I saw Dr. Chapman for a problem with my ankle as a 2nd opinion. He and the staff were attentive, efficient, and professional. The best news of all? His expertise helped to heal my ankle. Although I trust and respect my primary orthopedic doctor, I was not healing. Dr. Chapman made a different suggestion and it was Dr. Chapman’s medical course I took that led to the healing.

Dr. Chapman is the worst doctor I have ever been to! First of all, he charges $ 200 for the initial visit as a «consultation fee» on top of insurance. Then he packs in about 5 — 7 patients per hour. I waited an hour to see him at each of my three visits and he is literally running from room to room with the nurse running after him and whispering in his ear before he enters the room to remind him of what is wrong with the next patient. He doesn’t prepare by reading charts. He is totally dismissive and said«well, ankle pain is a part of aging, well, that’s the way it goes». He told me to come back in a month for a treatment and that he would never do surgery for my condition. When I returned for the treatment he said he doesn’t have the equipment to do it properly in the office, but that he would try his best to do it without the proper equipment«how hard can it be, I know the general area». Then he said surgery would be next and I reminded him that he said he wouldn’t do surgery for my problem and his response was, «why would he do surgery all the time, in that case he would not have time to see patients». Total scam artist. Of course he doesn’t want to do surgery when he can collect about $ 1000 per hour from new patients. Everyone in his waiting room is always upset and the whole practice is a shit show. Stay away!!!
