Just about decent. Nothing to go crazy over but it will fix your hunger if youre nearby.

Ordered penne a la vodka about a week ago and I was expecting amazing since the guy on the phone did tell me it was, but when I received the food and ate it was not amazing at all!!! Sauce was watery didn’t taste like anything no flavor nothing!!! I called to complain and he basically said no one complains which I think is bull cause there was no taste and I’ve had amazing penne a la vodka in different places so I would know how it should taste!!!

Meh. That sums it up. Ordered delivery online – calzone. What I received was not the crispy shell with yummy melted cheese. It was floppy and while ok, the texture of the crust was gross and wet. Yes, wet. With all the pizza joints in the city there is definitely better.

I ordered a large 18″ Italian supreme (various meats + mushroom + onions) and thought it was a solid pizza. It was a bit too thin for my taste, but it seemed like my friends enjoyed the that texture. Also, the mix of flavors weren’t as flavorful as I expected it to be, so I would probably have opted for another series of toppings if I could order again. Nonetheless, the pizza was good value for the price, and delivery was fast!

Yup, I did it… I gave a pizzeria (not in Chicago) five stars. I’ve only ordered a thin crust cheese pizza — but by far my favorite since relocating to NYC. Cheesy, salty, tomatoey, crispy goodness :)

Locally owned business and incredibly friendly staff! I stopped in for a slice and City Slice puts your normal pizza slice place to shame. A clean and artistic interior match the great slices. I talked to the owner behind the counter, and he was a super nice guy. Added bonus– the pepperoni are the largest you’ve ever seen on a slice, they’re easily 5−6″ across. Just awesome.

I ordered the bbq chicken pizza — it came drenched in bbq to the point I tasted nothing else! So much chicken you feel like your eating a sloppy plate of bbq chicken bites than a well built pizza. Disappointed at the least — especially for a 18 $ medium pizza

Skipped their Amazon Local deal earlier in the year, when they had fewer reviews and a higher overall rating, but alas…
Grabbed a $ 3.25 sicilian ($ 7 cc min) and as they heated it up to a reasonable temp., looked around at the dessert and canine options, nice touches. There’s also a student special = regular slice and one of their 3 drinks for $ 2.75.
I used to be of the belief that the quality of a pizzeria is inversely related to the friendliness of its staff. The 2 guys working this place were both very friendly, and that plus how they handled a lunatic outside brings it from a 3 to a 4.

This place is in my neighborhood right near my daughters school. Started stopping in on Fridays after school for a treat & just «mommy daughter time». Absolutely the friendliest, courteous customer service ever. They greet you when you come in are super sweet & friendly. Always clean most importantly the BEST PIZZA in this neighborhood! I’ve lived here for 23 years that says a lot. The owner is in often also very friendly to his customers. Over all it’s a great place

The lasagna pizza is seriously delicious. I couldn’t believe how good it was. I wish I lived here so that I could come back again and again

This is my new favorite NYC pizza place. It’s tiny but so delicious, quick and cheap. I went with 4 friends and we had Hawaiian, meat lovers, vegi lovers, chicken bar-​b-​que, and pineapple & pulled pork. We met the owner too and he seemed very nice. I’ll definitely be going back to try out more things on the menu.

Ordered up meatball parm w/​spaghetti for now… buffalo chicken & meat lovers slices for later (cuz it be Thick Boy Thursday, y’all!).
Ordered at 3:50pm. They confirmed within two minutes. Arrived by 4:30pm.
Good size slices. Still hot and crispy on delivery. Though meat lovers hardly had any meat on it, and the sauce was sweet. Buff chick was good, though.
That parm looked amazing! Huge, heavy portion. Solid meatballs. Same sweet sauce, though… pasta cooked well (just over al dente). Came with a complimentary warm roll.
If I was into sweet sauce? 3.5. Since I’m not, but they still do a decent slice and pasta? Solid 3.

Great customer service and food was delicious! I ordered eggplant parm and meatball parm. Quantity was large. I am definitely coming back here for take out. The owner was very sweet.

This place is pretty, pretty, pretttttty good. There are a few $ 1 pizza joints in the blocks surrounding it, but make no mistake, this is no dollar slice (in quality… and literal price). The cheese/​sauce ratio is on point – i.e, enough sauce to cheese, and the crust is crispy.
Worth it.

Although it looks like a bodega/​hole in the wall pizza place from the outside, the quality of the food is way better and nothing like the $ 1 slice joints. I like thin crust pizza, so I am a fan of City Slice when I am craving a good slice of American-​style pizza (if you’re looking for something more «artisanal,» walk to Merilu on 9^th avenue).
Somehow, City Slice’s pizza crust always stays deliciously crispy throughout the meal, and makes great leftovers without becoming soggy. The quality is also consistent, as I’ve ordered several times, both pick up and delivery. One time they forgot a topping on my pizza, and they re-​made the entire pie and threw in some free garlic knots with plenty of apologies — great customer service! Delivery also arrives in a timely manner.
The quality of their ingredients is what I appreciate the most — when I order vegetarian pizzas, I can taste that the spinach weren’t pre-​frozen stuff and the mushrooms aren’t pre-​canned. Fresh ingredients on pizzas are the best! The marinara sauce is also not overly salty, so I never get my typical «post pizza bloat & thirst» when I order from here.
If you live out on the far west like I do, I highly recommend City Slice for your go-​to American pizza joint!

I live very close to City Slice and have never stopped in. One night I ordered a pizza using Seamless and I was disappointed that I have never been here before. I ordered a Sicilian pizza and was very pleased. The crust was cooked perfectly, a little crispy and a little chewy. The cheese was also very good and the sauce was great.
I ordered as second time and the pizza was exactly like the first. I was glad that they were able to keep the consistency from pizza to pizza.
Both times it took about 25 – 30 min for delivery. Everyone is very friendly and the pizza was packed nicely.
City Slice is becoming our favorite pizza place.

Awesome BBQ chicken pizza and bacon pizza, and for a great price ($ 8 for two slices and a drink)
Can’t ask for a better place to grab a slice in HK.
