Decor Art Gallery

I went to Décor because I needed a magazine article framed, and they’re conveniently located less than a block from my apartment. I went in two weeks before Christmas to get an article framed for my parents as a gift, and an additional one for myself. I was immediately assisted by a man (I assume he’s the owner) and he helped me choose colors, backing, etc. I found the perfect shade of pink that matched with the theme of the article I was framing, and I chose a great real color for my parents gift. I paid for both, and was told they’d be ready in a week and that he would call when they could be picked up.
A week later when I hadn’t heard from them, I stopped by the store to pick them up and was told they weren’t done but to come back in a few hours. When I did, I was presented with one frame that was what we agreed on, and another with a completely different hot pink that couldn’t have been farther from what we had agreed on. When he presented it to me, he didn’t flinch, and it wasn’t until I pointed it out that he admitted noticing the mistake. He said it would take an additional week to get it to me because he had to special order the correct backing, which didn’t make sense since he said they don’t do them in house.
I called 3 weeks later after the holidays and was told it would be ready two days later. When I stopped in two weeks later, it will wasn’t done and I was told to come back at 4pm. I came back a couple days later and walked in and was told I’d be helped in a moment (after a younger guy was finished completing the text message he was writing).
So I finally got the article, and while it looks beautiful, the I unprofessionalism and disrespectful way I was treated as a customer is why my rating is on the lower side. Custom Framing isn’t cheap, and having paid in advance for both pieces, I felt taken advantage of which isn’t an ideal customer experience. I will definitely take my business elsewhere in the future.

I shopped around a lot to find a well-​rated and reasonably-​priced place to get my canvas stretched. So glad I went with Décor and Yosef. He answered all of my questions and did a great job on the painting. With the Unilocal coupon, I paid less than $ 60 for Décor to gallery wrap my 30“x 40″ canvas. Better yet, Décor delivered it in less than 24 hours after I dropped it off (instead of a few days as promised). he definitely under-​promised and over-​delivered. I’m a very happy customer and will be coming back.

I walked into Décor Art Gallery not really knowing what I wanted to buy for my boyfriend’s birthday. They took the time to show me different pieces of artwork, as well as explain the different kinds of framing. I decided to use a photo from the internet. They then sat with me and created this awesome picture using acrylic photography. They did a really excellent job! Highly recommended!

Worked with Yosef and he was INCREDIBLE! I went to numerous shops to compare and he is the best one out there! Really went above and beyond to make my frame a piece of artwork. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to frame something, or turn a keepsake into a framed work of art. He’s really willing to work with your ideas and make them even more creative. It was all done super timely and they safely shipped the frame as a gift to California from NYC.

This place is so good. This was my second time using them to frame something, and I was so impressed both times.
They are a little on the pricey side, but hey, its really hard to argue with the price when the quality is so good and the people are SO professional. Don’t have enough good things to say.

We came to Décor Art Gallery with a severely damaged (but highly treasured) poster that we were sure we would have to replace – we were pleasantly surprised when Yosef said that he could salvage this sentimental favorite and unbelievably impressed when it was returned to us looking better than new. We have had several other pieces framed at Décor Art Gallery and each one has been delivered to our apartment quickly (and for free!) looking better than we could have imagined. We will never go anywhere else!

The guys at Décor are super friendly and very helpful! I came in with a unique print with hand deckled edges and wanted to showcase them, rather than hiding them under a matte. They recommended a deeper frame and utilizing posterboard to prop the print up, giving it depth and really making it pop! Couldn’t be happier with the result and would absolutely go back again.

Our production studio at work was discarding some calibration prints (match prints) and it struck me that they’d look cool on my bare living room wall. I grabbed them and headed a few blocks up 3^rd to the Décor Art Gallery. They’re perfect! (Check out the pic I posted.) The guy who helped me was dead-​on with his white-​on-​white recommendation. They even double-​wired the back so I choose which side is up. I couldn’t believe the free delivery (I live at Kips Bay). They were extremely well-​packed and arrived sooner than estimated. Perfect transaction! Will definitely return

If you need a great, attentive and friendly customer service, professional and fast work — this place is a gem! I’ve been working with this guys for a few months and happy to know there is a place I can call with a rush order and have it done within an hour same day. Will and Yosef are the guys who operate the shop. They always help you to find an optimal solution via price. They basically saved my order today cutting custom matting boards for my prints within an hour I walked in all stressed because of a deadline.

Yosof was so great in helping us out. Really awesome service, extremely quick and great quality mounting. Highly recommended and awesome other works of art to see, classic, modern, etc. FYI I’m 24, plenty of cool works for that age as well.

Will and the rest of the team here are great! I emailed in an image I wanted to have blown up and framed. They were extremely helpful in deciding what size frame, how big the image should be, and what type of finish it should have. Oh, and they were able to get it done by the end of the week! I was originally looking to do this online but I am so glad I didn’t. The finished product was amazing and I am so happy I came here. Would 100% recommend this place to others!

I came in with an obscure task of framing 3 sets of pictures in license plate holders and was unsure if it was even possible. They were up to the task and did it beautifully! They listened to my ideas and gave creative input. Not only that, I came in on the Saturday before Christmas (¹²⁄₂₂) and they framed everything by the next day before I had to head out of town. I am a very happy customer… I will definitely be going back here for all of my framing and printing needs!

Came here because I had a horrible experience at the frame shop a block south of this place. I’m glad I did! The owner here was extremely nice and walked us through many different options for canvas stretching and framing. I told him what the man from Galleria on Third was trying to charge us and he laughed and gave us very reasonable prices. When I got my canvas print back stretched and framed I was very impressed and it makes a great piece for our living room. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the Murray Hill area looking for great (honest) customer service and very reasonable prices for framing.
