New chatime that replaced kokola(finally, after so many years of poor business). There’s a pizza place in here that is connected to chatime. Same owner I guess since the workers at chatime went over to the pizza place to help out. Pizza and bubble tea. What a weird combo. This place is new so please understand the 1 star. Hopefully when I go back, they will improve. When I came, there were a couple waiting for drinks already. I ordered a hot brown rice green tea. The cashier seemed clueless because she doesn’t know the menu well. She asked if I wanted milk, I said no. She didn’t know how to punch in the order on the screen so a guy came over to help. He also asked if I wanted milk in it and in case they didn’t understand, I said it in chinese. She told me $ 2.50. I know it’s a small difference but the total is $ 2.45 and it clearly states it on the reciept so idk why she can’t read the numbers. I then asked for tapioca so the total came out to $ 3. 1 minute later, she tells me there’s no more tapioca. Ok that’s fine but shouldn’t you know beforehand? 5 minutes later, the couple get their drinks. 10 minutes later, I get mine. I seriously knew they would make a mistake so I checked my drink to make sure. I’m so glad I did because they added milk in mine. Ok now this part I would have to be pretty mad about. I stated twice to no milk. The price I paid for was no milk. The freaking sticker on the cup clearly says Brown rice green tea too. So what the heck is the problem? Waited a few more minutes for my drink and finally! 20 minutes later, I get my drink. They should seriously look over the menu and practice making drinks first before opening up. Either way, this wouldn’t be a spot for me to go to all the time. During the time I was in there, a bunch of fobs(sorry for the term) came in and sat on the seats for the pizza place without ordering anything, while a guy who actually ordered a slice had to stand. Typical, I guess?
