The pharmacy is unprofessional. I mean, the guy working the desk is wearing a hoodie over his head while he is waiting on customers. Doesn’t anyone who manages this place notice this?

Please. this was HORRENDOUS. My mom and I waited over 30 minutes for her to get a flu shot, only to find out that our health insurance did not cover it! The people at the pharmacy were rude, and not great at working the amount of people in need of a flu shot.

Call the pharmacy, am told (by a person not machine) my Rx will be ready in 25 minutes, get there 2 hours later and am told they have to order it and don’t have it in stock. Pretty much the same thing happened twice before. Not returning again after giving 2nd and 3rd chance. Horrible.

The store itself is fine but not sure about the pharmacists. I’ve gone to fill a prescription twice now and both times, one of the pills was missing (the pills were of a controlled substance that’s known to be addictive unless taken as prescried). If this had happened once, I’d understand and consider it a mistake but since it’s happened twice, it kinda makes me wonder what’s going on there

THE WORST!!! — tried ordering a refill of a prescription and, first the automatic phone system was down for second day in a row so called to speak to pharmacist and waited on phone literally more than half an hour as extensions rang with no one picking up and occasionally some staff person answering saying they couldn’t help and would transfer me to pharmacist, and again a phone ringing for five minutes with no one answering. Switching entire family’s prescriptions to CVS today!!!

My favorite Duane Reade in the city. A huge variety, and I can find my favorite shampoo in this store!
I like how there is an upstairs section too. it got my lost because it’s so big!
Also friendly staff and there’s parking always outside (if you double park in front of the bus stop lol)
