The food was not that great. Would not go back for anything in the world.

Daimaru replaced our Japanese standby, Kaijou. The new management is disturbing. They serve up attitude and ignorance in their own menu. And they will nickel and dime you when you aren’t double checking the bill. Typically, I just sign, believing the company to be upstanding. This is a very big mistake when it comes to Daimaru. When I received delivery, they double charged me for an entrée. When I called to let them know, I received attitude and an explanation that I asked for an extra ingredient. When I explained that I did not ask for an extra ingredient, that vegetables are part of the Yaki Udon, he still tried to charge me more. He ended the call with, «I’ll fix it. You don’t have to give me so much attitude.» Ten minutes later, he called back saying he made a mistake and would revise it if I would give him my credit card information again and sign when the delivery guy comes back. At this point his correction doesn’t matter. It was a hassle and not what I was expecting when I just wanted some simple take out from my old standby. Do not go to this restaurant. Support your local businesses who want to support their customers.
