Do not see this man. I moved here from out of state and needed a new dermatologist. I’d been using a mild treatment protocol for a skin condition that has worked successfully for 15 years. I went to Dr. Dantzig to continue that treatment. He refused to refill my prescription for the mild medication. Instead, he insisted on a more aggressive, more expensive, riskier drug and a series of follow-​up appointments – that wouldn’t have been necessary on the milder drug. I didn’t feel comfortable with his aggressive plan. I called my old doctor from out of state to get her advice. She suggested I see someone else. I am doing just that.

I have seen him at least a dozen times and never waited for more than 5 minutes; usually, for morning appointments, there’s no wait at all. He always takes my concerns very seriously and takes a lot of time to see me. Probably one of the best doctors I’ve ever met.

I just filed a police report against this creep. He took me into his office and asked me to sit next to him on the opposite chair. He asked me why I was there which I found odd because I handed him the information form after I filled it out. I told him I had a skin tag on my back. He said take off your shirt, so I can see it. I felt very uncomfortable because there was not a nurse in the room with me and he did not provide me with a gown. I turned away and tried to maneuver my blouse so I would not have to take it off, just lift it up. He kept shouting at me take off your shirt, take off your shirt,. I don’t have x ray vision !! I unbuttoned the front and was about to just show him my back but I felt very uneasy about the situation so I grabbed my bag and told him that he is very unprofessional. He screamed to me YOU ARE A TRAMP, GET OUT OF MY OFFICE, YOU ARE A TRAMP GET OUT AND NEVER COME BACK YOU TRAMP. I ran out with my blouse half off and he was still screaming at me as I ran past the receptions. I left the building and immediately called the police.

Dr. Dantzig is terrible! His office is like a cattle factory where he will see you as quickly as possible with the goal of getting paid to do as little work as possible. I went there 4 times and each visit was straight out of the film Groundhog Day. I would walk in and he’d give me the exact same prescription and advice… despite me telling him that he told me the same thing the last time and his prescription didn’t work. And his classic line is «come back in 2 weeks.». After 4 visits and far worse skin, I just decided to cut my loses. On the bright side he’s extremely flexible and can squeeze you in without much of a problem. Overall, I would not recommend Dr.Dantzig. Go to him at your own risk… you’ve certainly been warned.

I have to say Dr. Dantzig is a great dermatologist. I have gone to him for all sorts of reasons, from removing skin tags around my neck, to laser broken blood vessel capillaries on my face and every time with spectacular results. He will squeeze you in for last minute appointments and you never have to wait more than a few minutes when you arrive and I was always in and out in a flash, which is what I love most because I can take care of things before work since he opens up very early at 7:30am during the week. I am also gonna have Botox done for underarm sweating soon which I never knew that it can actually treat that problem until Dr. Dantzig told me about it. I have had all my life and it’s so annoying for a woman especially that I am always sweating in the summer. So, I wanted to express my opinion that I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Dantzig and his professionalism.
