I’m a member here and I really enjoy that. At first, the approach they take to get new clients in made me very skeptical, as if they were a business just trying to take people’s money. That completely changes when you become a member, which is pricey but worth it. When you meet with the estheticians, they really help you and if you tips to help your appearance. The products that they offer really helped too. If it is within your price range, it is definitely worth it. I’ve gained a ton of knowledge on my skin. I used to go to the 5th avenue location and they started sending me to this one, which is very convenient to get to.

I went to Desheli to get a free facial. They ran the diagnostic test to look at my pores microscopically while I still had foundation and makeup on my face. After the facial, the make-up consultant wanted me to give her a list of friends to refer and adds«oh and my manager thinks I did a really bad job if I don’t get at least 10 referrals.» the consultant asked me if I am interested in the product and after stating that I like to do my research before investing $ 2500 into something I know little about, she still tried to have me speak to the coordinator. the coordinator HIGHLY pressured me into buying the product and told me that they are very fair and will allow me 40 days to think about my decision and cancel it if I’m not happy. And for me to come in a few days to receive a more thorough and free facial so that I can really test the products. I said«okay that sounds fair enough.» The coordinator then takes me into another room to have another female run a credit check on me and while running the credit check they ask for my credit card information and before I realize what is happening, she basically sign me up to make monthly installment payments of $ 139 for the product and everyone welcomes me into the program and then the consultant hands me this huge kit filled with products. A few minutes later after leaving that room, the consultant tells me to use two products in the kit. 1 to wash my face and another to moisturize everyday until my appointment for the more extensive facial. And that during that facial, I would be explained thoroughly how to use the other products in the kit. when I arrive home and read the copy of the contract given to me. I read that I have 7 days(NOT40) to return the kit and that if I had opened anything or waited after the 7 days, I would be charged a 15% restocking fee. So basically these sales people tried to lure me into opening the product and giving me an appointment for a thorough facial to try and keep me occupied during the 7 day period and charge me the 15% fee which would be $ 375. I went back to this place in two days to return everything and the receptionist told me that I needed an appointment to cancel. they had me wait a long time to see the manager who was the same coordinator who pressured me into buying the product. after complaining about the long wait, one of the girls who works there basically tell me that people usually call before being serviced and that in fact they are doing ME a favor since I have arrived there after 5pm. Mind you, this place closes at 9pm and I arrived at 7:30pm. These people are ridiculous and shameless. I did not leave that place without a receipt that I had returned the treasure kit. This place is a complete scam! And unless you are already employed they do not even give you a free facial. What I hate most about this place is that after they try to scam you, they act like they cannot be bothered with nonsense such as accepting a return. Like are you kidding me? I need to make an appointment to cancel? Obviously they will try to set-up the appointment after the 7 days are up. And the fact that a worker told me they were doing ME a favor for accepting my return without an appointment. These people really have a lot of audacity.

I received a phone call offering me a free facial, I was going to hang up as I would normally on any telemarketing calls but the gentleman I spoke with was very nice, down to earth and convincing of the quality of service and 90 minuts of pampering I was sure to receive. He described it as a relaxing spa service, I agreed to take the free facial as they did not ask for any other information besides my name and appointment time. I asked and he reassured me several times that they just want people to try the line and purchase(optionally) at the end if I like it, and this was 100% true. However, it’s NOT90 minutes of pampering and was no where near a relaxing spa service. It was more like being at a business meeting to start, then you lay on the table and the«facial» begins, lights are on and its a very clinical corporate type facility. It was not a facial ITWASTHEMGIVINGYOU A TRIALOFTHEIRPRODUCTLINE. I’m OK with that but it should have been clarified and further more they should have older more experienced people providing this service if they expect you to buy 6000 dollars worth of anti aging products at the end, the young woman who provided my facial was very good she was professional. However, the closer who comes in to actually sell you the products was of zero help and had an attitude, I had a few questions and one of them was«why are the products this expensive? I have a dermatologist and a plastic surgeon who sell phenomenal skin care at a fraction of the cost.» Her answer was«well do they give you a «diagnostic? «I said«yes». She responds«they let you see the layers of your skin on a computer?» I was confused because this girl didn’t seem to understand that a doctor is the diagnostic part, and gives you the diagnosis and treatment. Anyway, the closer seemed completely uneducated and was talking to me as if I was missing the point of her pitch, she failed to realize I’m a licensed cosmetologist and anyone who can afford 6000 worth of products must have a good occupation which usually means an education so truth is if your selling that level of goods super high end you really need to have very smart and nice people selling them, not someone wearing jeggings and a name tag.
