Was so excited when I came across the Diptyque boutique one day out of coincidence. Long story short, wasn’t thrilled.
It’s really small, the selection really isn’t any different from what you’d find in department stores (where I find it’s better to buy especially if you carry a store card as your purchase will accumulate store points) and the ambiance just wasn’t what I expected.
Only reason why I give 4 stars is because the staff was super helpful and did not pressure me at all. Also, their quality and elegance just can’t get less than four stars. My review is for the store, not the product.
Stick to Neimans, Nordstrom etc in my opinion.

A young sales person was so sweetly patient in helping me find a candle for a new baby’s room, that I picked out two. Her older colleague was so grumpy I almost did not buy them.

I love me some Diptyque. Their candles are the absolute best. So incredibly fragrant. Just lighting one makes my whole apartment smell delicious. I visited a few minutes before they closed and wish the associates would have spent more time with me and made recommendations. I just ended up walking out with a full sized Baies candle. So delicious, in fact, it’s on right now.

Amazing! When you first go in the store, the senses are awaken. The candles are super expensive but worth every penny. Even when the candle isn’t burning, it still smells up the room with the most delicious scent. My favorite scent is Myrrhe but I love Baies, Fig, Santal too. The scented ovals will perfume your closet or bathroom perfectly.
The perfumes are amazing, L’ombré is a staple for me. It’s the most balanced scent.
The Diffuser is fab as well as the body oil.
Ok, as you can tell, I know this store well and spent way too much money.

I really really looooooooooooooooooooooooooove their candles and diffuser — a total fan!
Beautiful packaging and large range of scents here.
Not to mention you can find their skincare line that you wouldn’t be able to find at Barneys CO OP.
I took away one star only because its a small space and with this many scents floating around — its really hard to determine what you’re smelling unless you were just purchasing your usual scents.
