I’m a big fan of diptyque. Honestly who isn’t. But instore customer service can really make or break a purchase. I had been trying to pick up my birthday candle all March, but was shrugged off by other locations. I’d like to say thank you to Steve and Jose of the Columbus Circle location for really making a lovely experience. They went above and beyond to help me locate a birthday candle. The experience was so special, I couldn’t help but leave with a few more candles:)

I was in here a few nights ago and the luxury experience must have had the day off. The employees seemed put upon that I had interrupted their rather inappropriate work conversation. My item was thrown in a bag, no tissue, no nada. I could’ve ordered it on Amazon if I wanted that service. When you go somewhere like this you have different expectations. I usually go to Bleecker Street and that has always been a treat, This location was most definitely a chore. Never again.

Wow!!! All i have to say is that Steve who is the store manager and the others working at the store in Columbus Circle have the best customer service in any store in Manhattan. They took care of a return I had and were sooooo helpful in getting me what i wanted instead. I LOVE Diptyque candles but now I even love the brand more bc of their amazing customer service. I will only shop for my candles at that store going forward. Thank you Steve, you are truly a 5 star operation.

I went with my boyfriend to watch the balloons get blown up for the Thanksgiving Day parade and stopped in to this location for a gift for my boyfriends mom. The store is just gorgeous and Steven and Matt where so knowledgable and helpful to me! I wound up purchasing a baies candle and some soaps! Love, love love this store! I will be back for some Christmas goodies soon!

The store manager provided incorrect information and overcharged me upwards of hundreds of dollars. The manager Steven is awful and RUDE. He does not treat customers or his coworkers(which i witnessed while in the store) with respect and provided awful customer service. I was misquoted multiple times for an item and did not even receive an apology. If your prices changed in September, then why are you STILL quoting the old prices in May? Store Manager Steven is unprofessional and does not live up to the company’s image. It’s really disappointing that this location is so subpar compared to the other locations in manhattan. Learn your products and brand. If I were you, go to Bleecker or Upper East Side where someone will actually give you the«experience» that you are paying for and not treat you like a credit card for them to simply swipe their next sale. I’ve been an evangelist for Diptyque for the last 5 years, literally spending thousands and thousands of dollars at their stores. Columbus Circle has lost one of it’s most profitable customers.

This is my favorite location. I’ve gotten great advice and service from the staff, even though I received the product as a gift. It motivated me enough to come back and make a purchase myself. They made me feel like a person and I will definitely be back when I have the money again! Expensive? Yes. Even so, I highly recommend this place. Guys – get one of their woodsy scents for your bachelor pad!
