I came here on a snowy sunday afternoon. $ 30 for a full face threading that felt rushed (probably took 10 minutes) and with a job incomplete. In fact, she neglected to do my entire forehead area. When I asked if she was going to do it, she was like, «oh, we don’t do that area unless the client says they want us to do it.» This was my first time here. I requested a FULL face threading. She *never* asked me if I wanted my forehead done or not.
Perhaps the way to go here is to just get a single area done, The only area that seemed done correctly was the upper lip and brows; the rest of my face, because the job was rushed, feels partially complete.
I may try one of the other locations (seems like the one down the street has better reviews) but won’t be back here.
Note: They add a fee if using a credit card.

I would not recommend this location. One of the worst brow threading experiences that I’ve ever had! I usually go to the location btw. 79^th and 80^th but ended up at this location. The woman advised me to thread more from my eyebrows in order to make the brows match but they came out extremely crooked. She then told me that I should allow her to thread even more which would leave me without any eyebrows. I refused and she blamed me for not telling her exactly what I wanted. This business fails to listen to the customer or provide a standard quality of service.

I had gone here a few times with no problem but the last time she pinched me so badly that I have marks and bloody «pinpricks» under my brows and it has been THREE days and they have still not gone away. I mentioned this to my dermatologist and he said that because some of these women lick the thread there have been instances of clients getting HERPES from getting threading on their brows. So watch out!!!

There is another location between 78^th and 79^th on Amsterdam but I always end up here for my eyebrows because I don’t feel like walking the extra few blocks from my apartment! I came in on a weekday with no appointment and was quickly seen. They are thorough, and efficient at what they do. At around $ 10 say it’s a very fair price for a precise job.

They are very good at what they do. I wouldn’t say that they are fast (but that is probably because threading hurts and always seems to take for ever — plus I have bushy brows). I always leave looking pretty good. They are also very reasonably priced.
