Horrible and selfish treatment of both customers and employees. I paid for a salad with grilled chicken that was just under $ 12 with tax. Ten minutes later they tell me they can’t make salads now and that I should just grab a sandwich because«it’s the same price.» I hold up one and say«isn’t this more like $ 7?» and they again insist«it’s the same price, it’s the same price» and rush me out knowing full well that I have a train to catch and can’t argue or I’ll go without money AND lunch. Later on their site I confirm that yes, the mozzarella and prosciutto sandwich was nearly half the price of the salad I paid for. I went back that evening and politely explained to the manager what happened. I wasn’t even angry or upset! I just said hey, there’s been a mistake, could I just be refunded the difference? He responds by pulling money out of his employees’ tip jar and handing it to me. Bewildered, I tell him the money he owes me is in the cash register, and that the workers on this shift have nothing to do with it. He shoves the money at me and says«Take it. You want the money? Take it.» He doesn’t budge. I tell him I’m not going to take from his employees and leave. And you know what? The sandwich wasn’t even good! It was mostly dry, bland bread with minimal, tasteless filling. This place is honestly not worth your money, or your time.

Best sliced steak sangwich. I had mine on ciabatta with garlic mayo and Brie. They dish out steak samples. Try one; it’ll seal the deal.

They may be the only food place in Grand Central Terminal that’s open late but unfortunately they seem to act like they know it. My food was«meh» at best and while the fries were decent, it was way too pricey for the quality I got. I’d suggest going outside Grand Central or maybe to Shake Shack instead.
