I heard about them and decided to try the food here. What can I say, doesn’t worth the walk, and doesn’t worth passing by local Spanish restaurants that would really appreciate your business. The burrito here is alright. Less than I would expect from Chipotle. They can’t compete with the local homemade spanish restaurants inNYC.

Came here for lunch to go. Line was long but it moved quickly. I was in and out in under ten minutes. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl. Everthing was fresh. Ive been to Chipotle many times before and today was no different.

I love Chipotle. Even after the ecoli scare, I am still a Chipotle fan. Particularly a fan of their bowls. Just so yummy.

Not the friendliest of staff and no sense of portion control at all. I feel so ripped off by this location!

Man, I love chipotle. This Chipotle though, no. First of all its tiny. I can’t even imagine what the lunch rush is like here from the hospital. I usually come here at night right before they close and it’s still packed. Secondly, the portions are TINY. It’s like whoever owns this one tells their employees on the line to count each grain of rice. If you’re on your way home from work downtown, go to the one on 56th and 8th. It’s worth trekking the food uptown.

It seems like no one here knows how to roll a burrito. It is painful to watch them struggle with what is one of the most basic skills you would expect from someone who works at Chipotle. I’ve only been here a handful of times, so maybe I just got unlucky with the employee rolling mine, but still, its really not that hard. The food is usually lukewarm. Not much else to say, its just Chipotle food, you pretty much know what you’re getting. The lines are always long, but it moves fairly quickly. The best I can say about this place is that it has a convenient location, at least for me. The only reason I’ve been to this place multiple times is because its about two minutes from where I work. Otherwise, I would not recommend coming here.

For the love of god, people, don’t eat at Chipotle in Washington Heights. You’re surrounded by some of the best Mexican food this side of the Mason-Dixon line, all for half the price of a Chipotle burrito. You can support local family-owned businesses, or you can vote with your dollar to turn Quisqueya Heights into another gentrified hipster-chain hellhole. But why did you move here if that’s what you wanted? For a better burrito, walk five blocks down to Las Palmas, or another two blocks to El Pitallito. Better yet, ditch the burrito and go for some of the best tacos you’ll ever have: Sweet Life Pastry on 163rd and Ricos Tacos Mexicanos on 158th will not disappoint. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, this is a predominantly Dominican neighborhood, so check out La Barca on 162nd or Margot Restaurant on 159th. Just, whatever you do, please, please don’t pay Chipotle $ 2.30 for guac and fund the replacement of these incredible, one-of-a-kind eateries.

This was… Sad. Half a spoonful of the meat, maybe seven individual slices of peppers and onions. Fairly inattentive workers. I love chipotle, I eat at locations all over the city. I’ve never once had this bad of an experience.

very small portions for a chipotle, maybe they are practicing cost cutting? food is typical fare for chipotle, always decently fresh. People are fairly friendly for the area.

This is the tiniest chipotle I’ve been in. That being said it’s not the best location to be hanging around in. Best to grab your food in go. The workers here seem nice enough. If your vegetarian or vegan keep an eye out for your burrito bowl, despite using different ladles for the food items there were many close calls!

Your average, run of the mill Chipotle. The line was long as expected, but moved pretty quickly despite the workers behind the counter joking and messing around like they were in a Boy Meets World episode. The woman in front of me had major sass which she then delivered onto the unfortunate worker who was passing on the bowls and heating up the tortillas. The worker maintained her smile without showing any positive or negative inflection and moved the lady along at the normal speed. It was much more professional than I was expecting from reading past reviews. Burritos could use a little extra stuffing, but all in all you get what you expect from a Chipotle.

I love Chipotle, but this one is noticeably worse than the ones in midtown. They definitely skimp on portions… the spoonful of meat is not the usual heaping amount and the tiny dollop of guac is just sad(I end up having to ask them for the guac on the side in the plastic container just to get my money’s worth). I thought it was my imagination at first, but a lot of other reviewers on here have also said the same. They also seem to be out of things often and never prepare an extra batch in anticipation as the previous batch is running out. The line is often held up as there is no chicken or beans. The lemons in the bin next to the utensils seems to always be close to empty. The staff here are iffy as well. Many times they are laughing and carrying on loud personal conversations among themselves. I’m all for having a fun and positive work environment, but when I have to repeat what I want 3x because their listening abilities are hindered by all the socializing… that’s a no no. That being said, some of them do work really hard and keep the lunchtime hospital line moving quickly. Beggars can’t be choosers, I suppose. I’m glad this Chipotle opened up and it is always a reliable lunch option.

Three stars just because it it Chipotles. The bowl was made just right, just as I asked no bells and whistles. This location is surrounded by a major job for docs and nurses from the areas surrounding hospitals and they frequent here very often, most days the line is spilling into the sidewalk with people in hospital scrubs. Today was no different, the line was ridiculous, like outside the door @1:00 pm in the afternoon, it took about 15 minutes for me to reach the counter, but I must admit the staff was friendly and moved at the speed of light. Seriously, I do not see how anyone could sit and eat in that location in comfort its just too congested to sit and enjoy your lunch.

By far my least favorite chipotle in the city. Line is alway extremely long and slow. They are also often out if things. Te last three times I’ve gone they’ve been out of salad dressing, guac, and veggies… and two of those times have been mid afternoon when it wasn’t peak hour. It’s also a pretty small location so things feel very cramped. If you have a choice go somewhere else. Maybe soon they will get it together… I’m not holding out hope.

typical chipotle food and quality only gripe is the extremely long line and the workers who are always rushing you so they can get more people in and out. the place feels overwhelmed with the lunch rush. terrible seating arrangements.

Horrendous location. Shitty, just like every other chain that exists in Washington Heights. If they could just a) get through my order without trying to put things I did not ask for on my food and b) roll a burrito properly, then MAYBE they could get two stars.

This isn’t like other chipotles– they know people will keep coming here though their attempt is mediocre at best. They excel at being in only chipotle around the med campus. Dassit. I mean what is there to say, they’re always out of hot sauces or utensils or a certain meat. They usually have a heavy hand with salt. I get this is fast food but you can really taste when they went overboard at this location. Also their staff just does not take pride in their work. Upside? They deliver and can cater for large groups around the Med campus.

Your average Chipotle, fairly quick service and good option near the hospital for lunch. Not going to get into specifics, you know what u want when u go to chipotle. But in terms of venue, take out from this location is definitely preferable as space is limited. **One small thing, near the condiment station where you grab your chipotle sauce to go, every time I’ve gone they are always out of the little cups u can use to take away lemon wedges, sauces, etc. They’ll replace them at the front immediately, but its just a little bit of inconvenience. just an FYI. OVERALL: not a bad place to grab lunch to go near the hospital.

I’ve been to this chipotle approximately a billion times since it is right by the subway exit and is a quick fix for dinner in a neighborhood with limited options. Being Chipotle the lines are, expectedly, long. That being said-they do move pretty quickly until the check out which for some reason is always the slowest part. I’ve had my burrito straight up stolen by someone else at the checkout line and then had to wait for them to remake it. I wouldn’t mention this except that it has happened more than once. Also they always seem to be out of something. Sometimes it is lettuce. Sometimes it is rice. Sometimes it is beans. But if there are short lines, you can bet it is because they are lacking some ingredient pivotal to the deliciousness of their burritos. The food is good, it is Chipotle after all, but they need better management so that they don’t run out of ingredients all the time and so that the person working the cash register doesn’t stop cashing people out in favor of filling bags with tortilla chips. In short: expect a line and to go home sans the exact burrito you were craving.
