There was this DVD that I liked. It talked about the landmarks and history of Paris (Sandrine Voilet Paris). However, since the BBC are a bunch of assholes, the DVD was Region 2, meaning that it wouldn’t play on American DVD’s. I was so pissed. Fortunately, I found out that there are places in the city that convert Region 2 DVD’s to Region 1 (American). Through a meticulous search, I found DOI.
DOI is a tiny store right next to Grand Central. It cost me $ 35 and the job took 3 days. There was a slight decline in the quality of the resolution, but the DVD was still watchable.
