I have been a loyal Coach customer for years. As a teacher I get my bags for both work and play from Coach so I’m always a little annoyed when my experiences are less than stellar. 1. Coach Queens Ctr Mall is no more and for some strange reason the locator doesn’t state that so once again I’m forced to come to Manhattan but ok. I placed an order online for a color blocked Smyth Satchel crossbody and I intentionally ordered the same item in 2 sizes, the mini and regular size. I did that because sometimes especially when the bag is a crossbody there isn’t room for your wallet. I wanted to make sure it was the right size as I plan on using it for my upcoming Europe vacation. After receiving the bag and falling in love with the larger size, I needed to return the other so 5th Ave it was. I walked in the store the only customer, approached a gentleman fixing a display and courteously stated why I was there. He beckoned to another worker(Asian lady) to assist me and reiterated what I needed help with. I took the bag from the shopping bag and handed it to her with the receipt. No sooner than I had done that she began to play 21 questions, where did you buy the bag, what’s wrong with it, why are you returning it, why not take something else, do you have other coach bags. Wtf? Here’s my thing… I’m gonna assume she can read as the receipt stated it was purchased online, shows that I bought two of the same bag, the one I was returning still had go on the straps and as I stood in front of her I was wearing a red crossbody from last season’s collection. I hate that game. Whether it’s intentional or not, it’s unnecessary. If customers are making a return and they would live something else in return for it as opposed to the preferred for of payment, they’ll say exchange etc or look for something else. Don’t harass them under the disguise of customer service or side ways racism. Other than that love Coach, the quality of their products and their warranty. I have never had an issue with a product, reached out to them and it wasn’t rectified swiftly and to maximum satisfaction. I will continue to patronize the brand, perhaps just not this location.

I’m a loyal coach customer, I have many bags & wallets which I am very pleased with. But the strap on my newest wallet has frayed after less than a year and when I went to this location to inquire about getting it repaired or replaced the sales associate was very rude & snappy to me. The store was empty and he was behaving as if he didn’t have the time to help me. Coach should check out their Madison ave staff. I’ve only ever had great experiences with customer service at coach so this really bummed me out.

I went into this Coach store to exchange a satchel I received as a gift for a different color. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by two friendly gentlemen. One of the associates asked me what I needed and got to helping me immediately. Since they didn’t have the model I wanted in stock, he offered to order it from the warehouse and have it shipped it to my house for free! The transaction was so simple, pleasant, and quick. I was in there for less than 10 minutes and got everything I needed done so efficiently. The store is beautiful and I had a great time trying on this season’s beautiful jewelry. Take the time to visit the store for your next purchase instead of ordering online if you can. It’s worth it!

I went to LV first before coming here. My sister wanted a shoulder strap for some bag she had so I was going to get it for her birthday. It took me a bit to get an associates attention and I was treated poorly. When I saw the strap alone was over $ 200 and there was a long line to check out I just left and came here. The staff was awesome and got me what I wanted quickly. I bought here a clutch for less than the price of a strap at LV and she uses it all the time. It was really top notch service and far better than what I received elsewhere.

I also have to mirror the previous reviews WRT customer service. Actually I was impressed at the level of customer service at all of the Coach stores we visited in NYC. I went there with my wife who was looking to purchase a new purse. The staff there were very helpful. The one sales representative stayed with my wife for over half and hour looking at the different designs and models, helping her decide what was best for her and her taste. She ended up not only getting a purse, but also a wallet and change purse. I can’t complain as I had just dropped some major cash in another camera store lol. Anyway I just have to say that the customer service here matched the previous reviewers comments.

The store had one of the best customer service that I had at a retail store. They are not at all pushy and they take their time in helping me pickout the bag that i’m looking for. This is probably the only handbag company that really understand how treat their customer like a VIP.

this store is small but i think it’s still bigger than the one near rockefeller. staff here are always friendly and helpful. i was there to get my mom a bag for her birthday but they did not have it in stock. it was last season and the only way to get one will be to order one. she was however quick to show me the new model that replaces what i wanted. the only difference, as she pointed out is the leather material. the shape and design is the same. i didnt quite like the look and feel of the new leather and a quick glance at the price tag revealed a $ 30 increase in price! so that is the other difference that she conveniently failed to point out.:) she was also helpful enough to suggest going to a departmental stores to try my luck and that other coach stores will not carry it anymore. so will i have luck at some other coach store or some departmental store? i just hope to find a suitable bag for my mom soon, as it is already overdue!
