays. Beginner parkour class at the amphitheatre, come through! Hardcore workout, empower your miiiiindddd

One of New York’s best kept secrets. Great little park, newly revamped: tennis courts, amphitheatre, dog run. Really a little gem!

An awesome little outdoor ampitheatre in the East River Park, long abandoned and now revitalized. All summer the East River Music Project puts on great shows with local bands, that are free for everyone. A nice way to spend a sunny weekend afternoon!
