Sediq recently framed two special items for me, one of which was sentimental as it was from my recent engagement. Sediq was thorough in his explanations of the various framing techniques and which he recommended for my specific items. The results were fantastic and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I had originally visited a framing shop on 86 between Columbus and Amsterdam and they were snooty and didn’t seem to want to work with me. Sediq was the exact opposite. In the end I probably wound up spending more $$ than originally anticipated, but it was well worth it!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I had two expensive items framed in what I thought was a beautifully dark finished wood. A few months after getting them back to my apartment, I noticed something peeling from the frame. It was not what they had sold me in the shop! They had pasted dark laminate over some cheap plywood instead of making a full wooden frame. When I went to them with this information and showed them the frame, they were rude, dismissive, and basically laughed that they had gotten away with cheating one more person.
If you want something framed well, do not go here! They are untrustworthy and will sell you one thing, then deliver something of much lower quality.

I picked the shop because it came up on Unilocal and had good reviews. My expectations were exceeded by the gracious and professional attention that Sediq provided. Now I have a go-​to frame shop in the neighborhood. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Sediq was a pleasure to work with. I got a quote over the internet to frame a print I purchased elsewhere. When I got to the store I decided to upgrade the glass after seeing the samples. The final product was exactly as I expected and was done in a week. I will definitely go back with any future work to be done. Thanks!

Such a pleasure to deal with a professional who really knows his craft and works with the client to meet all their needs, including budget. It is doubly a pleasure to support a business that has been in the community for over 20 years. I strongly urge you to consider his store in order to keep these smaller businesses alive, which are quickly disappearing from our neighborhood.

I just launched a business selling framed artwork and read reviews about Columbus Art Gallery on Unilocal.I went to the store and met the owner, Sediq. Not only did he provide great advice and recommendations, but he also asked how I was going to handle the tax that is collected. I thanked him for pointing that out and told him that I am going to ask my accountant how it should be handled.

I had 4 museum prints to matt and frame and decided to look on Groupon for any local deals. I ended up at Columbus Art Gallery after checking Unilocal reviews. The owner has a good eye and helped me choose a great frame. It was a pleasure working with a local business. No hesitation in recommending.

I would highly recommend this place. I went/​called all over trying to find someone help me frame a large poster I had purchased. When I spoke with the owner about this poster, he knew exactly what I was looking for, the measurements it needed to be cut down to and, based on what I told him about the room where it would go, helped me to select a perfect frame to go with it. The price was more than fair, less by far than what the other dealers were charging. Almost more importantly, the owner is such a nice person that if I had come to this store first, I might not even have looked anywhere else first before I went back to his gallery because he seems very genuine and I would trust his opinion. We have a few more pieces that we are looking to get and I will definitely be coming here to have them framed. He has a very nice selection in the store so I would love to purchase additional pictures but we just don’t have any more room on our walls!

This place is much more professional than the framing galleries on the Upper East Side that there are also Groupons for.
I too bought their Groupon. I took a cheap poster of the Flatiron here (Edward Steichen’s awesome print), and these guys did an amazing job of working with me on the additional expenses and selecting a beautiful matte and frame.
Friendly and professional. I recommend and will definitely return. s

I had a Groupon for this location and they were extremely fast, helpful and knocked it out of the park. On top of that, I had an extremely delicate/​expensive piece, and they treated it like it was theirs. Good framing isn’t cheap, but I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Bought a Groupon for this place, and couldn’t be happier that I did. Everyone I worked with there was super friendly and helpful – I couldn’t make a decision on the frame, so they helped me out :) And honestly it looks FANTASTIC.
Framing was done within the time quote they gave me, and I am thrilled about how it turned out. If you have any question of where to go for custom framing on the UWS, this is the place! Best price and quality of service in the area.

Purchased several pieces here recently. They have a good selection of prints in the store, plus literally thousands more in their books/​catalogues. They did a great job framing my prints too. The owner is very helpful and nice to deal with. Reasonable prices.
