I have going to Dr Day for over 15 years. She is a brilliant dermatologist !!! She does my botox and I love it. She is kind and explains everything. Would highly recommend her. She is the best dermatologist in NYC. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. .

I have been a patient of Dr. Doris Day for several years now. Dr. Day and her staff provide incredible service, are exceptionally knowledgable and extremely accommodating in any situation. Her treatments and custom products have transformed my skin. In my opinion, she is definitely one of the best dermatologists in New York. Thanks, Dr. Day!

From the moment i walked in, pleasant. Attentive staff. Also, met someone in waiting area — tv personality — who was the most beautful person externally and internally. Dr Day was lovely. A procedure ive had in past with another nd was virtually painless. I still havevto wait 5 days to see the results though.

Dr. Day and her staff were very extremely professional. I was seen right away. It was my first time seeing Dr. Day and she was extremely knowledgeable and professional. It’s obvious by her caring manner that she is truly compassionate for her patients and loves what she does. Highly recommended!!!

Dr. Day is a gifted doctor with excellent attention to detail. I made my appointment for an entirely different matter, however, Dr. Day immediately noticed a subtle facial twitch I have had for more than 20 years. I never knew anything could be done for it until I met her on my first appointment. Dr. Day was confident that botox would eliminate the muscle twitch as well as help to lift weaker areas on the left side of my face leading to a more balanced symmetrical look. She was right. After 3 – 4 days the muscle twitch was about 95% gone! I went back to see her for my follow up appointment two weeks later and she injected a tiny bit more. It is now 100% gone! Dr. Day is more than a dermatologist. She is also an artist in many ways with a talent for noticing facial muscle imbalances and knowing precisely where to inject helping her clients look their absolute best. I will continue to commute from Westchester to see her. It is so worth it. I cannot believe what I have learned from her in just two appointments and I am thrilled with the amazing results I never even knew were possible for me!

Dr. Day and her staff are AMAZING!!! I have been going there for a few months now for various treatments, and I have to say her and her team are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I am always greeted right away with a smile, her staff really listens to my needs to make the best skin treatment recommendation, and Dr. Day’s bedside manner is great! (she’s extremely genuine and humble for such a renowned dermatologist). I am photographed a lot for my job and wouldn’t trust my face in anyone else’s hands.
I am excited to have finally found an office I am comfortable with and would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Dr. Day is very informative, friendly, and professional. She was honest and helpful and clearly addressed my concerns. On top of that she is funny and has a great sense of humor. Her staff is very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr Day and her whole team are very nice and professional. She spent quite awhile with me addressing my concerns and helping me plan for my future. She is the best at what she does and it shows by the way she looks at the whole picture long term. I will gladly put my face in her hands.
In regards to other reviewers. Yes they do have skin care products they suggest but as a woman who spends a fortune at sephora trying to find the right products I would much rather get her recommendations and save the pain and cost of trying stuff that does not work. You are not forced or even pushed to buy anything.

I have been going to Dr. Day for the past several years and have seen great improvement in my skin. She is always right on target with what needs to be addressed, whether medical or cosmetic. Her office and staff are always friendly and available, and I have no problem scheduling appointments. I would recommend Dr. Day to any of my friends.

Needed to update my review as I like to keep them current especially when I read other Unilocalers whose opinions seem to be on the other end of the spectrum.
I have been seeing Dr. Day for light laser procedures for the last two years — as recently as this past week.
I waited no more than 10 minutes, (which is the norm every time I have been there) She did the quick laser procedure and I was done! I did want to discuss some other things that i have read/​heard about and was interested in having.
As always, Dr. Day was attentive, professional, listened to my concerns & questions and was sweet as can be. She is considered one of the leading cosmetic dermatologist in the country and all these negatives reviews are clearly from those who — how should I say this? Are probably taking a bridge or tunnel to get to the city.
I know that Unilocal is to share your own personal experience, but after reading some of these reviews, I just have to laugh… one woman talked about the ENORMOUS cost of a consultation, $ 250.00? Really, if you consider $ 250.00 high for a consultation with one of the leading dermatologists in the country, then I suggest you stay n Vermont :)
I just cant help but think that some of these patients are not familiar with going to a high end cosmetic dermatologist and/​or maybe expecting a more «fuzzy» experience, although I always have found Dr. Day to be exceptionally warm and friendly.
This is NYC cosmetic dermatology people… stop your whining, pick-​up your big girl panties and pass me the Botox– stat!

I went to see dr. Day last week. I found her «medical assistant» most unfriendly and unapproachable. She is the first person you see at the office and makes it a negative first impression. Once dr day came by I just wanted to leave. I realized there was a problem when I booked the appointment because they were very concerned I pay first the $ 200 for the visit. Very expensive and there are a lot better dermatologists in NY

The doctor only came in for a minute, foot literally out the door. She makes the consultant do all the talking, decisions and work. So what does Doris Day do in the office? Dont know. I wanted a peel and she suggested a take home that did absolutely nothing but i paid top dollar. Im the sucker.

Is it normal for the dermatologist to make you wait 45 minutes? Is it normal for her to then enter the room and stand 5 feet away from you, stare briefly at your face, while she «assesses» your skin without even greeting you, and begins listing products for conditions you didn’t know you had? I don’t know the answers to these questions, but in any case the visit was very off-​putting, and Dr. Day had the creepy air of a celebrity/​television doctor. My experience felt extremely un-​thorough and the entire duration of her talking AT me instead of WITH me took about 5 minutes. I’m definitely going somewhere else, I’m just sorry my insurance had to cover the enormous $ 250 initial visit fee.
Pros: They were able to schedule me within the week. Now, I understand why.

DD is primarily interested in making $ and it shows. She spends maybe 5 mins/​patient. Rx needed changing to generic, took days to get response from assistant to pharmacy. Attention to pt. needs abhorant, unless she is selling procedures. Not a derm, but a pr/​saleswoman.

I have had botox MANY times with different doctors and each one left me with the «Spock» eyes.
I was miserable with my forehead lines so I did a ton of research and decided to try Dr. Doris Day. She gave me injections of dysport (a form of botox) and the results are AMAZING! She was kind, smart and the outcome is miraculous. I highly recommend this woman to everyone. She is the best by far!

Dr Doris Day came highly recommended as a dermatologist many years ago. I have found her practice very professional, helpful and friendly. She is a comforting entity and communicative with her patients. Needless to say I still use her to this day and recommend her as well!

Dr. Day is the absolute best! She has helped me so many times with different skin issues. Smart, beautiful, kind, patient, understanding +++ but best of all a great friend.

She didn’t do anything for me. SHORT 1 minute consultation and then the assistant wanted me to buy a $ 250 cream they sell-​of course– and other creams they sell at her office.
Never again. Better to go to another dermatologist.

Dr. Day is obviously much more important than me. She spent less than 30 seconds in the same room as me, and she prescribed the wrong dose of medicine. Not worth the very high price at all.
