Food here is always good. Always. never had a bad meal. High quality steak that is soft and delicious. The ribs are insane. The wraps are great. Eating here for like 15 years. Highly recommend.

This restaurant had terrible service. There was a decent crowd at the restaurant, but that was no excuse to have a party of four wait over an hour for our food. I had the 12 oz. Argentinian rib-eye steak, which appeared significantly smaller than the same steak my brother got. The meat was tough, salty and most certainly not any more enjoyable with their supposed secret steak sauce. They forgot to bring out our sides until we reminded them twice. The waiters were also very unfriendly. Will not return.

Horrible service and poor quality of food. Don’t recommend it. The steak meat was tough and it looks like we didn’t get the choice of meat we ordered.

The name on the door is not the same name that is online; «deli» is not written anywhere in the physical restaurant. The food is ok. My chicken was dry. They brought out the wrong order. They also took 45 minutes to bring my sisters food. I was almost done with mine as it would have been cold and dry if I had waited for hers to be ready. Kosher is kosher and the pita is great but a no go for me… I’ll be extra generous and give a two

This place was really great. Everything we ordered was tasty and fresh. The Mediterranean salad was really good(fresh warm pita, hummus, two types of eggplant, etc), as was the hot pastrami on rye. Ambiance was authentic, and the video of the Rabbi in the background was pretty cool too. I’m happy that we ignored the few iffy reviews and trusted the good ones. Looking forward to coming back!

Order from here at least once a week. Good steaks for delivery standards — delivery is always on time.

Excellent kosher food that rivals even the more luxurious and expensive establishments. The interesting environment is definitely a good conversation topic. The rumaki and Brazilian steak are fantastic. Definitely would recommend if you want quality food but are not looking for a fancy sit down dinner.

Shnitzel is great, kufta is not. Israeli salad is great and so are mashed potatoes. Delivery tends to be slow.

I ordered sushi this evening and it arrived quickly. However between the price and quality it was less than mediocre. I paid 40+ for three small portions. I had ordered the cones instead of the rolls(by mistake– automatic setting) which they charged $ 6.45 per, but the portions were shockingly small, not nearly enough to justify the price. Other than that the rice was soggy and my friends and I are still hungry! I cant speak for the rest of the menu, but I would avoid ordering sushi here by all means! It is an embarrassment to the establishment.

Since we dislike the crowd and noise,. we ordered in. Two problems: the otherwise delicious chicken dishes were over-peppered(ground black pepper), and we received double our order. It was straightened out easily, however, and we got a credit for returning the uneaten portions.

I don’t ever usually post reviews for anywhere that I eat. However, my experience with Kasbah Grill is one worthy of a post. My roommate and I decided to order take out from here for the first time. Their menu online seemed like the food was amazing. Initially, when we ordered and tried everything — my roommate got the NYC mix grill while I got the Hamelech burger– it tasted great. After eating a quarter of my sandwich I found in my mouth was a bird’s feather. I immediately spit it up and basically threw up. I thought that the one bird feather would be all. But, my roommate decided to open the burger to see if everything inside was fine and if there were any other feathers. Sure enough, we found another feather cooked on top of my Hamelech burger. Of course, I was nauseous. We stopped eating the rest of our food and decided to call up the restaurant. I demanded for my cash back despite the fact that they only usually do refunds over card. The manager asked for us to save all the food and give back to him once the delivery boy showed up with our money. Once the delivery boy got here, he had to call back his manager where he decided that he wasn’t going to give us our money back because our food was half eaten.(Obviously it was half eaten, how was I supposed to know there was going to be a bird feather in the food?!) I ended up calling him again and warned him that I’d sue, where he finally decided to give us a full refund. This place is disgusting. I recommend not going here ever unless you want to find multiple bird feathers in your food.

The food here is decent(maybe 3 stars) but as a resident of the upper west side I’m disgusted by their garbage management practices and can no longer patronize a restaurant that clearly doesn’t care about the neighborhood. They leave poorly contained garbage bags all over the sidewalk. It stinks and you can see the mice running to and from in the morning. You don’t see this from any other restaurant. It’s pure laziness. Get your act together.

Terrific kosher food and tons of options! I usually get one of the meat entrees. Big portions of meat with veggies and choice of a side. Bodybuilder’s dream. Sushi isn’t great, but this is a deli, so didn’t have high expectations. Delivery comes quickly and hot. What a spot!

I had chicken soup, a hot pastrami sandwich on rye and a Dr. Brown diet cream soda. {;us the complimentary pickles and cole slaw. I thought it was excellent. The menu had a lot of choices and the friends I went with, who observe the laws of kashrut, said it is their favorite. The pastrami is better than Second Avenue Deli, for sure.

Best chicken and shnitzel avocado wraps! The mashed potatoes and/or French fries are delicious! I have been here with people who don’t keep kosher and they loved the food! Best part– if you say a dvar torah(words of torah) to the waiter/mashigiach, you get a free dessert!

My friend suggested we meet there and I am so glad we did! Iconic spot with footage and photos dedicated to the Chabad Rebbe and philosophy. For those of you not into that, chalk it up to a cultural experience. We got a free appetizer for liking their Facebook page. The BBQ Beef Rolls were crispy and so tasty. The adult version of hotdogs in a blanket. My friends and I all polished off our plates. The grilled vegetable salad topped with chicken is definitely recommended. They had a new server who mixed up our order and then our check. It was all exchanged quickly without any fuss. The restaurant is just so entertaining and fun to be in that it was not a big deal. My friend assured me that it had never happened to her before and she goes there a lot. The décor is cozy. Red brick walls with dark wood. It reminded me of a caravan. It was an hilarious evening– the host gave us coins to give to charity AND we got a free dessert for saying a Dvar Torah(a meaningful blurb/lesson on Torah/Judaism). Also, getting a freebie dessert puts you in a good mood.

If you can get past the continual propaganda this place is great for burgers, sandwiches and steak. I took my father there last Thursday night, he had the pastrami burger and I had the BBQ roast beef sandwich. It was good and relatively reasonable(about $ 17 per sandwich). The service was decent, our food took about 30 min, but there were a few bigger parties around us so that was likely the reason why. What I mean by propaganda is that you are surrounded by pictures and videos of «The Rebbe» or Rabbi Scheerson. If you’re not Chabad/Lubavitch, it could be a bit much.
