I plan to visit soon as whenever I travel to Florida I make it a point to visit the company store at Miromar Outlets and stock up with the products I use on a regular basis. If you use Estee Lauder and affiliated products you should definitely visit this company store. The savings are tremendous.

Always stocking up — broke now. What the hell do I buy here? Why do I have to be so beauty obsessed — this place seriously makes me go nuts and I just buy everything that I don’t need. I load up on my serums, moisturizers and eye cream.

Amazing perk for those working in the GM Building, and an even greater perk for Estee Lauder employees. Product on the shelves is different every week but offerings usually include a plethora of ELC products from Bumble & bumble, to MAC, to Bobbi Brown… make sure you familiarize yourself with the purchasing rules beforehand(i.e. maximum dollar amount/day, products/day, etc) before visiting the store.

I went at lunch today and felt sheepish walking to the main security desk of the building. They checked my credentials(invite card and work ID) in a formal matter, and gave me a visitor’s pass. Through the pearly gates of the GM Building lobby, I descended the escalator to the Company Store. Honestly, it doesn’t look very glitzy, but they’ve got the goods. There are pre-packaged gift sets leftover from various holidays. Stand alone products: lotion, fragrance, makeup, skin care, hair care. A nice place to stock up for birthdays and Mother’s day or for yourself! Smashbox, MAC, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Origins, DKNY, Ojon, and of course Estee. There are sections for men’s grooming and fragrance as well. Examples: Bobbi Brown pot rouge 30% off. EL daywear 40% off. The products from the affiliate companies seem kind of random, so give yourself time to browse. The MAC eyeshadow colors were varied and displayed neatly, so they were easy to see and test, but lip colors were all jammed in a couple jars. They looked messy, and I didn’t want to touch them.

Estee Lauder has a company store in the depths the GM Building, that huge sterile-looking building behind the Apple Store. You need to have«special invitation cards» in order to shop here, which you must get through your company or wherever you’re working. Not sure how this is set up but I imagine it can’t be too hard. Due to some jerk trying to defraud the store, new policy is that the contact person for your company must to be the one picking up the cards. Anyway, this store is really cool! They have 10 — 40% discounted items on many different brands, either Estee Lauder affiliates or companies they’ve worked a special deal with, like Perscriptives, Bobby Brown, DKNY, Clinique, MAC, etc. Lots of perfumes too. You can only buy two of the same item at a time, and you’re only allowed to purchase $ 200 of merchandise at a time. They have a nice variety but it varies day by day since it’s a lot of overstock and discontinued items, so if you’re looking for a particular type of blush, say, they might not have it that day. The only really crappy thing about this place aside from the insane security(special cards? really?) are their hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 to 4:30ONLY. Jeez. I guess if you work nearby you can run here on a lunch break for some discounted makeup and perfume swag. Go for it!
