Dr. Haight is absolutely wonderful. I have been thinking about getting Lasek for years and finally got around to it earlier this year. My friend recommended him to me; he did a great job on her.
When I saw the Dr for a consultation, he was very knowledgeable, personable, and took the time to explain everything to me. When it was time for the surgery, he identified a discrepancy between his measurements and those of the machine. Rather than taking the easy way out and operate per machine recommendation, he took the time to find out why there is a discrepancy, and worked with the vendor to change the settings to something that would work for me. Finally, the Dr scheduled many follow ups to make sure everything is ok (at no extra cost… all included in the one time charge).
It is refreshing to find a Dr who seems to actually cares. My vision is almost ²⁰⁄₂₀ now and I can see really well at night (which is important since I drive). Lasek is everything it promised to be and absolutely worth it.
